Description of Work: A woman and a man showed up to regrout an area in a very small bathroom. First thing she said was that she couldn't do it in three hours and charged us for more time then proceeded to finish job under three hours and left.

YOU HAVE LOST YOUR MIND... We have on file an address that we showed up to, completed and received a signature from YOUR SON... Not once during the 3 hours that we were there did your son tell us that we were pressure washing the wrong house. It is not until we completed the project, drove over 30 miles away from your home that you decided to call us and let us know that we completed the project on the incorrect address... Also, at no time during the several conversations that we had did you tell us that you wanted this pressure washing completed on a different address... We did our job as paid and a damn good one at that.... Too bad, too sad... I am so FED-UP with Members like you. You Members want want and want for nothing... God bless you and yours because HE is the only one that could help you!!!!

Thank you for the review. Yes, the sidewalk was in very bad shape so I will accept a "B" however as for "Responsiveness, I disagree. I showed up as scheduled, but your other contractor was there. You also called me at the office while I was enroute to tell me same. Upon arrival, we then re-scheduled but was rained out. Lighting and a metal rod do not get along. I then returned on the first available date and completed the pressure washing project. Now, if you would like us to return to see if we can work on that sidewalk, please let us know Regards, Donnagh

Thank you for your review, an overall "B" at that. I do not understand how you can take so long to write a review and expect to remember. We were not at your home on 10/01/13, but on 10/01/12… Pretty long time to remember how responsive we were to you! We receive the purchase details on 06/07/2012 and emailed you an available schedule that same day. You did not reply to our email until June 26, 2012. We immediately replied that same day with an updated schedule showing that our first available date was 08/13/12 only for you to book a date of October 1, 2012. Now with that, where do you figure we were not responding quickly enough? Oh, that’s right it’s been 19 (NINETEEN) months since we completed your project list to you writing this review.

Description of Work: Signed up to get $700 worth of handyman services for %299.00 Seemed like a great deal and I had a lot for a handyman to do. Unfortunately, they email you a schedule with almost no availability...literally 2 days open out of 30 and ask for you to schedule and provide a list of jobs for the handyman up front. I emailed and told them the limited dates did not work for me and if they could provide more dates or refund my money. They never responded, nor did they return any of my $299.00. I was absolutely ripped off...no other way to put it. Very deceitful!

L and D is a very skilled Husband and Wife team. they assessed the jobs, offered options -- first meeting was the free quote. Next day they arrived timely and started in on the jobs. they were always professional, considerate, and very kind with my Old Engilsh Sheepdog..both were very comfortable with her. I wish I knew of them sooner...as I had already had cabinets installed, it was very challenging for them to determine best way to install crown and sliders as both were Not standard. but thanks to their years of experience and fine skills they were able to work with what I had! Day 2 proved to be long but they both remained very pleasant as they worked very dilengently and proficiently, and again it was no problen for me to allow my sheepdog to roam . They cleaned everything up, moved all furniture back, provided some tips and trips on a few other home projects I am working on. I HIGHLY recommend them!
Description of Work: services performed; install caulk and paint baseboards. Install Crown Molding on top of Kitchen Cabinets. Install aftermarket pantry roll outs. Adjust kitchen cabinet doors.

Overall it went very smoothly, no glitches. Apparently L & D are a family run company and they understand the needs of others. Not only did they advise me as to what needed to be done. During portions of the work, they actually walked us through every step making us very comfortable. I would most definitely use L & D Renovations in the future.
Description of Work: I had originally hired L & D to do some small repairs on our back porch. After realizing that they were extremely proficient in repairs, I decided to allow them to refurbish and replace a cabinet in my kitchen. The cost was extremely suitable for my budget and it was very convenient that they made themselves available on the weekends, which allowed me to be present while they were working on the various projects.

I'll keep it short and simple. They were outstanding. I'll be using them for all my future handyman and renovation needs. I brought them in for handyman services and like them so much that I started talking with them about a renovation job in the kitchen to install a new double oven. Use them and you won't be disappointed.
Description of Work: I had a large honey-do list. We had molding that needed caulking, recaulk all of the bathroom tubs, installing a baby gate on the stairs they did a very professional job making sure everything lined up and they even filled in the screws with white filler so it would match. They changed out door knobs, installed a safety sensor on the sliding doors for the pool to let us know if the little one got the doors open and ran wiring for my HD TV.
