The technician was very thorough. The entire call took two hours. Our AC unit was originally installed in 2004 (we just moved in as of December 2014), so I suppose a less scrupulous company might have seen an opportunity to gouge us, but they didn't. Although $465 isn't exactly a cheap repair, it's certainly less than a new unit would be, and the components aren't cheap. We aren't new to Southwest Florida and we've seen our share of repair companies, and we would confidently recommend Reynolds Home Comfort. We won't hesitate to buy our new unit from them!

Nick Coraci was extremely knowledgeable and had the problem resolved within a short period of time. Working with this company is a pleasure and I highly recommend their service.

When getting quotes, Paul Reynolds was nice enough to come out at a very convenient time. He was professional and courteous. When we selected his company for the job, we got a firm date. The installation team arrived on the promised date at the scheduled time. The team was courteous, explained what they were going to do. They laid out tarps in the work area indoors to protect the floor. The removal of the old compressor unit and furnace was done before I knew it. The installation went very well, despite our screwy water drain layout. New wi-fi thermostat works as promised. They even left extra filters. Final bill was exactly as quoted. All-in-all, an excellent job that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Reynolds for your AC service and contracting

Excellent. Nick and his team did a great job. They completed the task in two days, which included staying until 7:30 the second day, just so they would not disrupt our plans for the following day. Ian, the owner, came out to check on the progress. Everyone was very professional and respectful of our home. Nick explained the why's and how's of our system. No hidden expenses. I am very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them. No need to waste your time on a second opinion!

My air conditioning unit was looking in rough shape and wanted to be proactive about it, so I contacted some(4) of the top companies in the Lee country area to get some quotes to replace it. I have nothing bad to say about the other companies, but when I met with Paul, I knew who I was going to go with the installation. Paul is the owner and he came to my house to do the inspection and sat down and discussed what his company did(as far as projects) and showed pictures of the quality of their work. He was very personable and made me feel good about who I was going with. Their quote was considerably lower from the other companies I checked with(10-15%.) Around two weeks later they showed up with three people, one being the foreman, and did the installation in less than 12 hours. They even repaired a few things that were not quoted at no cost to me. The quality of work and the pride they put into it was second to none. What made my decision even easier for me was that this was not a huge company. I came from a small town(2000 people) and that all we had were small ma and pa type businesses. Reynolds Home Comfort reminded me of this and just connected on all levels of what I wanted. I would HIGHLY recommend them and plan on keeping them as my company for a maintenance contract as I am extremely happy with my experience!

It was a great, very professional, experience from start to finish. Price was competitive, installers were professional, follow-up when I requested another thermostat was exceptional. I am probably (most certainly...) a bigger "pain" than most customers because the property is a weekly rental and I don't live in FL full time. Because of that logistics are always an issue, starting with getting quotes all the way to planning the install when we have an open week without renters. Everything went without a hitch and every contact I've had needing to phone in (Gloria or the owner Paul or his wife) about anything was handled with an exceptional amount of thoughtful customer service. Moving forward I will happily use these guys (gals) for my HVAC needs in FL. Kudos for a job well done.

Bought a home 02/10 that was built in 1987 and still had its original AC/Heat system. Since it was still doing the job I didn't replace it immediately but knew the odds were, it would crash on a Friday night in the middle of August. I was wrong...it was a Thursday night. The good news was that about a month prior, in anticipation of it giving out and wanting to be prepared, I had contacted 3 Heat/Air "A" rated contractors from Angie's List, Reynolds being one. Paul Reynolds makes all the sales calls and he has an A-game. He makes a point of talking about his people, where they came from in terms of the business and how he treats them. Then I went through the Angie's List reviews and ratings. They have a 97% "A" rating. And when you read those that are less than that you can see that the issues are less about Reynolds and more about the customer. In fact, some were pretty petty. So, when the system crashed on a Thursday night in August, I called Reynolds first thing in the morning (7:15am) and left a message. It wasn't long before Paul called back and said as soon as his people got to the office he'd take a look at their schedules and see how quickly they could get someone out to take a look. He called shortly after 8am and said that his technicians were all booked but he had a sales call here in the Cape at 10am and he would be over as soon as he was finished there. Sure enough, he showed up just after 11am. Turned out the problem was the condenser fan motor had finally died (after 27 years I guess it didn't owe anybody anything). Paul said he'd be back in 30 minutes and jumped in his car and took off. Sure enough, he was back with a new motor and blade and it installed in no time. At that point I told him to go ahead and schedule a complete replacement with the Trane 3-ton, 15 SEER condenser and air handler he had proposed when we met originally. Didn't see any point in continuing with that hanging over our head. It was nearly a month before we could get into the schedule but the unit was working with the new motor and fan so that wasn't a problem. On the scheduled day, Josh and Mike showed up, as did Paul, to get the installation started. Later in the morning Ian also showed up to make sure things were on track. The job was completed as expected with no problems or issues. In closing, Reynolds Home Comfort is a first class operation, with good people and folks that do what they say they're going to do. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in need of Heat/AC services.

