I called before 8AM and the owner answered the phone ( not only before 8AM it was the actual owner), I explained that I was an out of state resident who had a house near him in Fort Myers and the A/C system didn't seem to be working. He told me that he or his wife would call me back in a few minutes and get the details and they might be able to squeeze me in today!!! Boy was I excited!!! I spoke to his wife who was a pleasure, explained my problems and she had a tech out there to diagnose my problem, I told her I was out of state and could provide me credit card before or after service and she had no problem waiting until the service was completed! They mentioned that a part of my A/C system was "stolen". He quoted me to fix it and to do an inspection on my system. The job was completed, I provided my cc details and they were awesome!! I would highly recommend their service!

This company provided exceptional service. We were very happy with the ability to work directly with the owner, Paul. He followed the progress of the project from start to finish. His service technicians Josh and Jeffrey were very professional and responsive. The project was completed in less than two days and in a manner that made us feel we have the best air conditioning system. This company will not let you down. We highly recommend this company.

Unfortunately, my air handler stopped working for the third time since early June. Decided to try another AC company this time, so gave Reynolds Home Comfort a call Monday morning. They were able to schedule me later that afternoon. Mike came on-time later that day and after I told him the history of our AC repairs, he went to work. A little while later, he diagnosed the issue as being either the air handler control board or motor fan and offered to drive to the parts warehouse right then to get us up and going that evening. He came back about 30 minutes later with the parts, replaced the air handler control board and we had cold air that day! I had the same exact repair done by another AC company earlier that year in June and not only did they charge me more than twice what Reynolds charged, they told me since they didn't have the parts with them, I would have to wait until the next day instead of offering to get the parts that afternoon. Needless to say, I'm super impressed with Mike and Reynolds Home Comfort and will be using them for my AC needs in the future. You can really tell how much they love what they do and it makes a huge difference.

The service people arrived on time. They were wasted no time in getting started and were polite/curteous the whole time they were here. The supervisor of the team was present to ensure everything was set up correctly and the owner of the company dropped by a couple of times to check on progress and to authorize the team to work a little later to complete the installation in one day. All the old equipment was removed, the work area was cleaned and the new system was given one last check. An inspector came over a week later and spent only 15 minutes checking out the installation stating that this company paid so much attention to detail that he never found any problems during his inspections. We were very pleased with the whole installation and will use them again when needed.

I am very impressed with Paul and the on time staff's professionalism. I love the quality of the Trane equipment. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend Reynolds Home Comfort.

They scheduled a visit with me almost immediately - within a couple of hours! Nick was very nice, capable, fast, efficient. He cooled my house for what I wanted to pay. He scared me with the prices of a replacement/new unit, however! So I went with the "bandAid" - more Freon for now! Happy I found Reynolds! Extremely nice girls on phone, and very helpful too. Last Fall October 2013: All went well. My unit was not as cool as it should have been for a day or 2, so I scheduled their 21-point inspection for (Angie's List coupon for $49!). Technician Mike was particularly nice, professional, and I felt he was knowledgeable and upfront about everything. I printed out Angie's List coupon which he asked for. Mike found freezing on the coil, and handler. He explained what I needed, what I could do without - yet keep my unit running effectively for an undetermined period of time into the future. He explained if I do need to get a new unit down the line (mine's 10 years old), prices, etc. He gave me (written) credits for a future unit replacement - valid within the next 6 months. He did not attempt to "sell" me anything. He responded to my questions, and spoke on the phone with family member willingly and politely. He discussed charges in advance of each action, did not attempt to overcharge me - in fact explained how we can prolong the life of the unit most efficiently and reasonably. I am very happy with the experience. My unit is cooling stably (It's 90 degrees outdoors as usual today!). I hold Reynolds Home Comfort and Technician Mike Howe in high esteem.

The technicians at Reynolds Home Comfort were very prompt and professional and they fixed the problem at a very reasonable price after I had been gouged by another HVAC company that didn't even fix the problem. I was very impressed that the Reynolds technician applied a factory warranty that I didn't even know that I qualified for since I had recently purchased the house and didn't have any paperwork or information on the air conditioner!! I highly recommend this company!!!

