My A/C went out 4 days ago and that is not a comfortable situation. I bought a new thermostat thinking that would solve the problem, it didn't. Saw this special Max-Air Heating & Air Conditioning was running and said I would just go ahead and schedule. To my dismay the order said I would not be contacted until Monday the 13th, but to my delight they called me first thing the next morning and said they could come out today around 10AM if that would work for me. I work about 12 minutes away from home so I told them yes. I arrived at my house at 10:02AM and Bryce was already waiting for me. I told him what my problem was and we proceeded upstairs to look at the unit. He immediately identified the problem and said he would have me up and running in about 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES!!! Bryce worked his magic and I was signing the paperwork and he was out the door by 10:17AM. Now that is service. He was very informative and I learned a great deal from our brief interaction. I would absolutely call them again if I need service. Good job guys. Also, a special thanks to Claudette who called me this morning to set-up the appointment. :-)

Arrived exactly on time. All people with the company were considerate and helpful. Pricing was good and work was completed in a timely manner.

We got next day on time service. He introduced himself and went right to work. He figured out the problem, explained it to us. Very professional. I am glad he is part of our community. I would highly recommend this company.

The repairman was on time, knowledgable about all aspects of our problem and very fast with the repairs. We had some ductwork that needed fixed, some freon put in our system and a new thermostat. Took him no time to finish. Friendly fast service.

This company was superb, responded ASAP, found the problem with the Central Air, and had fair prices. I would highly recommend their services. Since their repairs there have been no additional issues with the air.

These guys are great! They are honest and reputable. I've had them out several times for several different issues/problems. On one weekend problem, occassionally, the air handler on a complicated zoned system would run but no cold air would come out, but this didn't happen consistently. Because the problem couldn't be replicated while the first technician was here, this technician Max Air sent out diagnosed the problem as being a worn out air handler condensation pump (which had a switch to turn off the compressor if the pump reservoir filled up). After waiting a few days for a replacement pump, they installed the new pump but that didn't fix the problem. Another technician was sent out the next day and after hanging around to let the system run for awhile (approximately an hour) to try and get the problem reoccur, the problem was replicated so he determined that the compressor fan motor was going bad (freezing up after running for awhile), so he replaced the compressor fan motor. That fixed the problem. But I had already paid for a new condensation pump (which "they" later determined I didn't need after they took my old one to their shop and checked it out), so they didn't charge me for the new compressor fan motor since I had already paid for the unneeded pump. I think they handled the entire problem with professionalism and honesty. Some problems are hard to diagnose, especially if the problem is inconsistent when it occurs and doesn't occur. I will definitely continue to use Max Air.

It was FABULOUS. Responded in approximately less than an hour. Identified the problem right away and fixed it. Spoke with us regarding upgrading and gave us great ideas and suggestions. Would recommend this company to anybody and if and when we go to purchase a whole new unit, will definitely call this company back.

Price was good, very professional, all details were explained, work was fast and clean up was good. First class operation for a good price. I highly recommend them and I will use in the future if needed.

Called that morning, received bid for work, Max Air checked inventory status on coil, had coil called back and scheduled replacement. Appointment time between 6 and 8 PM, arrived 6:45 and completed work at 8:00pm. Price quoted was honored, recharged system with needed Freon and rechecked system for leaks. Cleaned up area and removed all trash. Very professional and courteous. Strongly recommend calling this company for a bid on repair or replacement of you Heating Cooling system. I called 6 different vendors including the company that installed the unit. Max Air was first to respond with a quote for the work, first to respond with inventory status and they were willing to install that day, after 5;00 and not charge overtime or after hours labor. They also provided the best price and were extremely honest concerning the time the work would take. Predicted no more that 2 hours, and only required 1 hour and15 minutes. the vendor who installed the unit told me that it would take 4-5 hours and two technicians. That was why they had to quote 682.00 dollars. Needless to say I did not use the vendor that installed the unit. Max Air is family owned and operated with honesty and customer concern. Highly Recommend!

Call in the morning of a very hot day, they said they would be at my home before 1PM, they arrived and had me up and running in 20 minutes, Great Service!!!!

They came on time, were professional, polite, efficient and fixed the problem on a Saturday. A/C broke down on Friday; was very pleased they came the next day. Had the A/C up and running within one hour of arrival. Replaced a compressor motor. Very pleased. Will use in the future.

