Description of Work: Service call - Heat not working. Bryce found that a piece of solder from the original install (different company) had come loose and was interfering with units ability to generate heat. After it was removed the heating worked very well.

Description of Work: Checked out my a/c units and showed me why they weren't turning on. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Very knowledgable and helpful. Very pleased. Thank you. I will only use them when it's time to update.

Description of Work: I manage a property for a couple that live in Canada, their house was having issues with their A/C unit. I called a number of companies and explained that I would need to find out what needed to be fixed and the cost so that I could call the coouple in Canada and get their permission for the repair. Max air was the only one that would come out and give an estimate for free and then also wait for payment because it was coming from Canada. This company is the best one around. I will only use Max-air for all my heating and air issues for both my home and the property I manage. I have also referred this company to 2 co-workers and both of them were very happy if their service and price.

Description of Work: We just moved here and purchased a home that was built in 2003 but received little preventive maintenance from the previous owners. We thought the HVAC/Heat Pump system needed servicing since the circuit breaker kept tripping off and the thermostat displayed an error code. The HVAC/Heat Pump system checked out OK by MAX-AIR. They stepped me through the actual stages of operation to see first hand that the nominal electrical draw was not the problem. They said that the problem was caused by a defective thermostat.

Description of Work: Two pipes rubbed together and all the frion leaked out in one of the pipes of the air conditoning. He came out and he found the trouble in the air conditioning right away.

September of 2010 - A mr. ron white and another gentleman came to my house-checked out my a.c unit and was told a part (can't remember what part) may be going , however, was told it could last for weeks or years and up to me -if i wanted it to be replaced. to be on the safe side -I had it replaced and they also checked out my gas furnace and cleaned the filter. Mr Ron White saw my living room was sticking and hard to open. He asked me for a few nails and hampered down the bottom , which was bucking and this solved the problem-he was so kind and he went out of his way and fixed my door . This call was approxiately $80.00 - a fair price. June 6, 2011 - I called for service (annual checkup) Mr. Ron White checked out my a.c. unit and gas furnace and cleaned the filer -all checked out okay -He is a very pleasant man -Price $49.95
