Christy took the call and scheduled Brian who made the inspection a few days later. Brian arrived on time and completed a thorough inspection taking his time to point out things. He was not rushed and was very patient answering our questions and insuring we understood technical issues. Brian is an expert and does a great job working with clients. He is a true professional and a pleasure to have working for you. I called Christy three times for recommendations and advice after the inspection was completed and the bill had been paid. On all three occasions she treated me like a friend and went above and beyond to assist me. It was a pleasure chatting with her. After inspection support was fantastic. I can's say enough about the extraudinary service I received from this company. Christy and Brian are the best and I highly recommend using Young Home Inspections.

Brandon lived up to his stellar reputation and Christy was extremely helpful and responded almost immediately when I made my initial inquiry. Brandon was courteous, professional, and very friendly. He was even patient when we found out that the current homeowner had turned off the water and Clearwater Water had to be called to come out and turn it back on again. Needless to say, the property manager, the agent showing the property and I were all shocked to learn the water was locked and the owner had prematurely finalized the service. Once back on, Brandon discovered the plumbing had leaks in 2 places! I am grateful for all those I came in contact with at Young's. If the need for an inspection presents itself in the future...I know exactly who I am calling and suggest everyone else does the same!

This service was prompt, professional, and thorough. I had a tight timeline when I looked for someone on Angies List. I found this company, called them, and they immediately scheduled an inspection for a date 5 days from the time I called them. The builder wanted to see advance documentation of licensing and insurance. My request for those documents was immediately addressed by Christy. I thought the inspection was professional and extremely thorough. The price was very fair for the time it took to look over the house. I think the whole inspection took approx 3 hours. Do I believe anything was missed? Yes - it is possible. But to catch every possible detail the inspection would need to be 100 hours. There has to be some kind of tradeoff. Time vs cost. For the money involved it was an excellent deal. The inspection produced a laundry list of details for the builder to address. Even though it is a new house I am glad I took the step of having an inspection. And I would use this company again in the future.

Scheduling was easy - remember to mention Angie's List referral. Inspector (Brandon) was on time and very though in his work. Brandon would list any areas of concern and has a detailed checklist for the entire property (inside and out). The report is available electronically and includes pictures, details and descriptions.

Called Young Home Inspections and was greeted by Kristy who was super friendly and knowledgeable and had me scheduled for a home inspection within two days. Brandon was my inspector and he was extremely friendly and personable. Throughout the entire inspection he provided me with great information and details about my report and my home. Overall the process was quick and easy and I'm glad that I chose this company. Will be scheduling them again for family members in the near future. Thank you guys!

The appointment was rapidly scheduled. The inspector was prompt and thorough. He took the time to explain in detail the issues that he found. I was provided a complete inspection report with pictures and notes within 24 hours. I felt confidence in the knowledge level and thoroughness of the inspector. We put an offer on a house in Bradenton and needed an inspection right away as we had to head back to NY in less than a week. Called/emailed a number of companies, and Christy responded right away to my email (many companies didn't respond at all, or took many days to respond). She was professional and personable, and got us set up with an appointment right away. Brandon was our inspector, and he was fantastic - very thorough and explained what he found to my husband who was there during the inspection and was so impressed at what a great job Brandon did (my husband is and electrical engineer and quite handy, so he recognizes someone who really knows what they're doing in this area!) They also coordinated the termite inspection with a reputable company as part of the package, so we didn't need to worry about scheduling that separately ourselves. We got the reports right away and were able to proceed with buying the home, after making sure some of the issues that Brandon discovered were taken care of by the current homeowner. So happy we found Young Inspections on Angie's list and would absolutely recommend them!

If I could type this in bold, electric blue font, I would because this is a glowing review! As stated, we hired Brian Perry, who is a licensed and certified Building Contractor, to inspect a home we are purchasing. Brian is, by far, the best inspector we have ever hired - and this wasn't our first rodeo. The price of the inspection was very fair since it was a ~4,000 square foot home with two 2-car garages and a pool/spa. The inspections were worth every penny. Brian spent over 4 hours inspecting every nook and cranny of the home. He arrived early and left no stone unturned. He checked so many things inside and outside of the house - too many things to list! We were emailed a very comprehensive inspection results report that same evening with detailed explanations of what needs fixing along with accompanying photos. At our request, Brian was also kind enough to email us all the "extra" photos that he did not paste into the inspection report. Overall, we were extremely pleased with Brian's work as he was very thorough and he answered all our questions while performing the inspection. We especially appreciate Brian because he was not only very knowledgeable, but he was very approachable. He welcomed our questions and gave us great advice. We appreciate that Brian was looking out for our best interest, as the buyers, and not concerned with what the listing agent, who was present at the tail end of the inspection, would think. He recapped, for us all, what needs repair. We are very happy to have hired Brian because he made us aware of so many things. We trust Brian's findings and recommendations and we will gladly hire him for future inspections!