13 year-old Trane A/C failed. Went to Angie?s List to obtain 3 HVAC contractors. Contractor 1 arrived to provide an estimate. Never heard back from them. Contractor 2 arrived but did not send an estimate until 7 days later. Contractor 3 (Paul Reynolds) arrived promptly at 1:00 PM, explained what was needed, showed pictures of past jobs and provided two estimates within 3 hours. Paul suggested relocating the air handler to the garage attic and turning it 90 degrees to provide an even flow of air (the old one had the major duct lines coming out at a 90 degree angle from the air handler). Plus he was going to remove the kinks of the duct lines and suspend them from the rafters (vs. laying on the attic floor). Based upon what Paul had said about all of his workers, I expected ?Greatness?. Well, that?s precisely what I got. Both Josh and Mike did an excellent install, were courteous and worked long hours to complete the job (took two days). Paul stopped by when it was nearly complete to check on everything. I couldn?t be happier with this A/C replacement. This is a dual-stage compressor with variable speed blower which should reduce my cooling costs by 50%. Time will tell. Bottom line: I found the best HVAC company in the area. I will continue to work with Reynolds (for 6 month cleaning/checking) and highly recommend Paul Reynolds and all of his staff.

Selecting Reynolds Home Comfort came after contact with six AC contractors over a ten year period. Selection was based on previous experience, price and workmanship from previous contacts, company ratings from Internet sources (including Angie's list), as well as city, county, and state sources. From first contact with Paul and Sherrie Reynolds, through installation by Josh, Mike and Ian, the experience could not have been a more professional, courteous, efficient experience. Paul provided information and clarification regarding different units based on needs. Paul answered questions specifically, also including options and alternatives, as well as the positive/negative of our selections. Additionally, Paul provided photos of completed AC installation by his staff (the photos do not do justice to the actual finished product). On installation day, Josh, Mike and Ian arrived as scheduled and after friendly introductions began work. The job required removal of the old outside condenser and overhead garage air handler; installing and securing the new units, rework the duct/plenum openings for the new handler, patch reworked openings, and installing a new digital thermostat. The work is outstanding! The finished product, clean up, and attention to detail amazing. The "cleaner than they found it" adage certainly applies to this company. The work was permitted and installation inspection approved by city inspectors on November 5th. I would recommend Reynolds Home Comfort and will continue as a customer for future service.

Installers Josh and Mike (work for Reynolds, not subcontractors) were competent, courteous, and professional. Went about their work with minimum disruption to us. Their installation manager Ian stopped by and explained some of what they were doing. Reynolds Home Comfort is a fine company, and we would recommend them to anyone for installation and/or system maintenance, The whole installation the two men approximately 10.5 hours. The system was installed a week and a half ago and is working fine - also, it is very quiet compared to our old system.

The good reviews & high ratings you read on this site are an affirmation as to the fact Reynolds Home Comfort is on top of their game & really care about customer satisfaction. I am sure this is the type of company that will go above & beyond to makes sure the job is done right. Our installation went flawlessly without any problems or issues. They all got it right the first time! We highly recommend Reynolds Home Comfort to anyone needing air conditioning expertise, service or installation.

They arrived on time, performed the task of replacing the entire system and cleaned up when they were done with the installation.

Mike was great inspecting and cleaning both units. It took about 4 hours. Then he took us thru what he found and his opinion of the life expectancy of the units. After reviewing options we decided to replace both. Mike was great at getting the install scheduled quickly (we were leaving town). The install team of Josh and Michael were great. They identified some changes that should be made but were not planned. They checked back with their office to get the additional parts authorized. They woke until 7pm each of the two days to complete the install. The owner Paul Reynolds also stopped by to see how things were going. This was one of our best service experiences ever.

The installation will not be done until Oct 23rd/24th. Will provide a final review at that time.

Reynolds had installed/maintained my main unit so their reliability was proven; however, this job had challenges (one missing link) which they went to the local hardware store in order to finish on time and on budget.

