Very low quality work, none of the bolts were tightened down all the way, the door was crooked and the coil kept coming off making the door fall. The company has refused to make things right, and outright lied that they would reimburse $500 refund to get it fixed. They refuse to answer our calls or come service their terrible work.

Technician call en-route and arrived on time. He assessed and clearly explained the issues, and came up with 3 various options for me. Clear and concise, work was well done.

Randy the technician was very professional, polite and very helpful The price for 10 rollers and lubrications was totally ridiculous. He wasn’t here for an hour. The price was 383.15.Not happy I was not going to argue with tech. I will never deal with them again

Looks like an amateur replacement job using mismatched parts. One of the two springs broke leaving our cars trapped in the garage. I couldn’t find a same day replacement so I went with this highly rated service. I generally will not use a company for emergency service that won’t give a ballpark cost. I don’t appreciate “we’ll give you a quote when we get there” because at that point it is very difficult to say no and start over. Technician arrived on time, wasn’t wearing a mask when he came within 6 feet. Had a cough he blamed on allergies. Lost a couple of stars for that. After the work was completed, I was very surprised and disappointed that we now had three garage springs instead of two, had a new a 2x8 piece of wood bolted onto our garage wall. The tech said he didn’t have the right springs “on the truck” so he had to make do with what he had. There was no consultation with us before he did the work. When we make repairs to our house we upgrade from original and don’t settle “for making do with what’s on the truck”. We now have two springs that are smaller than the original and a third that is smaller yet. Even after I paint the new piece of wood, the door looks like it was an amateur replacement job using mismatched parts. I sent a message through the company’s website a week ago and haven’t received a reply.

Very good job was done quickly, neatly and throughly. The installer went over everything with me to explain the new system, gave me the manual and let me ask questions.

After waiting two days to get it replaced it finally is done.

The worker reported me to DCFS because my house wasn’t picked up to his liking. Apparently he doesn’t have kids. And don’t tell me those reports are anonymous. He’s the only one who been out to my house and next day DCFS is knocking on my door about what my house looks like according to report

Raymond (the technician) was very professional and courteous. He arrived when he said he would. He waisted no time to get the job done. Everything went like clockwork. When Raymond was done he cleaned up everything and took the time to explain the operation. The unites he recommended was spot on. DGD is a family owned and operated company and well worth the time and effort. We highly recommend this company for its quality and professionalism.

My garage door spring snapped. Called out DGD. He had it up and running in about an hour. He even fixed the issue of my garage door not closing automatically that had been plaguing me for a while, that I forgot to mention to him. I definitely recommend. Great service, on time and professional.

We scheduled them to come out today on 7/20, between 1 and 4 pm. Haley called at 1:40 pm and said the technician had something come up and wanted to reschedule on 7/24. She initially had no knowledge of Angie's List or any of their promotions and said she was new. We accepted the appointment but found someone else to come out that same day, 7/20 and we will not be hiring them again.

Our Garage Door hit an object and caused the side cable to un spool then become wrapped around a bar. It was no longer possible to fix it without a Professional doing it. Our repair man came out and said this happens a lot and said he could fix it. It did not take him too long and he had it up and running again.

So far, so good but rep did not guarantee work, did not know how long it'd last . I really need new garage door opener but can't afford right now.

They were wonderful. Came the next day to assess the damage and told us, as we had surmised, that it could not be repaired. (Garage doors don't do well when your foot slips off the brake.) That was a Friday and by Monday afternoon we had a brand new door quickly and professionally installed. Very highly recommend DGD.

I first hired Discount Garage Door, Inc after another Garage Door company when my mother called them as her remote was not working charged her $85 for a remote control that turned out to be used. after several calls and sleepless nights as she was finding her garage door open in the middle of the night this seedy repair guy finally showed back up discounted the panel from her wall; hanging wires in garage and putting in more old rusty parts for which he intimated my 89 yo mother into paying more money and it did not solved the problem. This should never happen to any senior citizen. To that I could not be happier when Discount Garage Door Inc. The level of service that they provided my Mom was outstanding. The technician that came to her house that evening was outstanding going above an beyond. He even got on the phone called me and I live in S. FL explained exactly what the other company had done. She was over the moon happy. She was so happy with their service she decided to upgrade her garage door which was original when house was built in 92 to hurricane proof door. Once again, the service throughout the entire process could not have gone smoother. Thank you for job well done!!!
