Description of Work: Great company, would definitely use them again and I recommend them. Ron, the owner, identified the problem immediately and recommended a solution and implementing the solution right away. He was extremely honest, indicating that part of the reason the window was leaking water into the ceiling below was due to hurricane shutter screws that were installed that needed caulking. he had to try to diagnose the problem which really was not a leaking window and offered to try and fix it. To be fair, since this was not a window issue, siad there could not be any guarantee that what he thought might fix the problem would work but in his best judgement, he thought the caulking would remedy the problem.

+ -1 moreFound RC Windows through Angie List. From start to finish everything was very professional. We had a very large 18 foot window in the living room that water was coming through. My husband tried to caulk it several times on his own but over time it never held. Ron came out provided several options and ended up caulking the entire window outside with a special caulking that is flexible if the house experiences any settling. The real test of his work was two days later we had Hurricane Issaac and experience very heavy rain and not one drop of water came through. Needless to say we are very please with the work that was done and would highly recommend RC Windows.

I called and the appointment was made around my schedule, Ron came, took measurements, fixed a sliding door problem. I gave half the cost up front (total cost $400.00) and paid the rest of the balance when the job was complete. Ron was in and out, cleaned up, there really was no mess to start with. The place looks great. I would recommend the company.
Description of Work: Work was performed 7/20/12 and another date when I was not needed to be at home they (installed screens).

He was very dog tolerant and put them at ease by petting them. I could not believe how easy the door is to open now. It truly is with just a touch of the finger and the door opens. Very knowledgeable and a skilled craftsmen in his trade. Would highly recommend him to anyone who is struggling to open their sliders not to put it off any longer.

+ 1 moreRon was running a little late for my 8:30am appointment but called to let me know and arrived approximately 20 minutes later. When he arrived, he provided me with his business card and apologized for running behind. He was very professional and took the time to show me what needed to be repaired and provided me with an estimate to do the complete job. He took his time to be sure everything worked well after each repair and even gave me some helpful hints on keeping the glass doors operating more efficiently. He was very careful to make sure the carpet was protected and laid a drop cloth down. The entire job took approximately 2.5 hours. Ron was pleasant to speak with and seemed very knowledgeable. I would definitely use Ron again and would recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Replaced the rollers on two very large sliding glass doors and added missing hardware. Also replaced rollers on two screen doors and rescreened the doors as well.

We got about eighty percent of the benefit of window replacement at ten percent of the cost and five percent of the bother.

+ 0 moreThis is the way it is supposed to be - he is an expert, has all the tools and parts on his truck. Outstanding. Done in less than an hour! Cleaned up and gave me his card.
Description of Work: There is no substitute for the skilled professsional. My sliding doors were very difficult to operate. I had tried spray lubrication but to no avail. I called RC WIndows & Doors and they told me what it would cost to repair the doors, and fix the track. They were able to fit me in, and showed up when scheduled. I have 9 dogs and Ron worked with them and they liked him. He cleaned up after and took all materials with him. Now the door opens with just a finger touch!!! I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. It only cost $150 to get each sliding door moving just like new. Well worth the money - no need to replace the jam or replace the door and deal with all the associated repair (stucco, paint, caulk etc.) Ron simple fixed the doors! Call this firm. Honest, Knowledgeable, Professional. Hhighest Marks!

+ 1 moreRon (the owner)showed up precisely on time and replaced the two rollers on my sliding glass door in on-half hour. He showed me that the old rollers were clogged with dog hair (previous owner's dog) and one roller had a missing ball bearing. Ron was polite and give me information about what sprays to use to keep this door and house windows to work efficiently. He was neat and curtious. I highly recommend Ron for this job. My sliding glass door not opens with a finger touch. Thank you Ron.
Description of Work: My sliding glass door was hard to open and close. Although I cleaned and lubricated the door it didn't help much. The doors were original to my house which was buildt in 2000.

The shutters look very nice and they left the areas clean and tidy. Rollers were replaced on the slider which is now much quieter and rolls with little effort. As with our first experience with, Ron, we were very pleased with the work products and his work ethic. He'll be coming in the near future to install more accordions!
