After confirming this with my contractor, he contacted the Building department and it tuned out we do not need it because the new flooring only involves 140 sq. feet. "I want to warn you as this company took advantage of me during the last hurricane Ian. I called them in to dry my house out, they were very quick to take my money, but removed only half of the wet floors and left me hanging for over a week, with the rest, which completely defeated the purpose of hiring them. Same happened to lots of people that I know - they took the job and the money and then disappeared. They did finish the job couple weeks later, but till today I don't have an invoice to give to the insurance company as per their admin they don't give one out. So just be careful, I was so in a hurry to dry my home as fast as possible and didn't do a proper job researching this company. I don't want you to make the same mistake."
