ABOVE THE REST PAINTERS

GREAT - we received the name of Above the Rest Painters from Angie's List as well as a few other companies. I had each company come out and give me an estimate, as well as describe their process they go thru for painting and the different types of paint used. When Fred (with Above the Rest Painters) came out, he not only walked around the house with me letting me know what to expect with their company, but he educated me on several different items/issues to be aware of with painting the outside of a stucco house. Each company I talked with used a different level of Sherwin Williams paint and would explain to me why their choice of the level of paint was the absolute right one to use. Above The Rest Painters was the only company to use the top rated type of Sherwin Williams paint (I called the local Sherwin Williams store and talked to them about the different levels of paint) and was very very reasonably priced. In the end, we had them paint not only the outside of our house, but they also painted the concrete around our pool. I was shocked as Above The Rest Painters came out on a Thursday morning and power washed our house and lanai floor and by the end of Friday evening, out house was completely painted and BEAUTIFUL! They caulked all of our windows, fixed all of the cracks in the stucco and cleaned up after themselves. I have had nothing but compliments on the painting and would not hesitate to recommend this company and will plan on using them again in the future. I am adding before and after pictures to this review so you can see what a remarkable job they did - it is like having a brand new house!!!!

Above The Rest Painters truly are above the rest! This company is fantastic, and their work is next to none. Fred, the owner, is completely flexible and is available to answer any questions at any time. His crew was punctual, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job painting our house. The quality of products that they use is far superior to other companies, and it the difference is definitely noticeable. My house looks better than it ever did, and all my neighbors are commenting on how beautiful the paint looks. Fred's crew showed up and had everything done as promised in two days, and the outcome is better than I ever expected. If you want a quality paint job, then Above The Rest Painting is the way to go!!!

They were very thorough and did everything that was promised. They used the best Sherwin-Williams paint (Duration) and had the employee of the local Sherwin-Williams store deliver the paint to me. No Bait and switch. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their house painted.

Excellent!!! Fred Ferrer and his crew are Professional, Courteous, and Friendly. Fred explained everything that was needed to be done and everything was completed as required. He even helped me with my color selection on the trim, which I will be forever grateful for as his taste is impeccable. His crew were friendly and worked quietly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to recommend Above the Rest Painters.

We chose Above the Rest after talking to and getting quotes from five other "A" rated painting companies in the area. Tony Ferrer came to our home and demonstrated outstanding knowledge of their craft and products. He provided recommendations based on what we wanted and was a very friendly and polite. I spoke with several other businesses and they lacked his intuitiveness and his demeanor. One company thought about did not even want to come to our home and wanted to do everything over the phone. They could certainly take a lesson from Above the Rest. The work was professional and very well done. From the pressure washing to the pre-painting prep work. Nothing was overlooked. After the job was finished Tony then went around the house several times and find very minor spots that needed to be touched up. They were so minor that we did not even notice them. The crew also painted our door and our concrete patio deck and did a fantastic job.

Very professional company that takes you through all steps of their process. They normally use Sherwin Williams Duration but we wanted Emerald because of no fade at no additional cost. Paint was delivered from Sherwin Williams directly so no switching. Pressure washed and trenched day before. One full day to paint, which included sealing , caulking, and repair of any cracks plus spray painting of soffits and fascia. Our garage doors were in good condition so did not include them. Supervisor on site to make sure nothing missed. Very pleased!

Went great. Wanted to do it myself but these guys did a BETTER job than I would have done. First power washed house a few days before. Showed up right on time. Then painters called to check if they could paint a day ahead of time as someone could not choose color. All set. Showed up early in day. Worked as a great team. One or two masking off areas, another started painting the white trim... As one finished his job, started doing something else. No one was standing around waiting to do something. Very impressive. Supervisor was here checking up making sure I was happy. The last thing even though I had walked around all day, one guy walked around with me to make sure there were no problems. There were none. Extremely happy!

Painters don’t get better than this… This company is fabulous! I’m a realtor and I was in a hurry. After the first phone call, they were able to ‘Paint to perfection” a 1400 square-foot townhome – and they did it the next day! Their work ethic, communication skills, & commitment are unsurpassed. And, the pricing was lower than the other quotes I had – icing on the cake!

Excellent. I couldn't ask for better service or communication. The quality was so good I added two bathrooms to the original plan. Fred was more than accommodating and ensured I was happy with the job.

