I called them to set up an appointment, and they said they did service my area. Then, after being on hold again, they came back and said they did not service my area. So, as far as I can tell, this company does not know what it is doing. Hence, they get an "F" in my book!

Amazing. Saturday morning at 11:00 came home and door would not open. Looked on Angies list and called DGD, was worried no one else could come out on Saturday and my car was a hostage in the garage. They said the tchncould come out between noon and 3:00, Justin called at noon and was here by 12:15. He gave me the options of minimal repair, medium and full repair to the aging hardware. Agreed to full repair and 60 minutes later he was done and it looks and sounds like a new door.

A few years ago I first called them for a broken spring. They offered me a lifetime warranty. Expensive but they talked me into it. At first I felt like they got me. Waste of money right? A few years later another spring broke. I called them expecting the typical runaround and explanations about why for some odd reason this was not covered as part of the warranty. Nope. They came a fixed it immediately. Zero cost! They explained that the "lifetime" warranty I purchased is no longer available, but that they will still honor mine. A cable broke a year or so later and they still replaced it for zero cost to me. They could have easily tried to talk their way out of it or give me the runaround until I was too tired to fight but they did not. They stood by their commitment. You don't see that much any more. So when the door operator/opener broke (not covered by the lifetime warranty I bought for the door) I bought a new one from them and had them install it. By standing by their word they have earned my loyalty. Besides that they do good work and are fast and reasonably priced.

Great service. Even though parts were no longer available, he was able to fix the garage door opener with out installing a new one. Saving me a lot of money

We needed the springs replaced on our 1970's garage door. The serviceman came and I asked him to give me a price to fix it and to replace the whole door. He gave me an estimate of over $500 to replace the springs or over $1,000 to replace the whole door. I told him I have to talk to my husband when he comes home from work and he said to me "well, can't you call him now?" I told him no, he's on the road, but he asked me again and again I said no, I can't call him. He was so pushy that I looked for another company here on Angie's list and I found K C Garage doors, who gave me a price to replace the springs for $140 or replace the door for $640! I went with them and had a new door the next day.

As expected for a single female to hear, there were maintenance issues that needed to be resolved immediately, and to take advantage of the discount, I needed to make the decision to resolve the items and have the work done that day. Here's the thing: the worker did NOT act like a used-car salesman trying to take advantage of the homeowner. He worked with me to figure out what the true, immediate risk items were, and we figured out what really should be fixed that day. Final cost was just under $500 and I have the peace of mind knowing the 35-yr-old, rusted stuff isn't going to "go" and block me in my garage some random day...additional items can be put in my budget in the future. It was a reasonable day for the garage! I'm glad the worker was able to make it work out. I appreciate his time figuring a way to get just the basics taken care of for me when I couldn't afford the larger fixes on the spur of the moment. It was a relief to have a worker who "got it" when I said the larger fixes couldn't be a priority right now. Also: the dispatcher communicated with me when the worker was held up at a previous job and was going to arrive at the tail end of the appointment window, and then would arrive outside of the appointment window. I had the option of re-scheduling because the worker was detained/arriving outside the appointment window. Good communication/options.

They did a lousy job. the garage door is not straight. One side closes and the other side don't. and he over charged me

It has been over a month since my door was installed - Still waiting for the company to complete the door. I rep was at my home over a month ago, told me someone who be out the following Monday to complete the door, NO SHOW. I called and Christy was supposed to return my call - no return call. A very expensive door - but very poor follow up. : (

Called early Saturday morning was told they would have someone out to Morriston between 11 and 2 . Office called back close to 11 because he was delayed at a prior stop, which was fine with me since we'd be home all day and we needed to get it fixed since the door would not go up all the way he arrived shortly after 2 and found the issue. 10 year old openers motor was bad since the home builder had installed a 1/2hp unit when it should have been a3/4 hp motor Technician (Trevor was a nice guy and explained everything to my wife and I and answered our many questions before we authorized the work, he also told us what it would cost to help us decide. We also asked about how noisy the door was after inspecting the rollers and spring were the cause of the squeaking.We decided to replace the opener and rollers and delay the spring to a later date,he gave us a price for the spring replacement and wrote it on the receipt so we had it for the future.

They came out and worked through some issues with the ceiling fan to get the door work completed. I appreciated all of his time and effort to make sure that I was happy and that the door would clear the fan.

Con: I almost rated the cost as a "B" since I felt it was on the high side of what evaluation web-sites estimated. Given I would receive a 10% discount as an Angie's Club member, I selected a bit more work then I first wanted. The "I got'cha" occured when "YES" I received a discount, but when the final total was written, there was a $35.49 "FUEL/MISC" charge which offset the discount. Hmmmmm? (I gave DGD an "A" anyway). PROS: Travis (service tech) was professional, skilled and personable. Upon completing his initial review he gave me several options regarding the minimum and optional work required. Once agreed, he promptly handled what was needed. Like other reviews, though he was late arriving due to other jobs, the office called several times to keep me informed.

Great. Would recommend them to everyone

Repairman explained everything thoroughly, answered my questions, and gave me options. Repairman arrived significantly later than scheduled due to length of work needed at appointments scheduled ahead of me. However office phoned me repeatedly to keep me apprised of delays and offered to reschedule if that was my preference.

Justin was the person that fixed the garage door for us. He was very courteous, professional, explained everything he felt that was needed along with pricing, and left decision in our hands, with no pressure. Really appreciated his manner and professional knowledge.

So far, the service was good. They were helpful. It cost $99. It was an Angie’s List Deal. I thought it was a combination of service and marketing.

The technician was very knowledgeable and professional, on time, completed the job in a timely manner, and cleaned up after himself. He also explained what I should expect and plan for regarding future service, approximately when, and why.

They replaced the broken single spring with two springs. they replaced the two cables also all the guide rollers. instead of using a cotter pin at the end of the cable they used a heavy steel wire. which kept catching on the track making a grinding clunk sound. this finally caught and tore up the operator gear. I called them, but they could not say it would not cost me anything so not wanting to pay them any more money I called another company and they came out and replaced the gear and replaced the steel wire with cotter pins. cost 100 dollars and working perfectly.

The service re Grant was superb. Very friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. This was a great representation of how business should be performed by all companies. Thanks for the quick service.
