These guys are absolutely spectacular. I'm in the construction business in Boston and if I could, I'd bring them up there to do my painting. Fred is almost too responsive and to careful, to make sure he has the details right, before starting the job. The crew began exactly on time and Bucky called 2 or 3 times, to keep me updated on exactly what time they've show up to Power Wash ... they were there within 3 minutes of Bucky's estimate and within an hour of the time they had promised weeks before. They did a thorough and complete job of power washing. The next morning they were there as promised and had the entire house "sealed" by the time I got there around 9:30 a.m. Then I saw what I didn't really expect ... they probably had 15 tubes of caulking and they were actually caulking as promised and as should be done with a quality paint job. By 3 p.m. Bucky and the team was done and the house was perfect. I can't recommend these guys enough. They are the best painting crew I've ever seen and a pleasure to deal with.

We found Above the Rest on Angie's List and they truly live up to their name. The are an excellent family owned buisness with terrific workers. The house looks wonderful. They came right on time and we were amazed that they finished in one day doing a quality job. We will definately use them again and highly recommend them.

On the first day, he was prompt and ready to work. He had a large crew with him and scheduled our painting between two other jobs he had (we had to paint quickly before our furniture was delivered). He did a great job down to the last detail and made sure that we were completely satisfied! We love our newly painted house and would recommend this company to everyone.

Upon making the first call, they were at our home doing the estimate within a few days. They were professional and very knowledgable in their recommendations. They actually took measurements, not just "guessing" based on the stated square footage of the home. After talking with them, we were able to quickly make a decision to schedule them. As time drew close to their scheduled date, we were still having difficulty selecting the colors. They were more than happy to come back out and assist in their recommendations, without being pushy. They knew it was our home and we would ultimately have to be happy with it. But their recommendations were spot on and we agreed with what he ultimately recommended. On the date of the scheduled job, the entire crew showed up and within 2 days the job was complete. I was skeptical of such a quick turnaround, but I walked the entire perimeter and could not find a single flaw. I am super impressed and would highly recommend them!

They previously painted the exterior of our house and did a great job. Very neat and clean. Very courteous. George is the best! They came back recently to paint the bedroom on short notice as we were having our first visitors since moving to Florida. Very accommodating. It was a pleasure working with them and we plan to use them when we are ready to paint the rest of the house.

Excellent. Painters and their boss showed up on time. Boss, one of two sons who with dad own and run the company. Finished entire job in 2 days. Did extras like rearranging master BR furniture. Delighted with high quality job and clean up. Recommend highly!

Mr. Ferrer and his crew showed up right on time each day to power wash and then paint. The workers were very polite and did an excellent job. The house looks amazing! Mr. Ferrer helped me pick a color, and spent time making sure that I was comfortable with all parts of the process. I would definitely use this company again!

I contacted Fred after finding Above the Rest on Angie's List and using them earlier in the year. They did such a good job the first time I used them, I knew that if I needed more painting done that they would get the job. Once again, they showed up on time and did an absolutely exceptional job. They showed up when they were supposed to and completed the job in a short time. My husband and I were out of state while the job was done and everything went very smoothly and Fred kept in contact with us. We are very happy with the work that was done and plan to call them again when we are ready to paint the second floor.

Ferd was very responsive. Fred was very detailed in describing what was included and how it would be applied. Service was great . The job was planned for the end of Jan, but was completed 2 weeks early. All workers were friendly and professional. supervisor made sure that we were completely satisfied before departing. Fred called to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend Above the Rest and would always use them when a painting need arose.

The process went extremely well. At first I was told the overall process would take 3-4 days. Fred and his crew of 8 showed up the first day, all very well organized and professional, and they were able to complete the job in one day. I was amazed and pleased. I was initially concerned the quality might be compromised by doing the entire job in one day. That concern was quickly banished. Fred, his Dad and his brother were all here as well. All of the workers spoke very good English, which was a delight! Everyone was working together and the end product was amazing. I still walk into my house every day and still can't believe it is all done. What nice people to work with. Most of the time I was not in my home and I had absolutely no concerns leaving them there working. After all of the work was done, I decided to do another accent wall. I contacted Fred and he was able to get someone to my house in the next 24 hours to get the one wall done. I have no hesitation recommending Above the Rest Painters. I will definitely use them again. I will definitely refer them to others. What a great group of professional painters who take pride in what they do!!

Freddy and his father came to our house twice to quote the painting of the interior of our home in early November. We wanted the work to be completed before Thanksgiving but they were unable to fit us into the schedule. We agreed to wait until the first week of December. They showed up on 12/01 and began prepping. Several hours later they walked off the job. I tried to contact Freddy to find out what happen with no response. Later that day I received an email that they couldn't paint my house. I was left in a terrible bind and my home was unpainted for Christmas because it was too late to get anyone else in before then.

Very neat and very fast. A crew of five came in and painted my condo in one day. 2 coats on every wall. Very professional painting. The condo looks like a completely different place. We could not be happier.

