This was such a TOP QUALITY JOB!! If we had know the experience would be so great, we would have done it long ago. The ABOVE THE REST brothers and crew are trustworthy and excellent craftsmen, with an attention to detail that I wish all service providers had. They made sure to show all materials so we knew we were getting the best quality. The painting job is better than perfect. All edges are clean and neat, surfaces smooth and beautiful, and nowhere could I even find a sliver of the old paint color. The price was great, even with the best caliber paint. No smudges, drips or even trace that painters had been here recently. Overall, a super job. Thanks!!!

Good. I'm happy. They were many cracks and they did an excellent job. They are very proud of their work, explained what they were doing.

Fred, Shadrick and Anthony were all great to work with. Not only was the family great to work with but their workers themselves were quite pleasant and courteous throughout. They provided exceptional feedback, advice and reponsiveness throughout the week long project. The price was not the cheapest and not the most expensive but their professionalism and attention detail were hard to beat. I would happily recommend them to anyone. They spent the first few days pressure washing, repairing and patching the stucco. They were exceptionally patient and helpful providing color consultation and did not hesitate to get multiple samples to ensure we were happy with the product. They will recommend paint products but will certainly abide by your desires as they have relationships with all major suppliers near as I can tell. We could't be happier with how the job turned out.

Fred and his team did excellent work. They were punctual, communicative, and left my property as clean as it was prior to the work. I would not hesitate to use Above the Rest for my future painting needs.

WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE ENTIRE CREW WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE AND THEY ALL WORKED WELL TOGETHER! THE WORKERS WERE VERY HELPFUL IN PUTTING THE FURNITURE BACK IN PLACE, PUTTING BLINDS AND CURTAINS UP. ETC. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ALL NEEDING PAINTING DONE. THIS COMPANY WILL BE CALLED TO DO OUR PAINTING FROM NOW ON!

They were excellent, professional and assisted my mother in any way possible. They were also very quick to fit in her job and finished in 1 day as she requested. She lives in Heritage Pines in Hudson, Fl. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fred came out to the model home before I moved in and gave me a quote. I choose my colors and they picked up the paint (Benjamin Moore) and provided all painting supplies. I closed on Friday and the painters were there on Monday. They painted my entire house in a one and a half days. They were neat and very professional and did an excellent job. After my wood floors were installed they came back and caulked and painted the quarter round and did a great job. In fact, Fred had actually measured the model next to mine, which was smaller and still insisted on giving me the lower price as he said it was his mistake. I would highly recommend Above the Rest Painters and will use them again in the future.

Came out as scheduled for an estimate. We went over the scope of the work and products. His estimate was very competitive and included a more durable Sherwin-Williams paint than another higher estimate. Pressure washed the house on Friday and returned for painting on Saturday. Tony and his crew were absolutely meticulous with the surface preparation prior to painting. I thought the house looked GREAT after being painted but Tony, with his eye for detail, had his crew do some minor touch-ups that I would have missed. I thought we were done, but one of his crew was painting the mail box posts too. Absolutely a top notch quality job. Would highly recommend Above the Rest Painters.

The Ferrar family were a pleasure to deal with and their crew where very efficient and capable. They use high quality SW products and had helpful suggestions about paint color. They started on time and had the whole job done in 3 days with a crew of 6. Results were excellent and they were careful in their protection of the plants around the house.

Very pleased with the work done. This is a family operation that has been in business over 40 years and that's highly unusual these days. They were courteous, professional and went above and beyond what I had expected. My lanai had a bad seam in the ceiling and they fixed it. I had chosen a dark color for the front door and received a call from Tony, the father, saying he'd been sent a picture of the house once it had been painted and he thought the color was too dark and suggested it be painted white to match the trim. He was right because it looks beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a great job done on their home.

Excellent service from this company. My neighbors haven't stopped complimenting on the quality of work. They did not provide the lowest estimate but I went with them after a ver thorough written estimate and I am so glad I did. The work they did with quality paint from Sherwin Williams will last a long time. Meticulous with details also !!!

A+ Workmanship and Professionalism. I had 5 estimates though Above the Rest Painters was not the cheapest quote, I felt during our discussion about the painting of the house that they were the best for me. Tony the owner came by and looked over my house he promised the paint job would be perfect. I believed him. I was right his company did fantastic job. You can not see any cracks in the walls and there were quite a few since this was the first time since the house was built that it had a new paint job. My house looks like brand new. I have gotten compliments from all of my neighbors and friends. So nice to come home to a perfectly painted house. I was going to paint it myself but there is no way I would have done job as good as this. It was money well spent. I highly recommend Above the Rest Painters to anyone looking for a quality paint job on their home.

Fred and his father went out of their way to meet our timeframe. The came early, stayed late , put extra men on the job and did it in one day. The quality is great. One of the best paint crews I have ever seen and I used to work construction.

These guys are outstanding!!! Most definitely the best contractor I have used in Florida. Their professionalism, attention to detail and desire to go above and beyond in making sure the customer is well informed and satisfied every step of the way is almost unheard of today. I would only use this company for future painting and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Tony, Bucky and Fred for a great experience working with you.

