Mr. Water Company

Estimate provided was professional; gave good discount if I did both homes. Had already received two other estimates for water softener only and one estimate for water conditioner and Mr Water was best price. Arrived for work on time, finished within the estimated time frame for both systems. Only glitch had nothing to do with the work I am reviewing - a dining room chair broke when the owner was sitting in it - hopefully will be covered by furniture store warranty, otherwise he did not offer to have repaired or replaced.

We had used Mr. Water before and were very impressed with their work, so I called them again. Steve Crocker was able to come out the same afternoon and replaced the pistons, seals and spacers on the valve. He could have charged us for a whole new valve and didn't; we really appreciate his honesty. We will certainly use them again whenever we have water softener problems!

Scott from Mr Water came out last week (5/26) to test my water. Based on that, he recommended the Iron Breaker. He was very professional and did not do an extensive sales pitch. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. We scheduled install of the Iron Breaker for 5/31/16. He was prompt and professional again. He even took away the old iron filter! He even improved my existing water softener by adding a chemical to help remove more iron. He did a super job on the entire install and I am very happy with the product. I can already tell a huge difference in my water! He gave me his cell number and told me to call him directly if I have any problems or any questions arise. Great customer service!!!

I had great difficulty in getting him here. He did a reasonable job. I requested that he return for a biannual service. He never returned.

I had just moved into a new home and wanted to have a water softener installed. I contacted Mr. Water through Angie's List and was contacted immediately by Steve. Knowing absolutely nothing about water softeners I had a ton of questions, which Steve patiently answered. He went through all my options and I decided on a 2 stage softener and an installation date. Steve arrived promptly on the agreed upon installation date and spent many hours performing difficult work (digging trenches to lay all the appropriate piping, etc). Steve was extremely professional, did an outstanding job and made sure I was 100% comfortable with the system before he left. I have had to text him since with some questions about the system and he was again prompt and professional in his responses. I would highly recommend Mr Water if you are thinking about a water softening system.

We just moved into a new home, where the previous owner's father had installed a water softener. When Mr. Water arrived, he immediately pointed out all the things that were installed incorrectly in the unit. He took care of this immediately, installing a water softener/conditioner and removing the old equipment. This is the second time we've used Mr. Water. We have been a customer of Mr. Water for several years now. Scott came today exactly at 8:00 AM (when he said he'd be here), replaced our aged filters for our water purification system, replaced the aged tank/bladder. Having told Scott that I had an appointment at 9:00, he completed this all in less than 45 minutes. He cleaned up after himself, made sure that the job was done correctly and he let me make it to my appointment with time to spare. I am happy to and without reservations recommend Mr. Water for any water filtration needs.

Mike and Steve performed the service and along the way, explained the workings of our equipment. Unfortunately, when Pampering Plumber installed the systems, I was not informed that the systems they installed didn't filter out chlorine and chloramines. It only filtered out sediment. Mike did not try to sell a new system. At my request, he explained the details of a more up to date and efficient system. Mike and Steve are extremely professional and knowledgeable and when the time comes for us to replace our existing system, I would not hesitate to hire Mike and Steve.

I had an issue with water flow in our home. I called Mr. Water Co. on Monday morning and within two hours, mike the owner was at my home accessing the problem. .After determining what the problems were with my water softener , Mike explained to me that he could repair and replace a broken valve and deteriorated resin. No need to replace entire water softener system which saved me many hundreds of dollars Mike then checked all faucets throughout the house and removed any resin that was blocking the faucets . After this, he replaced the broken valve and removed the old resin, replacing with new resin. Mike was friendly and professional the entire time answering any question I had for him. I would use the Water Co. for any issues or installation for water treatment and I highly recommend them Eddie O

He was much more interested in repairing it than selling me a new one. Super nice guy and only charged for parts. Honest as well.

We bought a house that has one of those old school Fleck style water softener with a separate resin tank and salt tank. It worked our first two years and then twice it dumped salt water all over our garage. I flipped it on bypass and called 3 different places asking them to troubleshoot it. All the other companies took one look at the old softener and pretty much right away said I need to replace the system to the tune of $1200-$1600 at least. I figured I'd sleep on it for a couple months until I was ready to fork it over. Gave Mr. Water a call and Steve showed up. He looked at the system and said it's a system that he services and offered to fix it vs. selling me a new system that he also brought in his car. Steve spent about 2 hours pulling the resin tank out and replaced it with new resin and also replaced various worn component in the timer valve, which was the primary cause of the backwash being blocked and dumping salt water on the floor. He also reset the settings properly for our family usage and even swapped out with a new transformer for the timer. I appreciated Steve and his company's honesty in providing a fix without my asking vs right away trying to sell me a new system right off the bat. That alone deserves my praise and my recommendation to anyone seeking work on their water softener - old or new.

Right on time; did work quickly and efficiently, very congenial, left no waste or mess. I use Mr. Water now all the time and love that they will call with a reminder that it is time to change filters, something I never remember. Highly recommend them for any water system work.

