Bryce came out because my A/C unit was leaking water on the floor... He checked the Refrigerant to make sure it was at the proper range, in case it was low and icing up because low refrigerant can have the A/C unit run too cold... I was dead on center for the temp in the house... So he looked at the drain pipe and water was visible at near the top... Solution ... vacuum out the drain line yielded loads of scummy water and a 1/2 cup of white vinegar to reduce the sliming in the future... His recommendation was to throw a 1/2 cup of white vinegar in their each month and vacuum the line out from the outside every three months... (plus take two aspirin and call him in the morning :-)) This should do the trick... He was on time and very professional... and reasonably priced.... We used these guys before for my father in laws house A/C and Heating unit... Bryce was great then too.... Greg

It went great. The technician was early, but my boyfriend was home to let him in for the service. The technician was very friendly and took time to explain the service and potential problems. I was extremely pleased with the service call and the price.

Everything went great. Called for appointment and came the next day, even came 1/2 hour early. Just had maintenance done and system checked out fine. I think the technician was Bryce and he was a very courteous and professional young man and showed me again how to install the filter (just moved here and forgot the procedure) and I thank him for that. Will definitely call them again to check out the gas furnace before the cooler season starts. Would recommend Max-Air to anyone who needs a good air conditioning company.

Bryce explained what he was checking & why. He determined it was a fan motor that was on it's way out. He checked the motor with a meter and advised that I still had some time left on it but the clunking noise would remain without doing harm to the unit. Very professional, efficient and honest. He answered my questions in terms I could understand.

The tech arrived on time. He was neat, well groomed and professional. This was probably a little more difficult than their typical job. Yet he was very thorough including crawling into a hot, dusty attic to check the inside unit. He also checked the thermostat. He answered all of our many questions patiently and competently. And when he learned that we were concerned that the unit was cycling on and off more frequently than in the past, he adjusted the (very old) thermostat and waited a bit to see what would happen. The problem was resolved and there was no additional charge for anything. He advised that both the unit and thermostat were very old but were functioning adequately for now. No need for any additional work or upgrades now.

Initially believed not o have anymore warranty on the unit and inquired for a new heat pump. Christina asked me to provide serial number of unit to check if warranty still applicable. Had scheduled a a service call with Max Air. After checking the Serial number Christina reverted that there was still 3 months warranty on the unit. Service tech Bryce arrived more than punctual before scheduled time frame and checked out the system, found compressor faulty, dismantled unit and got the new compressor out of town and installed it. Bryce was very courteous , professional and efficient. He noted in my presence that the reversing valve acted up and recommended to change it in the near future. Which I did then after Memorial day. I was impressed and humbled by the honesty , fairness and professionalism of the Team of Max Air and Heating. I will use their services again whenever the need arises. Thank You Max Air.

No problems with the company or their service tech. Only concern was that the tech was apparently in training (one year experience) so we are not sure he would have enough experience to recognize HVAC problems or potential problems. We would have preferred a more experienced tech.

Performed everything that they advertised they would. Technician was punctual, professional, and personable. I would definitely use this company again if and when I should need this type of service.

Their quality of work is excellent. They were prompt. As soon as I called them, they made an appointment right away and they came ASAP. They were really good. Their prices are average and fair.

I bought deal from Angie's List on Sunday, they called Monday at 8 A.M. to schedule appt for the following day. They arrived on Tuesday and completed work, unclogged a condensation drain and changed a filter for me. Ed was the service provider. He was polite, prompt, efficient and honest. Didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. You have wond a devoted a customer!

The thing I really liked about them, is I needed someone to come show me how to change the filter and check the ducts after I already had the furnace replaced. They were very nice on the phone and so nice when they came out. I really thought they would charge me for coming out, but reassured me there was no charge and were here to help me.

The technician did a great job. He repaired the unit and made sure everything was working properly. I would use them again.

It went very well. in fact he offered advice for near future on possible better solutions if necessary. Mr Messer was kind, responsive to my questions and willing to explore concerns i had. Both he and his tech were courteous the whole time. i was lucky enough it was a simple fix, however he even gave me a very reasonable quote on a new system since mine is near the age of its life cycle.I will most definitely give them a call when i am ready for that, he has me as a loyal costumer from here on out, guaranteed.

Promptly responded to my email, which I sent late on Friday. By Saturday morning they had responded and set up a visit for first thing Monday morning. Tech arrived promptly and said he had to check my thermostat. I've had a few other companies over the years and none of them checked the thermostat first. He then checked the unit and brought me the malfunctioning part and advised I just owed for the part as I had purchased the deal. I am very, very impressed and pleased with this company and recommend them to anyone who needs a/c diagnosis and repair. I know I would never call anyone else in the future.

I had a very good experience with them. They came out on time. They did the work in a quick manner. I've used other air conditioning folks before, and they did a good job. They had the part I needed. He was told what to bring out and they brought it out and installed it. They gave me some ideas. They're a good company.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They came out in a timely maner and arrived when they said they would be here and surveyed the problem and gave us options. We decided to go for a new system because of the age of the existing one. They were here the next morning and pulled out the old unit and installed a new high efficency A/C unit. They had it finished in just 4 1/2 hours. The service personnel were friendly and very courteous. They cleaned up all the debris and left the work area clean when they finished. They gave us a 750.00 credit for a compressor that was installed last May and was still covered under warenty. They were honost and treated us fairly. I wound reccomend them to all my friends.

My friends had just arrived from up north to spend the winter in my neighbors house. Four days after just settling in, it got cold and when they tried to start the heat, it wouldn't come on. When they came to us to ask how to get help, I gave them Max-Air phone number as we have been so happy with their service. They came within 45 minutes, and diagnosed the unit needing a valve that they didn't have in stock and was quite expensive. Since my friends didn't own the house, they had to wait for warranties to be checked, parts to be ordered, and the owner to get involved. Sooo, we loaned them a small heater to take the chill off as it was 60 high and 36 low for the next 6 days. Unexpectedly, the next day, Max-Air was back with a used valve that could be installed temporarily until a the details could be coordinated. The heats on and my friends are so impressed. They never had a company care enough to make the family comfortable on a temporary basis. Thank you Max-Air ! ! ! That was a really considerate and wonderful thing to do. I believe you really know what it's like to be in trouble and need help QUICK.

Max-Air totally surprised me. They gave me a bid that seemed right on what I expected to pay. Showed up on time. Included 1 more man than I had thought they would, realizing the job wouldn't be all that easy. Coordinated the job with the electricians. Installed new copper lines, brought all necessary supplies (no running out for forgotten parts). Sealed attic air leaks in all joints (hard job in a 36: height attic). Installed new vent in living room Our property was totally cleaned up. They all came with a can do attitude and never once made us feel like we asked too much of them. When we have any problems in the future, I will call them back. I just couldn't be any happier with the integrity of this company.