Called Reynolds on a Wednesday to discuss replacing my failing 13 year unit. Paul came out that afternoon and went over multiple options and pricing to best fit my needs, requirements and budget. We settled on the best option and his crew was here at 8:30 the next morning and was finished at 6. The crew did and excellent job installing the new unit and cleaning up. A very professional business I will gladly do business with again.

On afternoon, I found water on the floor of my laundry room which is also where my A/C exchanger is located. Upon more inspection I saw that the unit was leaking from under the unit. I knew I had to get an A/C technician in to find and repair the problem. I am new to Florida and had not used this provider before and found it on Angie's list and I used the coupon for new customers. The company was booked completely but said they would fit me in the next morning. I was told they would have someone there in the late morning and I was pleasantly surprised when they called and said the technician would be here at 10:00 am. The technician arrived just before 10 and inspected the unit. I was told the drain pipe was most likely clogged. which was causing the water to back up in the unit. The technician had a problem locating the drain pipe outside and did some digging before it was found. It was blocked and he suctioned it out. This fixed the problem. I presented the Angie's list coupon and it covered the visit completely so there was no cost for this repair. The technician was extremely professional and kind. At no time was there any discussions about other services or issues. He came to do what was needed and did not try to sell me anything other than what was needed. I am extremely happy with this provider and will absolutely use them again if necessary. I highly recommend them.

It was great. We had cool A/C Monday afternoon. Everything worked well and the county inspector was scheduled to come by the following week. He did and found that the fan (in the house) was icing up. So he called to report it to Reynolds. It was just a coincidence because we had had cool air all until then. He left. I went out for 1/2 hour and was stopping by our house just to get something - and there was Reynolds in the driveway! I had no idea they were coming that soon. He found out the fan was frozen up and went out right away to get a new one - came back and installed it. Cool air again. Unrelated to the compressor. But we were totally pleased with the service and would not hesitate to recommend this great company and its workers.

Overall the experience was outstanding and I am thoroughly happy with the work!

They quoted the job and installed the new equipment. They were on time and professional in their installation and it has been working well ever since.

Our air conditioner's compressor blew up last month and we were without air conditioning for a few days while we shopped for a new system. It didn't make sense to replace the compressor due to the age of the system. We consulted with several contractors from Angie's List and decided to go with Paul Reynolds, who installed a brand new Trane air conditioner (which included a new condensor and air handler). Paul is very knowledgable about Trane equipment and helped us pick the right system for our house. Paul was not the cheapest, but he was also not the most expensive. After shopping around and meeting with other contractors, my wife and I selected Paul because he seemed to care the most, seemed to be the most knowledgeable, and seemed to have the most confidence in his team. He offered to let me go to some past-customer's homes to see the quality of his team's workmanship. On the big day, Paul and his team came to the house early and got started. They ran into some unexpected problems as the plenums at the air handler had to be completely torn out and replaced. The original contractor had not installed them correctly which inhibited our air flow throughout the system. The guys worked in the hot attic for hours to tear out the old plenums and put in new ones. They also checked all of the ductwork to find any problems or issues. Two of our rooms were not getting enough air, so they worked in the attic to run a new return duct. The installation they did was first class. They masterfully installed the new condensor and air handler, ran new copper from the air handler to the condenser, installed the new plenums, patched up dry wall, fixed the drain line. Our new system runs great. Paul personally came back to our house a few times to put some finishing touches on the system, including a new UV bulb in our air handler. Before we went with Paul, he told me his team was wonderful, and that was true. There were three gentleman-- Ian, Josh, and one other whom I'm sorry I can't remember his name--- they were great. They worked so hard in the hot attic to help get our air conditioning running again. They cared about their work and they cared about getting my family cool again. Just excellent from start to finish. An actual owner providing a bid and explaining the process (not a sales person). An installation scheduled just days from order. A stunning installation crew: knowledgeable, respectful, and competent. Then the true mark of a professional: problems come up. Problem #1: the UV lights didn't arrive on time. No issue. Specialist and owner show up 2 days later and install. Problem #2: with all the new ducts, temperature wasn't balanced from one end of house to other. Solution: two days later, original install crew arrives, spends three hours of their own time fine tuning the system, upgrading, add an additional duct run, etc. Again, competent, clean and respectful of my time and intentions. I'm new to AC work in SW Florida, but lived in Las Vegas for a decade and never did find a competent, responsible firm there. Without doubt, more than satisfied and actually pleased that I was provided not just what, but MORE than I expected. Thank you Paul, etal. When you have your name on the firm, and do work like this, it matters.