This was a very challenging job because we live on an 85 foot tugboat. The old condenser unit was on the upper deck and the air handler was below the main deck in a closet in the old "crews quarters." Paul Reynolds' team was professional, meticulous, resourceful, friendly, helpful and got the job done perfectly and on time. In October they will return for a complimentary six month maintenance follow up and we intend on signing on at that time for a semi-annual maintenance contract. Paul and his team are always willing and able to provide 150%.

The did an excellent job. Very professional. Very clean. Installation was done without any problems. They did the installation on a holiday (4th of July) so that it would be done. Unit works very well and we are very pleased with the coutcome

Our service provider, Nick, did an excellent job on the maintenance and service of our A/C system. He also provided a lot of helpful advice as to why our house may not be cooling evenly and made suggestions to have the problem fixed (by them) and what we could do in the mean time to get by with no additional work. Nick was very friendly, professional, and never tried to hard-sell me on anything which I really appreciate. We will definitely hire them again in the future when we are ready to have additional work done, I would highly recommend the company to any one.

Terribly impressed with Technician, Nick Coraci!!! When he called to let us know he was on his way, he made sure to tell us that there was a "free service call" coupon in the Angies List book which was really nice and unexpected. I already had my coupon, but appreciated that he was trying to help offset additional costs. Then, he not only found the problem right away, he was wonderful in explaining what he was doing, what things should look like, and what the options were. He was especially helpful explaining the equipment he used and why to my nephew, who is trying to decide what field to go into now that he is going back to school. He also took the time to examine ALL of the equipment, even after he had replaced the problem condensor, and gave some advice about maintenance and useful life on the equipment and what to expect. He was a delight to work with, proud of the company he worked for and just overall, a great person. Kudos to Reynolds Home Comfort for keeping employees like Nick around!!! We were also impressed to know that Reynolds Home Comfort is also a great employer that frequently compensates its employees and provides opportunities for them to be rewarded, as well. Lovely to see a company that still takes pride in its employees and its reputation.

I called on a weekend and a serviceman came right out and performed a diagnostic test on my air conditioning. Before he left it was cool inside once again. I would definitely use this company again!

The phone consult was professional, pleasant and helpful, and a service technician was scheduled the same day. The service technician, Nick Coraci, was also professional, pleasant and helpful. He arrived as scheduled, inspected the HVAC unit, asked particular questions to guide his recommendation of solution options and explained the options to us. He performed a temporary repair, answered all questions and provided advice on the necessary permanent solution (a new HVAC unit) even if we chose not use his services. He followed up his visit, as promised, with an estimate for the future work. The experience, including payment, was easy and the folks at Reynolds Home Comfort were friendly and helpful. We will use them in the future, and give them our highest recommendation.

Jake and Jeff arrived right on time Tuesday morning. The day after Memorial day. All of Reynolds Home Comfort vehicles are identified by their brightly colored paint jobs and signs. I was impressed by Jake the project manager. He was friendly knowledgeable and professional. Jeff and Jake made a great team. My attic access was too small so they zipped a small 2' by 2' hole in the ceiling and up went the Hyperion Air Handler! (Jake asked me first) Jeff then reinforced the hole on the back side with plywood and screwed the piece of drywall back in place then he mudded the seams and you would never know there was a hole there! Jake took the time to explain the differences in air filters because I mentioned that I knew nothing about them. Jeff showed me where the surge breaker was located on the Condenser unit. A great job and when they left they took every scrap of the old unit with them. They cleaned up afterword so one would never know they were here... Many thanks to Dan who made the original service call (also very professional) Gloria who I met when I visited the office, Jake and Jeff of course and Paul the owner who returned my phone call in less than 30 seconds even though I called after hours (around 9:00 p.m.)

Nick is the Reynold's technican, arriving on time, and is very friendly and professional. The AC unit serviced is an 11 year old builders grade unit. Nick took the time to explain what and why he was conducting various equipment part testing during the AC service. Nick explained how different parts of the AC unit affect another working park and I learned a lot. Nick thoroughly disassembled various components, electronically tested, cleaned and reassembled the unit. Nick pointed out parts in good shape as well as componets that needed attention. Nick also offered different options regarding aging components. Nick also provided his professional opinion regarding the cost effectiveness for replacing components of existing system versus cost effectiveness and energy savings regarding a new unit. From the initial contact in scheduling the service through the service appointment, no regrets.