Fred showed up promptly on the date I'd requested [I had hoped my sister would still be in Florida that day to help me with the matter of selecting the right company to paint our home; as it was, Tony was wonderfully patient about my consulting her through the early on-site decisions, via pictures and phone :-)]. Fred was great about helping my husband and me to select the yellow color that was so vitally important not to get wrong. Because I am a stickler for reading reviews (I'd been impressed enough by 'Above the Rest's' reviews to have them give us a quote even after my husband felt HE was 100% satisfied that C.C.I., with their 118 positive reviews, would do a super job], I knew, from Consumer Reports (reviews) which paints I wanted and was pleased to be offered the option to select either of the two top-rated Consumer Report brands, Behr or Sherwin-Williams. The team showed up as agreed and on time late December and carefully power-washed the majority of our home, meticulously picking up paint chips that has evolve from this process. We had just had roofing work done so that they could not complete power washing of the one chimney over the lanai roof that had been replaced; further, with 7/8th of the back area comprised of old sliding window walls and Florida jalousie type windows, I appreciated that Tony wanted this area to be hand washed in order that there be no water leakage in to our home. As it was, there was still very minor leaking, so I was even more impressed with Tony's caution-in-advance. Unfortunately, the weather 'ganged up' on the crew and we needed to wait to find the optimal 'window' wherein our (stucco) home could dry sufficiently for paint adhesion before additional rain could possibly affect final curing. Fred assured us that while he could not control the weather our home was first in line to be painted once circumstances permitted. We agreed to a date and were pleased when the weather gave our project an unexpected push toward moving that date up by a couple of days. Having only been through exterior painting of a home this once in our lives, I can only encourage anyone reading this to be flexible with your own schedule and have whatever paint company you select not be too tightly scheduled so that they, too, can manage their work load regardless of what, in Florida, is a very awkward variable, the weather (and its affect on proper paint adhesion). The power-washing was completed properly and professionally first thing Tuesday morning then, bright and early Wednesday morning the crew of four, with George (on site) & Tony leading them, were here to tape and protect light fixtures, cement patio, aluminum window edges and the like. The crew began painting and, some 7 (?) hours later our home had been transformed! Tony then walked the perimeter with Jim and me to see that we were completely pleased. When I mentioned that, with the delay, my wish to have 'Christmas tree light' hooks removed from the drip edge had been overlooked (they were all very nicely painted), Tony had these taken out and the holes touched up. To my delight, while the rest of the crew cleaned the work area and removed equipment, George then painted our mailbox. I'd 'read' that this had been done on the homes of other Above the Rest customers through Angie's list, but considering the long work day, hadn't wanted to ask if ours could be done as well: THANK YOU, GEORGE :-). Throughout, Tony was charming, confident, and, when he was on-site, great at keeping the team on track. Our sad stucco foreclosure (the old 'paint sucker'!) required some 10 more gallons of paint than had been estimated, yet Tony honored our original quote and left the remainder. Neighbors have already commented favorably about the beautiful transformation and I'll be pleased to refer Above the Rest to them. This was a difficult job to 'micro-manage' in that i felt that I was going to 'hear about it' from my husband if anything went amiss (i.e. "we should have hired 'X' company, instead'. While I know it isn't always the case, Above The Rest came in a third less expensive than 'X' company and used, for the most part, paint products I had researched to be reliable in a quantity that should hold up for years. If for some reason it doesn't, I have no doubt Fred and Tony will honor their workmanship guarantee and see that we stay satisfied customers. Above-the-Rest is an honest-to-goodness family operation that has us very pleased, now, with the look of our 'forever' home. P.S. Thanks, Tony. You are a character, you know 'good people' when you meet them, and we'll be reminded of you (and that) with the bone 'peace pipe' you gave Jim.

I can't begin to say enough good things about Fred and his crew at Above the Rest Painters. I requested a quote from Fred on Angie's List after reading several previous reviews. Although I had a few other estimates, once I met Fred I was certain that I had the right company for the job. He showed up promptly and measured the spaces. He provided a written estimate detailing the work to be done and scheduled a date to perform the work. He, his family and his crew were some of the most professional craftsmen that I have had the pleasure of working with. They take such pride in what they do and their attention to detail is extraordinary. I will absolutely use Above the Rest for all of my painting needs in the future and would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Angie's List did it again for me. Above the Rest had glowing reviews so it was an easy decision to contact them for a quote. Fred came and explained his process and gave his recommendations in a very clear manner. His price was very fair so we decided to move forward and Im glad I did. The project took a full week and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves each day. I could hardly tell they were there, other then the progress on the house of course. The net result was excellence. We couldn't be any more satisfied with how everything went. Fred went above and beyond, even painting some parts of the house that we didn't even discuss during the quote. Fred is the type of person who is 100% honest, but not only that, he is very anal in his work. So if something doesn't look perfect at first, he will catch it and make sure its addressed before finishing up. I highly recommend using Above the Rest?you will be thankful you did.

on the first day a worker came and pressure washed the entire house, including the soffit/fashia,and gutters. then he left and the house was left to dry. bright and early the next morning fred the owner came with his worker George and his helper. fred introduced the crew to me and they started right in on the painting job. they were at my house all day and were very meticulous and clean. George was super and so was his helper. when the job was complete George went around the house looking at the whole paint job with a paint brush in his hand touching up places He thought needed attention. I personally didn't see anything wrong with what he was touching up. this was total pleasant experience from start to finish. they cleaned everything, nothing was left for me to clean up. the owner fred was a truly honest man and I would use this company again in a minute!

They are the most customer oriented company I have ever worked with and the work couldn't have gone any better. They were prompt every morning. Professional, helpful , and easy to work with. When I changed my mind about an accent wall, they fixed it. They wanted me to be happy every step of the way. The painting crew did a terrific job. The house looks great. Fred and the guys showed up at 8:30 a.m. as promised. At times there were 6 workers. They all had their assignments and worked in harmony. They worked until 9:30 p.m. and finished the job. We were pleased that they got the job done in 1 day. We were tired of white and went with colors. We are very happy with the job. Fred was very friendly and easy to work with. His guys were efficient and courteous.We just had new carpet installed and we were concerned,The guys were careful and everything turned out beautiful. We will call ABOVE THE REST PAINTERS , when we are ready for the exterior of our home.
