I left a message on their voice mail ( no human to speak with) two days ago on the 16th at 9:50am. It has been two days and they have not called back.

I was very pleased with the service. I had a "laundry list" of items to be done. This team was an active partner in problem solving issues and making recommendations on how to proceed (fix v. replace, how to hang/install stained glass windows, what to do when pressure washing was too much for the area, etc.). I appreciated their flexibility and willingness to offer their professional opinion as well as their willingness to acquiesce to my wishes - even when it ended up going the way they recommended in the first place (stained glass install using wall anchors v. pictures hangers - a sound decision). They arrived within the hour window they had given me and called with advanced notice to make sure I was ready for them. Their communication was excellent. They wanted to make sure they had my list of needs before they came so they had the necessary equipment with them, but they were also open to my last minute additions as time and materials allowed. I have already recommended them to a friend tonight for work he needs completed and will willingly do so again.

A team of three knocked out all of the repairs on a rather long list. The were punctual, professional and made good suggestions. We plan on having them back.

This is an awesome crew, a real delight to have in the house. They are hard workers and punctual. I felt at ease with them right away and that is not something I do easily. They did all the work I needed. My kitchen looks incredible with the new back splash tile work! I just love it! The dry wall is perfect and I can not tell it was ever damaged. I am no longer embarrassed to have people use the front bathroom. They worked hard to make it all match up! I can finally turn the water on outside by myself! But best of all, they built and installed two handicap ramps that allow me to get into all the rooms with ease! They are sturdy and attractive and very safe!! These people are the people you want in your home! Courteous, honest, creative and hardworking. They really know what they are doing! I recommend them completely!!

They arrived on time, were very professional & courteous. Work was done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. Went above & beyond when we had issues with the sinks I had purchased. They called Lowe's to find out which sink would fit and provided me with the item number so I could get in and out of Lowe's quickly. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks!

We purchased a Big Deal for $700 worth of work at the price of $250 through AL. L&D immediately contacted me to schedule the work and sent me their open schedule. We scheduled a date but when they arrived to perform the work we realized the entire door was rotten not just the frame. They told us what they could do and suggested we replace the entire door and call them when we did and they would come back. We did and they responded right a way when we had the door in. The family showed up on time and did a great job. The old frame and door was removed and replaced. A pile of old lumber was cut up and piled for removal. In addition Donaugh measured, cut and installed almost 100 ft. of quarter round along our tile floors throughout the house. The crew was here for 3-4 hours and did a tremendous job. Donaugh also noticed our kitchen cabinet doors needed adjusting and adjusted them before they left. We discussed a few other jobs that we were contemplating and we will ask them to return when we have the time to tackle them also. L&D ... responsive, personable, hard working and fast team work. I will use them again.

L&D did a fantastic job. I had NO issues with their responsiveness! My messages were promptly addressed and all appointments were kept. There was constant communication. There were no surprises - regarding money or time frame we agreed to. They were very professional and are a family oriented contractor. The work was performed on time and exactly as was discussed. We love our bathroom!!! Donnagh is a great project manager. Her team are great workers.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was unclear why I still had to pay them something more. The work was done and the cleaning was fine but I don't know why I had to pay extra. The deal was supposed to cover 4 hours. She discounted the amount of the deal and I guess the amount of time was more than 4 hours. She came and did an estimate for this house and another house that my husband has. They did the estimate fairly quickly after I purchased the deal. They did end up replacing grout in the master bath. It didn't match what was there. They said it would never match what they changed colorwise. Even when it is dry, it looks wet and some of the lines are darker. They came 2 or 3 times and we finally said to forget it. They did try. Neither of us were overly thrilled with the whole thing. The cleaning was fine but the result never was correct as to their conclusion on why the grout never matched. The cleaning was fine but it probably would have been better if we hadn't pulled the grout up at all.

It went great. Another quote from a different company was $1000. This company came in and did it efficiently. They cleaned up and they are always pleasant.

Terrible, would not recommend. They have poor communication and lied to me about giving me a refund for a service they couldn't perform.

The project was made much harder than it needed to be. The preparation and painting should have only required a tall ladder but they went with immense scaffolding that was unnecessary since these areas were painted by ladder in the past. The paver surface below the scaffolding was not properly protected and subsequently experienced some discoloration and damage.

