Somewhere between two and fours years ago they put it in. Last year they had to come out and put a coil on it. It was outstanding. I have an extended warranty, so it didn't cost me anything.

They have been good and I think that the price was high. I got an extended warranty. They were not upfront about the information. I am okay with it. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He told me what I needed and did not need. It is for preventative maintenance for 1 year. One of the techs just left me a filter for it.

The service has been pretty good. I would recommend them to family and friends.

They installed our A/C unit to our new house and they just came to talk to us about the warranty information. We didn't really buy anything from them. One thing that we didn't like and I don't want to grade or explain is that there is one price if we bought it that day but if we bought it the next day, it was going up in price so we just said no. I'm sure that our brand new house was fine, I don't think I had to warranty the A/C unit because it has 5 year warranty on it. I didn't think that it was worth it for us, we might change our mind next year or 2 years from now but we decided not to do it this year. They know what they were doing.

I am very satisfied. There is no product to rate. The quality of service is fine. They are very competitive in their market in terms of price.

it was Memorial Day weekend and the unit stopped working. we called Sun Kool they found a unit for us and it was installed in 24 hours on a holiday weekend at no extra charge. they are professonial and courteous. We have recommened them to others and have a Service contact with them. They come out twice a year and check the unit. And if we have a problem out they come in a timely manner at no extra cost. I would and have recommened Sun Kool and will continue too

The people at Sun Kool Air Conditioning Inc were good and prompt. They were a good company to work with. They were courteous and clean. I did not have any problems with them. I have used them for the past 5 years.

Sun-Kool was the company our building contractor hired to install our system back in 2003. At that time we bought the extended warranty, which is good until next year. In our 9 years of experience with them they have always responded promptly, completed the work in a timely fashion and left the work area clean. For the most part all of their techs were well groomed, polite, knowledgeable and proficient. We have had a couple of techs that were less capable of explaining things in a clear and tactful manner. We also have had a couple of times where the tech gave us some info that a later tech claimed was erroneous. Fortunately this was never anything very detrimental since these were just basic cleaning staff. We have never felt that the techs that do the actual serious repairs were anything but fully trained. Earlier this year we had to replace the underground drain between the evaporator coils and the outside unit. Unfortunately this was not covered under our warranty. We felt the price was a little on the high side, so we joined the Kool Club, which did save us some money on the drain line repair and pays for two cleanings. I think it also saved us a little bit on the repair we had done today. Over all we are very pleased with Sun Kool and when it comes time for a new unit they will definitely be on our list for the job.

The repair man was nicely dressed and did a good job.

I have been very satisfied with my experiences with Sun Kool. I have a yearly service contract with them. I like that with the service, they have a 24 hour free service to come out and repair your unit if anything goes wrong. They check all of the coolants and the ins and outs of the unit. I will continue to use them in the future.

They said they could do that without any problems. They did it for us and then we were having some problems with it no being set right. We called them back and another person came out from the same company and said it was done wrong. They want another $1000 to fix it, even though it was their fault for doing it wrong in the first place.

They do their job relatively professionally and they do what I need.

I called four or five different contractors and I went with a different company. They came on time and on short notice. They did a good job of coming in to look at it but they didn't have the best bid. We got a 4-ton unit versus a 2 1/2 ton unit. They were clean.

They came out and my mother called me when they left. She was very concerned because they charger her over $1000. I called to find out what the deal was and the actual problem was that they just had to unclog a drain and she joined their maintenance club, which they called "kool club" for $199 a year. Then they charged her over $800 for services such as air duct cleaning which they didn't do and didn't even schedule to do. They did credit it once I called the main number but it should not have happened in the first place.

They came out a couple of times before that. They tried to fix the old unit the first time they came out and it didn't work. The second time I had someone else come and take a look at the unit and he told us that we needed a new one. The third time I had a salesperson come out and he stayed with me pretty much the whole day. It was probably 4 hours, but it felt like a whole day because it was about 100 degrees in my house. He sold us a new unit and he was a really nice guy and I had no problems with him. He answered all the tough questions that I had and I was very happy with that. They came and put the new unit in 4 days later. It was so hot. It was a $6500.00 unit and there was a tax credit because it was one of those energy efficient kinds. It was a really good unit and I was happy with that. They showed up right away when I had the problem. I had someone from the company come out in March and take a look at my unit and put some more Freon and at that time he didn't tell me that we needed a new unit. We just thought that it would fix the problem. In July when it bowed down again, I had another person come out and put more Freon in it. Every time I called they were available if the same day within a couple of hours and that was really helpful especially down here as it's been so hot. The salesperson was great. He was absolutely honest, very friendly, and very helpful. He followed up. He made sure that everything was in correctly and we were happy with the unit. We only got the one estimate and I was happy with the price for the unit that we got. They were able to do it soon. They had to order the product because they didn't have it in stock. Other people had to wait 2 weeks just to have a new unit put in because it was really hot. It was like a week of absolute hell but once it was in it was immediate relief. I don't remember why I chose them in the first place. I think they were able to come out quickly versus other companies. They have a pretty big fleet of service people so that's one reason why they can come out so quickly. I was just happy with the service from the first time that I had them come out in March so I kept going with them. We have a pool which is nice so we lazed around in the pool all the time. It was horrible. I can't say anything about the price because I didn't get any other estimates. I was happy with the price that they offered and the perks that came along with it. Other than the tax credit, they also offered a one year service agreement where they come out at no charge. The unit itself has a 15 year service agreement so I don't have to pay for parts or anything and I was happy with that and it has a new thermostat. It's a big chunk of change. It was a hard decision to make. It was easy to make it at the time. Watching my credit card get charged was hard, but it had to be done.

I have lived in Florida for 15 years and have dealt with several different HVAC companies. Sun Kool A/C, Inc. is by far and away the most professional and accommodating company I have used. Leah Dodge, who scheduled my appointment, is knowledgeable and eager to meet the needs of the customer. The Service Technician, Adam Muniz, was on time, courteous and very proficient. He was quick to answer my questions and offered advice on several programs that Sun Kool offers to protect my HVAC System. I was completely satisfied with the quality of work performed and the cost. I highly recommend this company for any and all HVAC needs in the Central Florida Area.