Brandon was my home inspector and he was wonderful, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, the list goes on. He was thorough with his inspection and taking the time to explain his finding to me, and answer all my questions, and emailed me my results the next day. Pleasant and experience even which Christina in the office, she was very quick to reach out to me and schedule an appointment. The whole process took less then 4 days. Would use them again and highly recommend them.

Brian was early, checked the entire outside and inside of home.

We were from out of state and had no idea with whom to trust. Our realtor said he could get one of "his" trusted people to do a home inspection for us. I just was not comfortable with his answers and timeliness of those answers. He told me they really did not even use Angie's list in that area. Well some of us do. Angie's list provided me with a fabulous home inspector. Christina was great to work with on setting it up. She went out of her way to coordinate with us and our realtor. Her husband, did our inspection. Due to the information provided on the inspection, we decided to pass on the house. The inspector explained everything to us showing us exactly what he was talking about in his report. We were able to make informed decisions. I wished I had used Angie's list in selecting that realtor. We ended up choosing a different realtor to pursue other properties.

I had contracted Young Home Inspection two times for Clearwater/Largo townhouses (1st inspection found too many issues, including a nosy and potentially problematic neighbor, so the purchase was dropped). The office manager Christy was great with answering questions, scheduling and follow-up. Brian had conducted the inspection for both properties and was personable, on time, took his time and was thorough. He reviewed his findings and made suggestions on how best to remediate several issues that were found. Additionally, both termite companies Christy had obtained satisfactorily performed their inspections.

Home Inspector performed a very thorough home inspection of the property and was not afraid to get his hands (and pants) dirty in order to get into everything. Very professional and knowledgable.

They did a thorough job. The report is very detailed, and you can cursor over the photos to enlarge them. It seems they covered everything, more than the usual report ? in my opinion. He explained everything to us, which all show in the report exactly. Overall, I liked him, thought he was professional and did a thorough job, and the report is a good format.

I moved the house on October 23rd, the closing was on the 20th. I regret not to have follow the inspector everywhere in the house. So far, I discover that four windows are broken, they will not close because the sliders on the sides of the windows do not hold. I contacted Christine and she had the inspector calling me, which was totally useless. They decided that they have done their work claiming there was furniture in front of those windows. In two bedrooms, there was no furniture, I am sure. The house had very little furniture in those two guest bedrooms. In fact, I purchased one of the bedroom's furniture and there was no furniture standing in front of this window. So now I have to have at least four windows to fix for $100 a piece. I do not dare to open any other ones, I might be not able to close them...

Did a very thorough job, explained every finding and provided an excellent report. Very knowledgeable.

From our very first contact with Christy to the receipt of our report the SAME DAY, we felt comfortable and confident that the service would be done professionally. Although we had purchased a home inspection deal through Angie's List, Christy gave advice on other inspections that would potentially save us money on our house insurance. We appreciated her advice and the fact that there was no hard sell to add on a Wind Mitigation and 4 Point Insurance inspections. Since we were unable to be at the house when the inspection was done, Christy corresponded with our real estate agent to set up the inspection, kept him in the communication loop, and ensured all of us were on the same page. Bought a special posted here on Angie's list. Spoke to Christie to get things scheduled and add some additional services onto the order. The company is very responsive. I never had to wait more than a few hours for a response to my emails. Was great that they gave me a heads up about the additional insurance inspections I'd be needing and then offered a discount on those services. The cost savings Young Home Inspections was able to provide over the Realtor and Insurance company's recommended providers was significant ($400+ dollars in savings!). The inspector arrived early and was very personable. I would definitely use this company again.

The scheduling over phone was friendly and they were able to get me an appointment very quickly. They arrived early, were fully equipped to do all the tasks. They were professional in dress and behavior. They were very informative, accommodating, and thorough. The final report was comprehensive and professionally done. The inspector, Brandon, did the four-point inspection on our older home and went above and beyond by paying attention to every detail. He was extremely knowledgable and answered all of questions. They not only had exceptional reviews but they even had a coupon I could use. I called and spoke to Christine. What a pleasure to deal with. She was so professional and friendly and assured me that they would take care of our needs. We were able to get our inspection done on the exact date and time. A friend of ours from Florida went to the inspection on our behalf. He said the inspector was great. Very professional. Arrived right on time and did a thorough inspection.
