The main reason I called this company was that they provide service seven days a week and had excellent reviews. I did not realize (because I didn't read the address carefully enough) that they are located in Ocala, Florida, not Gainesville. Had I paid attention, I would probably have chosen a service closer to where I live, even though this company does provide service in this area. The first technician that came out quoted me a price of $250 to $300 but was unable to do the work at that time because he did not have the wiring with him that was needed. He told me that he would be back on Saturday to do the repairs and would call me to let me know when he would be there. He neither called nor came. I finally called him about 3:00 PM to see if he was coming and he told me "they had sent him on another job," but that he would be here Monday morning. About 10:00 Monday morning he called and told me that, again, "they had sent him on another job." At this point I was more than a little irritated and felt like I was getting a run-around. I called the office and spoke to the person I had first spoken to the previous week and told him that if they didn't want to do the job because I live in a low-lying area and it would be wet and sloppy, I could understand that, but if that was the case just to tell me and I would call someone else. He assured me that was not the case and he would send someone else to see what the situation was. Another technician, Rob, called me and said he was on his way to look at the situation. I told him since the first tech had told him that it was too wet, there was no sense in him driving 40+ miles just to look at it, so he agreed and said he would come the next day, which he did, along with another person and the wiring he needed. He performed the repairs and showed me the wiring that he had to replace, but the price was $500, almost double the original quote. He also told me that I needed to have the rest of the wiring checked and quoted me a price of $2,000 to do that, which I elected not to have this company do. Update: I received a refund check from Willis Electric in the amount of $250 for the difference between the original estimate and the amount I was charged, plus an apology for their "failure to communicate adequately with me and internally." I appreciated the apology almost as much as the refund. As I said in the original review, I don't know that I was overcharged, just that there was a big difference between the original estimate and the final cost. I would also like to add that I don't know how a grade of "F" for professionalism got on my original review. If I somehow hit the wrong button and put it there, it was inadvertent and unintentional and I apologize if any damage was done to their reputation because of it.

Response to my call was very friendly and helpful. The electricians (Sean and Jordan) were able to respond within an hour. The were very professional, and took great care not to damage any of the delicate attachments to the fixture. They expressed their appreciation for the business and I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend the company.

Showed up on time. Had the proper permits and coordinated with local power company to turn off/on in a timely manner. Returned the next day to properly label all the circuit breakers. No problem since the installation.

After calling to let me know he was 10 minutes away, Robert arrived promptly. He listened carefully to how I described the problem and then went to work tackling it. He offered a couple of alternatives on how to fix it and I selected one. He was patient, thorough, personable and clearly knew what he was doing. He found the problem and fixed it. This company is first class and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

The only things I did not like was, they knew this had to be replaced when I called for this service. When they arrived they did not have the box on their truck and had to go to Lowes to get one and come back. The other thing, they came in a beat-up truck and parked in the driveway. When they left there was oil drips on the driveway.

They arrived on time, were very professional and courteous, and left only after cleaning up - no wire insulation fragments, etc. Overall, a superior job.

Everything went very well! Dean and Rob worked hard and efficiently and got it done in less than a day's time. Our cable and internet connections are now working and working very well. They went above and beyond by putting new plates on some of our electrical outlets, they gave us some extra wiring to have in case we needed it for future use, and they installed our cable television before they left.

It went very well. They arrived on time and changed the outlet quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They were great! I would definitely call them again!

They responded within 20 minutes after I placed a request for service. They quickly diagnosed the problem area, fixed it and were gone in about 30 minutes! We will definitely call them again should we have electrical problems. Terry and his 2 crew members were great!

Electrician checked the post for parts. Had to meet with an engineer at another location. Came back within an hour or two and completed repairs. Good quality work.

I was very pleased with their prompt response to my request and the professional manner in which they did the work. They even willingly returned to make an adjustment to the balance on one fan.

The lady who took my call asked someone else about doing the work I requested, which was to install the electric service for my new generator. The same lady said they wouldn't do the work because I already purchased a generator. That's it! No other explanation.

Arrived on time, cleaned after all work was done and were courteous and professional.

He found no problem with any electrical item but he suggested we put a timer on our water heater. He did not have the part on his truck but said he would be back in a couple of days to put one in, as we had told him to do so. He came back and installed the timer and did a very nice job. Our electric bill is now smaller and he only charged us one service charge. I would use him again.

the wire they replaced was broken in three places and the length of a football field. locating the breaks, digging, repairing/ replacing the breaks took quite some time. they kept me informed and did not mind my dogs barking at them. i will us them again.

They arrived on time. Quickly and efficiently did the electrical work in a neat and professional manner. They were substantially less expensive than other electricians. I am totally satisfied.

Smoke detector was giving low battery beep. Replaced battery it still beeped. Called Willis electric, they knew that the detector needed to be replaced. We set the date and time. They came when they were supposed to, took 30 min to do the job. Problem gone.

They are very prompt, very good, and very professional. So far we have had no complaints about them and they have been doing a good job. They had to do some outlets in our house and check them out and do some rewiring. They did a good job. They did a light in the garage and on the wall and some little things.