Put in new system. Water smells. Three follow up service calls. Water still smells like rotten eggs. Gave up with this company.

I called Mr Water because of all the great reviews on Angie's List and we definitely needed a system to remedy our hard water. Mike came out and explained all the options available to us. We agreed immediately for him to do the job the following week. We got a discount for being members of Angie's List and our price was $1550. Mike and Scott came the following week, installed the system, and cleaned up everything. They explained the system to us and what we need to do to make it function properly. Mike gave us the manual for the system. They checked all the faucets in the house to make sure everything worked fine. We had a minor problem and called Mr Water, got an immediate call back, and the problem was resolved. It was a very seamless process and the water is wonderful and drinkable. I highly recommend Mr Water to anyone with water problems.

Got Mr. Water from prior reviews. We were not disappointed. He called to make an appointment as we were not yet moved into the house. He arrived on time and proceeded to explain the available options. We agreed on a system and got an Angie's List discount. An appointment was set up for the following week. He arrived on time with his son and the system was installed in a timely fashion without any problems. He cleaned up before leaving. He once again explained the system and made sure there were no questions before he left. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who needed this type of service.

We bought the whole equipment. They put every thing in and installed it. They explained everything, and they gave the different options. It was a pleasant experience for what we needed.

I called Mr. Water because of their high reviews on Angie's List. Now I know why the reviews are as high as they are. After pricing numerous companies, Mr. Water was by far the best price. They were punctual, easy to work with, and extremely professional. Scott was extremely kind and did excellent work. He made sure the job was right and double checked his work. He not only cleaned up after the job, he cleaned all the salt off the floor that had dropped from the cracked tank of my broken unit. This was an excellent experience and I would call Mr. Water again without hesitation.

After I called Mr. Water, Steve called me back the same day and stopped by to look at our water softener without charging us for a service call. When I explained the problem I was having with our water pressure, Steve confirmed that the resin needed to be replaced. He quoted me a price and didn't try to sell me anything else. He scheduled us for the next day. On the day of the service he showed up in time. He came with his father and worked together. They took all the old resin out and replaced with new resin and had our water softener up and running in less than an hour. They were very clean and thorough with their job. They were also both very nice gentlemen. I like supporting family businesses, especially when they do great work.. Would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family.

I have a well at my home and suddenly had hard orange water, sulphur odor, and rust staining. Since my salt level had not gon down as usual, I suspected a problem with my water softener. After submitting an inquiry on his website (phone was busy twice when I called), Mike called me back and scheduled a visit. Mike came out a few days later, right on time as scheduled, and tested my water. He then went into my HOT pump house and diagnosed the problem as a frozen valve and quoted me to repair the valve. He mentioned replacing the resin in the softener and did not try to force it upon me, although I had already intended to have it done while the unit was apart. I asked about the Iron Breaker system I had seen on his website and researched. Mike stated the softener MAY remove the iron based on the iron level of my water, but provided me with info on the system anyways. I scheduled just the repair of the softener and told him I would let him know if I decide to get the Iron Breaker. I called Mike back a couple days later after doing more research, and told him I would like to add the Iron Breaker system, which he stated would be no problem. Mike showed up with his son on the day and time we had scheduled, and quickly completed the job. After installation, my water was still slightly yellow, and he told me to call him back if it did not clear up in a couple of days. He suspected the color was coming from tannins and not iron. The water did not clear up and I called Mike back about a week later. Mike had to obtain a special resin to remove the tannins from my water, and called me back a few days later when he had obtained the resin. Mike then came out with his son and added the resin to the softener, and my water returned to being clear. The iron is gone and I have no more sulphur odor. I would recommend the Iron Breaker to anyone with high iron in their well water. I would highly recommend Mr. Water for any related job. The level of professionalism was high and he and his son were very friendly. Also, Kay answers the phone sometimes and was very pleasant to speak with.

I like working with local businesses and that's what you get with Mr. Water. The whole family is involved. They showed up on time and gave me a fair price with no high pressure sales tactics. The prices were fair, they were on time and did a good job. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend this company.

I have a water softener system that is nine years old. Over the past few weeks the water was gradually getting harder. Mr. Crocker returned my phone call the same day, and I described my system and the problem over the phone. He said it sounded like the resin needed to be changed, the pins in our timer might need to be replaced, and he gave me a separate price for each. Mr. Crocker's son, Steve, arrived early for our appointment a few days later and immediately began checking out the system. He reviewed the operation of the system with my husband and I and gave us some pointers for optimum usage, which we appreciated. He determined that only the resin needed to be changed, and the timer was in good shape. He did not try to upsell anything or charge for anything we didn't need. Steve quickly and efficiently changed out the resin, and he was careful about not spilling any waste. He was very polite and pleasant to work with. This is a small, family owned company, and the quality of their work shows. I would use this company again.