Very friendly, very knowledgeable. Fred, his brother and his dad all had us believe they were the best we could find. They were scheduled to start work on Monday, but called to say they were delayed. No problem. Tuesday was to be the start, delayed again. It happens. Wednesday, Fred called to say he needed to pick up a long ladder for our tall ceilings, that he would be here in an hour. I sat here for eight hours waiting. At 11 or so, I called to ask where he was, no response. We feared they might have had a medical or some other emergency, but as of 4:23 today (Thursday) still nothing from them. I called to tell them we were going back out to bid. I do not have time nor inclination for this kind of customer "service." They wanted a 50 percent deposit before they started work. I said that I do not pay for dinner in a restaurant before I eat it or for car repairs before they are done. I agreed I would pay partially after approximately 1/3 the work was done. They agreed to that. Don't know if Fred took umbrage at that (his dad and brother agreed to it, and he called the next day to say he was on his way). I am perplexed. I judge myself a pretty good judge of workmen, and I thought they would be very good. Instead, I got the same, "lean the ladder against the wall and go do another job" approach. Thank goodness we did not pay a deposit. I would definitely not recommend this company to others.

I would not hesitate to recommend Above The Rest Painters. They were punctual, friendly and efficient. They used good materials and kept me informed all along the way. I was very impressed with their whole team and our house looks fantastic. They even painted under the roof overhang, which I had not expected them to do. Very pleased and will use them when we paint the interior of our home.

I received quotes from several painters. Above the Rest was not the low quote, but I selected them based on their obvious knowledge of the products and process, plus the positive Angie's List reviews. They showed up on time and completed their work as scheduled, despite very adverse weather. Their crew was very competent, courteous and careful. The quality of their workmanship was outstanding and the products they used was best grade, despite the fact that this was a lump sum job. There were no cutting of corners. I was particularly impressed by the preparation of the surfaces and applications of bonding agents/primers throughout, especially to the rock wall, which I knew would be a special challenge. At the completion of the work, everything was cleaned up, furniture was restored to it's proper location and I was given a walk-through inspection. Actually, during the walk-through, I could find no defects. The supervisor however, pointed out several minor ones that I would have missed and had them fixed immediately. I was totally satisfied with the work and the value received.

Wish Angie's List had a grade higher than an "A" we recently moved to the Tampa area and I knew we'd need to repaint our bedroom and a study in the new house, but when we closed, the previous owner had tried to patch some of the other walls, but used a different color paint. Consequently, we ended up having to paint most of the interior. Before we moved I had contacted Above the Rest who promised to come in and do an estimate. When Tony got there I explained about the poor patch job and asked him to do an estimate for the whole job. He completed the estimate within 15 min and said they could start the next day - which they did- and completed it all in one day! The end result was absolutely beautiful! I can't say enough good things about the team - Tony, Buckey, Taco, and their wonderful team. I would hire these folks again in a minute!

Results have transformed the look of the house thanks to brothers Fred, for estimate and scheduling and Bucky, for supervision of the job along with the crew.

It went very well. They pressure-washed one day. Caulked and sealed and painted the next day. I was very pleased, the owner was very thorough and explained what he was going to do. I would call him again.

From start to finish, the team was very responsive, polite, and professional. They were quick to provide a quote and were able to quickly schedule a time to start the job. I appreciated that they had multiple professionals on the job and were able to complete my job in a single day! They were there right on time (literally on the dot) and did a great job. I would use them again.

To provide the quote for the job of painting the interior of my house, Fred Ferrer measured all of the rooms in order to give a more accurate quote as to how much the job would cost. One of my concerns in getting this done was having to move all of the furniture and pictures in preparation for the job and then replacing everything. Fred assured me that his crew would take care of all of this for me and the only things that he asked me to take care of were precious breakables. On the day the job was to start, his crew of six men arrived at my house about 30 minutes early but waited patiently until the appointed time to be sure that I was ready for them. As soon as they came in, they started prepping the house to first paint the ceilings by moving furniture and covering everything with plastic. They took pictures of all of my decorations and pictures so they could be put back in the same places when they were done. They worked continuously throughout the day, only taking a short break for lunch. By the end of the first day, they had painted all of the ceilings and the walls in the master suite, the study, the kitchen, and the hallway including the base boards and doors in these rooms, as well as some of the formal living areas and the family room. This included inside the closets in these areas which meant removing all of the items in the closets and the shelves. Before they left for the day, they moved everything back into the closets and put back all of the furniture and window treatments in these rooms. The next day a crew of four again arrived early and started in where they left off. Before they left, as with the previous day, they moved all the furniture back into place, put everything back in the closets, rehung all of my pictures and paintings and put back all of my decorative pieces. Their supervisor, Tony, examined the entire house and had the crew fix any area that he was not completely satisfied with. They even ran the vacuum before they left. Because of the size of the job, I had expected at least part of it to be done by spraying but every bit was done with rollers and brushes. I have not found one spot with even a small drop of paint. I was here while they were painting and never saw any of them get a drop of paint on anything. They were very professional and extremely efficient. My house looks beautiful and I know that I made the right choice with Above The Rest Painters. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
