Description of Work: My carpet had not been cleaned in 3 yrs. There were dog urinating stains and smells and Chuck did his best to get them out. I believe the carpet came as clean as it could for the shape it was in. I will use this service again.

Description of Work: Terrific staff. My main problem in my home are my tile and porcelain floors. I have 6 small dogs and keeping my floors clean is a constant chore. The two woman who come to clean do an excellent job. No sticky residue and fresh clean floors. My baseboards are white and also a pain; they do a very good job on that as well. My daughters two rooms and bathroom are quite a job as well and so far I have no complaints only praise. I have used them twice so far and they return on a two week basis. Very happy I used Angie's list in selecting them. Price range for cleaning is reasonable and the average market price for these services. Thank you !

Description of Work: Update: I was very happy with their first cleaning. The next cleaning I hired them for was a move-in that required extensive deep cleaning throughout the house, which they assured me they could do. I was less than 100% but still fairly satisfied and gave this company a B rating as a result of their effort to make it right. But then, The response from the company is defensive, unapologetic, and inaccurate, and feel a need to defend my reasoning for what is now going to be a C rating. I would not use their services again: I agree with the response that they made a mistake of taking this job and that they should stick to basic domestic cleaning of established houses; move-in cleanings are definitely not everyone's specialty and that became evident after the work was done.. I was clear about what was needed from the beginning. I did not demand anything; I was not pushy as is being implied. 1. There was no "major construction" going on in the house. It was installation of a backsplash; that can cause dust! All other projects that had been done in the house were completed and it was dusty. They did indeed explain that due to the work being done that they wouldn't be able to do a perfect job; that is why I didn't see fit to complain about any dust from the backsplash being installed or any areas they were unable to reach; so it's pretty irrelevant. It was the day before we were to move in and I obviously had no time to hire another company after this one assured me they could do the job in the first place. 2. Even the manager admitted they did not clean the medicine cabinets because that isn't something they normally do. Blaming the construction for anything I may have been dissatisfied with is quite a stretch. Construction had nothing to do with where the quality of work was lacking. 3. I made one single request to one of the housekeepers during my visit, which was to remove the debris from the inside of the shower stall frames; that had been there for at least a month and was from popcorn texture being removed from the ceiling over a month before. It required a little elbow grease; it came off if you cratch it with a fingernail. The reponse from the company makes it sound as if I was going around barking orders and distrupting the cleaning. Since that time no 'construction' had occured anywhere near the bathrooms. The housekeeper removed it from one bathroom but not the other. I was willing to pay for the work; therefore I see no reason for this company to coomplain about how long it took! They certainly didn't discount it! 4. The company response makes no mention or apology of the main thing I was actually unhappy about; the fact that the housekeeper wiped the junk from the medicine cabinet all over the CLEAN bathroom counter and left it there. 5. I never came back and wrote how one of the cabinets in the bathroom was also untouched and had lots of dead bugs in it which I cleaned out myself. A proper final inspection should have uncovered all of the above; it was not until I had moved in that I noted the medicine cabinets and that is why I called them back yet a 2nd time. 6. I did NOT expect anyone to MOVE anything; in fact I did all of the moving of some items in the bathroom; the rest of the house was empty. This sounds like a lot of complaining when a regular established home has a lot more moving around to do than an almost empty one. I am now downgrading my rating of this company to a C and would not use this company again for any type of cleaning upon realizing their attitude toward a customer giving them a B!