Our old a/c unit quit in the middle of a very hot and humid afternoon. We were afraid we were going to have to buy an entire new unit. They came out the same afternoon and replaced the compressor motor and the capacitor. When the A/C does go, hopefully not too soon, we will definitely call Max-Air first.

I went with them because of the extensive reviews that were posted on Angie's List. I looked at about 15 or 20 reviews; I think there was more than that. Basically all of them said that they were very professional, very courteous, knowledgeable, and that they completed the job to their satisfaction and they arrived on time. That's what most of the other reviews stated, and I would say the same thing. Their price was competitive. The technician after he arrived told me that on Angie's website, it shows a coupon for this particular provider and it infers that the regular rate is $59.95 or something like that for the service call. There is a coupon to print off, which brings it down to $55. I was told by the service rep that all of that is incorrect. They do not have a coupon and their regular service call rate is $55. He said that they had contacted Angie's List, but they never changed it. So there is no coupon involved for them and their service call rate is $55.

They gave us 8-10 am window, he showed up at 8:30ish and went straight to work, was done by 9:30. Fixed the electrical problem that was causing the air conditioner to blow hot instead of cold.

This morning I went to Angie's list [why didn't I do this sooner?] and found Max-Air and called them at 8am. I was told someone would be out between 10am and 12 noon. The young man came out at 9:30 and knew exactly what to do and 30 minutes later was on his way. I am always ready to learn if one gives me advice and I learned what to do to help care for my A/C and heat pump. Although the unit was just installed 7 months ago, I was instructed to change the air filters monthly or as needed but nothing else. This problem was all a matter of a clogged drainage pipe. I called them on 5/23/14 at about 8:00 am as I had no a/c. The dispatcher told me they would be out at about 6:00 pm. I said that would be OK. About an hour later she called back and said they had a service call in my area and would be out at about 11:00 am. They showed up at about 10:00 am, checked out everything and had me running by approximately 1:00 pm. I highly recommend Max - Air for their knowledge and work ethic. I had an earlier experience with another a/c company and was not satisfied with them. JIM L.

They were good. They were punctual, responsive. The guys were very nice.

Price just as promised. Have used them twice now for my annual AC service and very happy. They do an excellent job cleaning an old 1985 unit and they never pressure you to buy a new one.

I found Max-Air on Angie's list and called to schedule a visit for a cost estimate to replace a central residential HVAC system. The visit was scheduled for the next day in a two hour window from 4PM to 6PM. The owner/engineer/technician arrived shortly after 6. Dennis is very knowledgeable and pragmatic in his assessment of HVAC technology and succinct in his recommendations. Max-Air provided a quote 24 hours later that was very competitive with the two other quotes I had received. We selected Max-Air based upon Dennis' experience, no-nonsense approach and what was clearly a fair price for the proposed work. The HVAC system was scheduled for installation 4 business days following my acceptance of the proposal. Dennis and a technician arrived promptly at the appointed time of 9AM and the system install was complete by 2PM. I am not sure that Dennis paused for a moment during the entire 5 hours. The installation is neatly done, removal of the old equipment and clean-up was thorough and the system is working well so far. I believe that Max-Air is an honest and hardworking organization, providing good value for money. They got my new equipment business and will be my service/repair provider going forward.

Dennis was prompt and on time. I all ready knew that the accumuulater was defective. He replaced and charged the unit, R22 was $25 per Pound very profession person. . I had other estimates to do the same work. Coast to Coast determinprice ded that the accumulater was bad and their price was $850 to $1000, their charge was $50 per pound for freon.

Went very well. I called to make an appointment in 3 days. Since the AC was not working at all, a service man was at the house in 30 minutes. I thought the bill would be much higher. I am very pleased and would highly recommend Max Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone.

It went great. We had been told that we needed a new unit that was going to cost us about $6000, but he did a thorough check up and was honest with us. He told us that we did not need a new unit for the moment and showed us how to take better care of our a/c. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I did not catch his name, but I know he was the owner of the company. We would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to everyone.

They coordinated with the tenants for their convenience. They arrived punctually and did an excellent job. They installed a new unit outside, a new unit inside and a new thermostat. Both we and the tenants are very pleased with the job and would highly recommend Max- Air.
