Punctual, professional and efficient.

It was okay and he did a good job. He came but he didn’t really do that much. We were surprised that he didn’t recommend replacing the garage door opener because we did just replace that recently. The technician was fine. The scheduling was fine, and he completed the job in a timely manner.

Brain was very professional, fast and friendly. He located the problem and fixed it. He made other observations but was not pushy in selling the products. He told us what was causing our problem and what we could expect in the future. He gave us the option of fixing the problem at that time or waiting. We chose to fix it and take the sale price offered rather than waiting. We are very happy with the outcome.

We were completely satisfied with the service would use them again.

They did an excellent job in a very timely manner.

However, I still had problems opening the garage door. Discount Garage Doors came out and replaced the capacitor. The company provided a warranty for one year which it honored. I had no charges for the second visit.

I understand that emergencies do occur but I would expect the provider to notify me if the tech is going to be late. As it was I was in a rush to go to an appt but had to wait until the tech arrived. I called the company and they had to run him down to see where he was and when he would arrive. Once he started there was no doubt that he knew what he was doing. He proceeded to perform the work making a couple of suggestions which I accepted. He moved quickly through the maintenance, cleaned the area. I had no issues with the work performed once he arrived but I suggest that the company set up procedures for techs to check in and notify the purchaser when he is to be late and if too late they offer a reschedule.

On July 11, 2009 they replaced the LiftMaster Operator. It has worked fine ever since. I would definitely recommend this company. | |(The date in the auto answer report field was the earliest date available to report.)

Brian is a competent technician but he failed to fully explain the job cost. I failed to analyze his quote and agreed to pay the total. The next day I called Linda, the customer service manager to complain about the high price for the torsion springs ( $378 +$115 labor + $70.03 misc. fee) $563.03 total. She directed me to read the low contrast print on the back of the quote. I realized I had been had and hung up. I did however read the back and could not discover where the extra $70.03 came from and that the hourly rate was given as $85. but on front it's $115. I figured no matter how you compute the cost, $563.03 is way too much for torsion springs that cost $50 -$60 ea. at Home Depot or Lowes. Over the phone I had agreed to pay $439. for the garage door opener, the price included installation. I asked for the cost of torsion springs as one of mine was broken, and was told $98. ea. and incorrectly assumed it included installation because of the high cost. Found out later that $98 is just their lowest cost spring. Their quote sheet gives a $148 to $238 price spread for each spring I finally did what I should have done in the first place, get another bid. I called another garage door company, a family run business of 40 plus years here in Ocala. Their price to install two torsion springs of the size I needed, including labor and overall system check is under $300. Caveat emptor

Technician David did a great job. I would not hesitate calling them again. I'm glad I have found a garage door business I could trust. Thanks David for your honesty on the repairs. I'ts been six years since my repairs and all repairs are working great. Give them a call you will not be disappointed.

Roger did a 21-point safety and service inspection which included such things as: checked the door balance, springs, torsion drums, torsion bearings rollers, and hinges to name a few. The BIG DEAL called for replacement of one full set of garage door rollers, but he said the existing rollers were better than the ones he would replace so he didn't replace them but rather offered me a 10% discount for future repairs. Before leaving, he gave me a check list of things that were in good condition plus a list of things that he recommended I repair in the future. He oiled the hinges.

The technician was very professional. I just think the service was very expensive from a 'discount' company. The final price was higher than the original quote. A spring had broken on the door mechanism; the technician replaced both springs, greased the various connections, adjusted the automatic door opener. It is difficult to assess the quality of work, other than to say the door is still functioning properly. If it needs work done again, I would try to get other estimates, rather than being lured by a 'discount' name.

lebrian was early and knew his job well.he found the reason the cable snapped and i think he fixed it. the only problem i have w/ them is their price per hour. ($115?) and something that they call "door reset charge-$285" whats that?

NEW PARTS WERE NOT NEEDED WAS CHARGED FOR PART TAKEN OFF WHEN IT PERFORMED FINE WAS TOLD COULD NOT HAVE PART RETURNED===WAS TOLD IT HAD BEEN DESTROYED === LATER TOLD NEED TO REPLACE UNIT WITH NEW TOTAL UNIT NEW UNIT WORKS FINE BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LESS COSTLY TO GET A NEW UNIT AT HOME DEPOT

Didn't have the parts to repair garage door.

The installer arrived and began work on replacing the previously existing door with a new garage door. It was necessary for him to depart once due to forgetting some essential tools. He completed the work in approximately 8 hrs.

these guys wanted to sell me just about a whole new door instead of replace a simple spring. Said they could not replace just one (not true) and wanted to sell me a "25 year spring with guarantee" Springs are sold by revolutions not years! bad, bad, bad

They were very good. They worked quickly and I have had no trouble with the door since. Their prices were better than any other company I checked with.

They came right out and even did a little bit of extra work for me on the runners. I was satisfied and the door works.

By the time I was done, I had spent $380, and was told later that I could have put a whole new system for less than that.

Overall we were happy with the service. We had a sensor go out on the garage door preventing it from being closed automatically. The technician had an old sensor in his truck that he gave us and did not charge us for it. He stated that if it stopped working then we would have to buy new garage door opening mechanism which costs about 500.00. He only charged us for the service call. I would use this company again.

These techs must be on commission - not in itself a bad thing - but if a company can't even give you a ball park idea about the cost to replace the bottom door seal rubber on 7 garage doors - I'm not wasting my time having them come out here. Door seal rubber should be somewhere between $1.50 & $2.00 a foot - I called someone else.