Fantastic job!! A father and two sons own the business, and they have a team of seven {four of them brothers) and all have worked together more than 10 years. Four people showed up on Thursday and pressure washed everything. Used the washer to get down to the foundation so everything ready for painting. Next day, the whole crew of seven showed up. What teamwork!!! They were extremely detailed and went the extra mile, like painting a small fence around the air handler and many other things without being asked. They used top of the line Sherwin Williams paint (Duration) that had a lifetime warranty and put HC Heavy Shield on the deck. Very satisfied and I would definitely hire again. I had gotten two quotes before them and what locked them in for me was, Freddy, one of the owners arrived to give me a quote. He was very neat in white SW coveralls, pants neatly pressed. You could tell he was proud of his appearance. Then I went outside with my excitable dog to meet him and Buddy (the dog) promptly peed on his nice starched pants. Freddy didn't show any irritation at all, but was so pedantic trying to clean his pants cuff and detailed about getting his cuff cleaned and just perfect, I said to myself that if he is half as detailed in painting a house, this is the team that I want. His brother, Bucky, showed up and managed the team and was on site for the duration. I was so happy with the team, I gave the team supervisor, George, a $50 bill to take his guys out for beer.

Not only do these guys care about the quality of the work they do but they also care for and respect their clients. In the seven years I've been in Pasco, I've become completely frustrated with the total lack of professionalism and work ethic. Whether its showing up late, not showing up at all, or leaving cigarette butts on my lawn, it's hard to find anyone around here who is professional, reliable, communicative and who does quality work. Fred and his crew exceeded my expectations. Fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

work was performed on time and exactly the way described,all questions were answered in detail, no surprises. Would recommend highly to anybody in need of painting services. Also no money or deposit was asked for until job was complete and after a walk around the house to make sure I was completely satisfied.

Awesome couldn't have been better. My wife wrote a lengthy review on her membership sight if you want to read it. But in a nut shell they show up when they say, they explain exactly what to expect. They are extremely professional and when they are done they take time to walk you through and answer any questions. Here's something to think about: they have your paint delivered by the paint store to your house. This eliminates any questions of watered down or tampered with product.

We chose them after receiving three quotes, selecting them based on the face-face time Tony took to walk us through the process and the confidence he gave us that the service they delivered would be outstanding. Our home is gorgeous that’s to the eye and skill the team have. Above The Rest is a family-owned business that stands behind their work and dedication to make sure your home’s pain job is high quality and will protect the home for years to come. Their price was extremely reasonable (I now realize I was robbed on a paint job of my home half the size in St. Pete two years ago). Call Tony and Fred for your needs! Fantastic; professional, honest, and efficient. I HIGHLY recommend Fred with Above The Rest Painting, they were extremely professional and timely, they completed our 3000+ exterior sq ft house in 2 days in April 2017. They used the top grade Sherwin Williams paint and his price was equal (or less than) many other companies who were using the mid-grade (or low grade) paint. They even pressure washed and included sealing all the windows and cracks in their price. When Home Depot messed up the instillation of an exterior door, Fred's crew came back a week later just to paint the new door for us; they went above and beyond! I met with over 5 other contractors (and I am a Realtor with Southern Roots Realty, so I have seen many contractors work) I would use Above The Rest again and I highly recommend them to all my Clients. They did such a great job I recently had them back in July for a small job of 1 interior wall and 1 door. You can trust the job will be done correctly and you can't beat their service!

Great company to work with. Prompt and it only took them one day to paint a huge space. Very neat and put everything back. Highly recommend.

Crew with 4-5 guys arrived 7:30 and started caulking, masking, painting, moving patio furniture out. 2400 sqft house was painted in 1 day (pressure washing was done day before) using premium sherwin williams paint. Also premium material were used: sealer, caulk, elastic patch. Job site was cleaned after that. Overall experience is very good, communication great. Highly recommend. Price wise very competitive with other offers. A bit on higher side, but speed and quality is exceptional. Other reasonable offers varied between 2900 and 3900 depending on type of materials, number of people in crew.

Great company! This was by far the best experience on any hired service I have had. They were on time and when above and beyond all expectations. Very professional. House looks great and the products used were the highest quality. I have used other painters and above the rest is the best!
