Description of Work: I can not comment on their work however the owners was very inappropriate and unprofessional. Things were going fine until she walked down stairs and insulted my dogs and said "That is the ugliest dog I have ever seen!" I asked if she was serious and she said yes, look at those ears. Who does that? I have 2 Boston Terriers and are great looking dogs. Sorry you lost my business besides being $2K higher in your estimate. Maybe because of the Angie's list deal they had they were very busy so are charging higher then others.

Description of Work: This is the second time I ued L&D. I had to wait a little while for the appointment, but they are well worth the wait. They did an excellent job for fair price, and they are very nice people!

Description of Work: With only 4 hours to do the work based on the coupon it seemed rushed and therefore the quality suffered. It certainly was a good start to a project, but again because of the time limit from the coupon it could not be completed 100%

Description of Work: I had a good experience with them. They came out to my house and painted/installed new interior doors and resurfaced my guest bathroom.

Description of Work: Amazing work, terrific workers. The estimate was thrown out the window as the job was changed. A much better solution was suggested. Wow, ever had a job reduced? Less time needed and so ended up cheaper than expected. Donna was incredible. Will use this company again whenever I need anything done!

Description of Work: I purchased a 'big deal' for 4 hours with 2 handymen for $225. I thought it seemed like a great deal considering they seem to do quality work based on their reviews. The company emailed me within 2 weeks of purchase (unsure of exact length, but reasonable time) and said their first available appointment to view the job is in November. I emailed back asking if they can start in November or if they can only 'view the job' that day. I never heard back. I emailed again to verify they received my response and again, no response. I assume they're busy b/c they do quality work and the coupon is a great deal. However, it's not a great deal if you can't get them out to your house in a reasonable time frame and with decent communication. I was disappointed and requested a refund Angie's list. I never got to meet them. I would actually recommend they charge more for their coupon than $225 so they have fewer responses and therefore, more time to communicate and start new projects.

Description of Work: I bought several pieces of outdoor furniture at IKEA and HomeDepot which would of taken me many hours to build. L & D put them together quickly and efficiently. They were professional and I would recommend their services.

Description of Work: The professionals at L&D Renovations were absolutely punctual and extremely courteous in their correspondence with me after initially calling them for an estimate on rebuilding my hot water encasement in my utility room. They sent out a couple of men to see what all it would take to rebuild the wood underneath the heater to get an accurate estimate. Although I went with someone a little closer to my budget I would definitely consider using them again for future projects. I will say that after getting 2 other estimates from different handymen, they seemed to be quite a gap in the price between L&D and the other 2 estimates for exactly the same job( L&D was almost $375 higher than the other 2) but very nice folks!
