Description of Work: I've had numerous bad experiences with different pool service providers and it was such a pleasant surprise when dealing with Sweetwater. Very professional on the phone, and always give you a heads up on any changes in service times or techs coming out to your house. My pool has never looked better on a consistent basis. I absolutely recommend this company to anyone that has a pool.

Description of Work: After using two other pool service companies over a 1.5 year period (and seeing inconsistent service from those two) we found Sweetwater on Angies List. They have been prompt, consistent, professional and effective in caring for our pool on a weekly basis. These guys are worth a look if you are searching for a quality service. I like their monthly automatic payment system as well. Plus, they recommended a contractor to add auto-fill on my pool and that turned out well. Great company...

+ -1 moreAbout a month ago, I had a general contractor who was doing some handyman type jobs for me. My pool was in bad shape so he threw some chemicals in and told me to call a pool service. Sweet Water came out a after a couple days and did absolutely nothing. They came out the next week and still did not do anything. They told me to tell my contractor to pump out the stuff at the bottom. They came out the third week and said they only thing they could do was drain it and acid wash it to the tune of $900. I spoke to the owner who was very rude from the beginning. They came out, drained 10000 gallons and acid washed it. They ruined the finish on the inside of my pool and then told me that is the best it’s going to get and that I need to call the pool resurfacers. He came out the next day and told me Sweet Water Pool Service should not have completed the draining and acid washing because they stripped the pool down to the concrete. Now I have to have the pool resurfaced for $3500. I'm still working on that! After swearing at me and being completely unprofessional, his office manager talked him into not charging me since they ruined my pool. He didn't charge me. However, they initially told me that they would write a letter to the water company to let them know that they drained the pool, pressure washed it and refilled it. That way the water company would only charge me for the water portion of it and not the sewer portion of it. Now they are refusing to write that letter.
Description of Work: I had Sweet Water Service come out to drain and acid wash my pool.

+ -1 moreSweetwater Pool Service spend a lot more time than the other provider I had before; they are usually here for a good half hour. This guy seems to be very knowledgeable about what he is doing and he takes the time to explain things to me.
Description of Work: I use Sweetwater Pool Service for pool cleaning. They sweep out the pool every other week and scrub the tiles and pour in any chemicals as needed every week.

They have helped us understand issues with the pool and how to care for it between servicing. The office is wonderful as well. Would recommend!

He was very fair, did not oversell, showed me specifically what was wrong every step of the way and dealt with us very honestly. I would highly recommend them! Moreover, if we can get him some monthly pool service customers in Fort Myers/Gateway area I would love to use them for that as well.

Description of Work: They come weekly and check the chemical levels and filter. No vacuuming has been done while we have been here. 7/9/2012 Jim called and explained we are on the bimonthly vacuuming plan and the reason we were seeing what we were seeing was because we needed a filter change as a dirty filter lets dirt filter back into the pool. His explanation made sense and the pool is clear. We would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: What has happened to good service in Florida?! The Pool Company I used for many year's just stopped servicing my pool. Yes, I always paid them on time. Without notice, my pool became filthy and the water turned green. I called them and they informed me that they were no longer servicing my area and thought that they notified me. Now, with my daughters pool party only 5 days away, I have a big pool mess on my hands. After reviewing several websites and looking through pages of testimonials, I decided to call Sweetwater Pool Service in Naples. I spoke to the owner Jim and he was very sympathetic to my problem. He promised the pool would be ready for the party. Jim had his guys out the very next day and they returned several times before Saturday and yes the pool was ready. Jim, I can't Thank You enough and I am telling all my neighbors. You guy's are A+ with me.

+ -1 moreThe pump that was installed is super quiet and the Heater works great. I had priced out the same items from two other companies in the area and Sweetwater had the best price and installed the next day.
Description of Work: I have been a Sweetwater Pool Service customer for about 6 years. I use my pool every day as part of my rehabilitation from a shoulder surgery. I can only remember 1 time that my pool was less than perfect out of all those weeks of service and that week my usual pool technician, Fabian was on vacation. In my experience, they have been one of the most professional and honest service companies that I have used in Florida. Whenever I have a question or problem with my pool or my pool equipment, I can call their office and speak to a live person. Usually one of the owners is in and available to me. My pool is 18 years old and last year I had to replace the pool pump and pool heater. I received excellent pricing and very quick service. I have referred several of my neighbor's to them and as far as I know, they are also very HAPPY. I would not hesitate to recommend Sweetwater Pool service to anyone.

Pool technician tried to do a good job. Believe the standard set down from management was poor. Decided to terminate contract after conversation with management.

+ -1 moreThey are wonderful. The price is unbelievable; at $95 per month, that’s less than $25 a week. They get an A+. They are really nice people. When I got back here, the pool was deep green. The cats had been drinking out of it and they were all very sick. The place was a mess, especially the pool. Within three days of my call, they came out and emptied the pool. They put in muriatic acid and swept out the debris. They checked out the system, they refilled it with fresh clean water, and now, they’re maintaining it. They vacuum it every week and they clean the filter. There wasn’t enough pressure, they went through the pipes last week, discovered there was a cat toy, plus a clothespin that wasn't letting the water go through, and they fixed it. They just left today and the pool is nice and pristine. They come once a week to maintain the system. They bring their own vacuum and chemicals.

Description of Work: this is a very professional customer-friendly company, there is NO ONE there who isnt out to help you, they are reasonably priced, have correctly id'd and fixed what could have become major problems/expenses. they come out one a week for me, but have sevl other plans as well, they are so good they dont need to ask you to sign a contract, which is a rarity these days. They are personable and empathetic to each clients personal and also pool circumstances/plight. I cannot say enough about this company. I have never received such great service from a pool company before. thanx, sweetwater pool services--your name says it all-they are SWEET!! they have emptied, disinfected and cleaned it, refilled it with fresh water,id'd and fixed the suction problem and dripping pipes, vauum and surface clean and keep it proper water Ph, chlorine,shcok,etc. it is crystal clear since I hired them, and I intend to keep them as long as I have this house. PS For the original call, they came out immediately. it was a messy job, but they persevered and got it done ahead of time. They are always on time.
