Young Home Inspections

The home inspection was scheduled and performed quickly, which is a must when in the middle of negotiations. I spoke with Christy several times and she was amazingly helpful, and friendly, each time. Brian performed the inspection, which was thorough. Included pictures and descriptions of the issues found with the property. He later made time to call me and elaborate even further on the issues found and how I might go about getting them addressed. I would definitely recommend them.

Bryan with Young Home Inspections was wonderful. He was very detailed and even worked on the weekend after we had to cancel last minute and reschedule. He took time to explain everything and provided a complete report within hours. I would highly recommend them and use them again in the future!

In looking for a full home inspection for a house we were buying in the Brooksville area, we researched several companies, and Young Home Inspection was my first choice since they already had such great reviews on Angie List, and also because Christine, one of the wonderful owners I spoke to on the phone, had been so helpful in answering all my questions and seemed to offer a great service. I have to thank Young inspection so much for kindly and voluntarily going out of their way to accommodate a very short notice Saturday inspection date to accommodate our seller’s request, and because I was in town for such a short period of time. I did not expect her to be able to accommodate me at all, but she went above and beyond, and finally found someone who would be able to do it. When I asked who it was, she told me it was her own husband, Brian, who had been extremely busy for several weeks including weekends and who was hoping to be off schedule that coming weekend. I felt terrible, but also so relieved and grateful about it, so I can’t thank Christine and Brian enough for extending themselves personally for me. Add to that, Brian was a Certified Building Contractor, and had experience and knowledge about a few other related fields which were very helpful to me during the inspection in what he was able to pass on in the way of information and suggestions. I was not surprised that he was just as professional and friendly and Christine, as well as thorough, diligent, and knowledgeable during the inspection. Brian was also able to give me our report by the next day (Sunday), although I did not expect a report till Monday, so I was very happy and surprised by that. The report had many pictures, and was very thorough and organized, which I appreciated. I can fully understand the great reviews people give them, and my realtor also agreed and asked for his information as well. I felt they were one of the best inspection companies I have personally used, as well trustworthy and honest, and would recommend them to anyone! Not sure if it was a bad roof or what. The inspector showed up today, on time, did a thorough inspection, inside and out and looked at a couple of things not initially requested and left us assured of what the problems were and how to fix them. Very nice and honest company to work with.

Christy, Brandon and the crew at Young Home Inspections are amazing!!!! My husband and I are in the process of buying our first home and I was so nervous about the inspection. After calling around to 10, yes 10, different inspection companies, I found Young Home Inspections! I talked with Christy and she was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and eased my nerves about the inspection. She was able to book an appointment right away and on the day I wanted it! Our new home is older, 1926 older, so I wanted someone with experience in that time frame. Brandon was perfect for the job! He arrived early and was so professional. Right away he asked what my concerns are and answered all of my questions. I had confidence he would do an amazing job, and he did! He was through, knowledgeable and explained what he found. I received my report the very next day! The report was organized and detailed. For the biggest investment of our life, I was so happy about that! My initial phone call to Youngs resulted in setting a mutually agreeable date and time for my home inspection. The call was informative and speaking to Christy was a delight. She is the epitome of great customer service! The inspection was performed by Brian and was scheduled for 10:00 am. When we arrived, Brian was already performing the inspection. He reviewed the details of what he had uncovered earlier. He was very proficient and thoroughly explained several issues he had found, in language that I could understand. I have had four home inspections on various properties over the past few years and this inspection was, by far, the best one that I have had. Several hours after the inspection, I received a very well detailed report with images. I was also advised that if I had any questions that I could call them at any time.

I honestly can't praise this company enough. I had an amazing experience with all involved literally from the very start to the very end. They are a lifesaver and the price absolutely can not be beat and if it can then you better definitely do your homework and make 100% sure your making the right decision. I have used this company 2 times now.. the first time, their findings led me to release a house I had under contract as there were some very costly repairs that would need to be done. The second time I used them, we took the house to closing. They were acceptionally accomodating and worked me into their schedule on very short notice. They arrived on time, were extremely professional, informative, and thorough. I would recommend them to anyone!

These guys are fabulous! Not only do they deliver a stellar product with a comprehensive report, but they communicate very well (which can be hard to find). The inspection is very thorough and was explained in laymen terms before he left so we really knew what we were up against, even before we received the report the next day (as promised). Found them on Angie's list and used a coupon for $25 off. Worth every penny for such an important piece of a home purchase (even without the discount). I highly recommend them for home inspections!

Great! I was able to easily schedule the inspection, the inspector arrived as schedule and was friendly and easy to work with. He gave me a summary as he left and explained his findings. The report came as promised.

Everything went very smoothly. The inspector was thorough, going on the roof and into the attic. He went over his findings the same day. We received a detailed report the next day. The fee seemed fair but to be honest, we went with them based on a friend’s recommendation as well as Angie’s list and have no comparison for fees.

Awesome service, would definitely recommend! We recently utilized Young Home Inspections for a pre-drywall inspection of our new construction home. In addition to the standard inspection we had some specific target areas of the home where we needed an independent professional opinion due to hurricane irma damage. Christine was exceptional! She was flexible with scheduling even when we did not receive much advance notice from our builder, her communications were stellar responding promptly after hours and on weekends, answered all of our questions (which is saying alot since we are new home buyers), and after the inspection she continued to follow-up with us answering questions and offering advice and assistance as we worked with our builder to address items identified in the report. Brandon was our inspector. He was fantastic, punctual, professional, very friendly and easy to talk to, again answered our questions and explained his findings and recommendations. Additionally, we received a detailed inspection report with photos within 24 hours. For their reports they us an online delivery service which worked great. Overall, we cannot say enough about Christy, Brandon, and Young Home Inspections. We will definitely use their services again.