The service worked out fine. They are a little bit hard to schedule. The main thing about them is that two people do come out, but not like for x number of hours. It was a $700 deal for $250, which was what I paid for. I had to make a list and when the list was done, one item was left undone because they did not bring a ladder that was tall enough. It was kind of surprising because the tallest ladder that they had, was 5 feet, which was what I had in my garage; but I thought a handyman would have a higher ladder. I needed something to be hung at the 8 foot level. It would have required a taller ladder, which they did not have and so that didn't get done. Basically, what the list is, they do that. It could be misleading because if one has only three things to be done then they would do three things and they will be done. I actually fought back considering that it is a $700 value. They spent around 4 hours or slightly over that. One person was trained person and the other one was an apprentice. One job was not done, which was on the list. I had to provide them with my ladder because the one they had was simply not high enough. They did not hang the art items. As a matter of fact, in all the instances, my husband was with them. He was kind of talking them even though he didn't have any experience as a handyman at all. If they needed anything while putting the closet together then he would go and get it for them. It seemed like they did not have all the required tools that they should have, especially the 10 foot ladder. It was not easy to schedule them. I would probably go with other handymen.

My experience overall was very dissatisfying. I believe they are hard workers and good people, but may have gotten in over their head. I am ultimately just looking for the work to be correctly. It has been two months later and the job is still not completed. I have safety concerns regarding the unfinished closet. I actually had to take care of some of the sharp edges myself for my own safety. The quality of construction is less than sub-par. I had to constantly remind them of our appointments to make sure they were still going to show up. Their communication skills are very poor. I have been very patient and understanding, but I also feel very taken advantage of.

They were okay. I didn't love them. They repaired some rotten fascia board on the outside of the house. There were rotten spots by the front door and also around on the side of the house. They went around, looked at the side of the house and said that they would have to rip out my rose bushes and it would cost $1000 to fix that. Reed's Renovation & Repair fixed that when he came out as part of the big deal I purchased for them. L&D also didn't get finished. They had to come back and did eventually come back. It took them two weeks to come back and finish painting this spot. I had to call them a couple of times. They had replaced some of the fascia board on the front of the house. That was what had to be painted. The price I paid them was good. The price they tried to quote to do what they said was additional work was very high. They also were smoking cigarettes outside of my house, which I hate.

Everything went great. They were patient, courteous, and professional. Although I had to make a trip to the hardware store, they gave me some options that saved me money. Everything on my list was competed as agreed. I will use them again.

They were very courteous and polite and the work that they did they did fairly well, however I didn't feel that they finished properly because it started raining it looked like they rushed off a bit. They've been here about 4 hours and they didn't finish and they didn't tidy up after themselves, they even left a hammer. It was quite a lot of painting jobs, interior and exterior, sort of touch-up jobs. They've taken some of the wrong fixtures down and now I have to put them up. I would use them again if i was desperate.

I have used L& D on several occasions and would rate them tops in everything. Today ended up being a small project but they have done larger projects too. We had some bumps in what both they and I expected (nobody's fault - just the nature of the odd job) and they were very flexible, patient and reasonable. i will use them again - in fact we have an appointment set. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Donnagh is a strong, hands- on project leader.

After leaving two messages on separate days, they never called back.

In order to have the handymen/women complete the wish list, it is necessary to have all materials needed to perform the job. Our wish list consisted of the following: Repair plaster in kitchen Repair all loose fence planks Re-secure closet doors (on tracks) Secure bath faucet handles Repair window shutter tracks 3 people arrived and got to work, and were finished with all jobs within 2+ hours. All jobs were performed correctly and efficiently, along with some notes for suggested further repairs.

Very eager to please duo, licensed and insurance provided. They installed new customer provided laminate flooring in record time. Very clean and professional. Adds the wow factor to our investment properties. A great team that seems they can do anything except carpeting. We will definitely keep them on call for our future Needs.i

The quality of the work was excellent, but they were supposed to send two people out and they only sent one person. The came back a day later and charged me for the second person. I was not happy with that. It was inconvenient to have to be home for two days and I felt I was being ripped off with the additional charge.