They called before they came to see if they could come earlier. Very clean and nice. Thorough inspection.

The receptionist was patient in setting and changing appointments to meet my schedule. The technician arrived as scheduled. He fixed the problem and my AC has been keeping me cool this summer!

It went very smooth. They showed up when they said and took care of the job in the time they said it would. Everyone including owner is very professional, polite and clean. Was very helpful with any questions I had and explained the new system thoroughly. He started job with NO down payment and did not collect payment until i was 100% satisfied. The Trane system has been a very good investment and has functioned perfectly in the time since it was installed. I have seen a dramatic decrease in the electric bill and the quality of air in the home has improved greatly. I only wish that all contractors or service providers had the character and service that Reynolds does. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will ONLY use them in the future. I would say the only reason I gave a B for price is because it is expensive, however you get what you pay for and it should be more like an A-. You wont find a better A/C company.

I had an old Rheem system that was very energy wastful and had seen it's better day's. My monthly electric bill was in the high $200 to low $300 range. I had five Trane authorized dealers come out to quote a replacement system. The price difference between dealers was substantial. I made sure that they all quoted the same equipment and labor. Paul Renold's company came in the middle of the pack but in his presentation Paul was direct and answered questions posed that other dealers could not. The price difference from a Trane XL 16i to a 20 was $500. I also opted for a whole house a/c filter as our ceilings were 14 feet and so I would not have to change the high point one ever again. This beingr highest the end of June 2013 and having a few months of hot weather, my electric bill has been no higher than $210. I have just purchased another home and would not hesitate to change this existing system out with another Trane system when the time comes to renew this unit.

Technician was pleasant, knowledgeable, neat, efficient, explained what the AC inspection would cover and how he was going to do it. Provided photos of issues and addressed how best to handle the problem. I could not believe that each time he had to enter the house he put on shoe booties to protect our floors/carpets. He did a great job!

Reynolds Air defines outstanding customer service! Mike came out on Thursday and tried to fix my unit, but there was just too much wrong. He knew were having my daughter's wedding here on Saturday, and when the quick fix to get us cooling ( and baking wedding cakes) didn't work, Mike immediately got on the phone and arranged for a new unit to be installed the very next day. The installers were here on time, finished the job on time and cleaned up. Oh, I did I mention it was raining? These guys worked all day in the rain! Thank you Reynolds Air, you really did save the day!

Everything went very smoothly from start to finish with one exception. Because of rain, the installation had to be reschedule, but that is to be expected sometimes in SW Florida. Paul Reynolds was very easy to work with through the rescheduling. Paul gave me a very competitive estimate. He carefully answered all my questions. Paul has installed many Trane A/C systems in my community, and he promised a smooth installation. Paul and his crew (two others) came to my house at the scheduled time. The installation went well. It took about five hours from start to finish. About a week after the installation, Paul stopped over to my house to verify that there were no problems, and he gave me two filters. I was very satisfied with Paul and his crew's professionalism.

Our old AC system had been leaking freon since we bought our house two years ago. We knew that replacing both the air handler and the outdoor AC unit with a more efficient and eco-friendly system was the way to go. We called this company after reading the great reviews on Angie's List, and Paul Reynolds, the owner, came and provided a very competitive proposal. We were impressed with his thoroughness and his explanation of the options for our system. After getting several proposals from other companies, we chose Reynolds. His crew (Ian and Josh) arrived on time and were very professional. Over the two days the installation required, they explained everything they were doing and were extremely neat and thorough with the work they did. We are very happy with the work they did, and we highly recommend Reynolds Home Comfort

My AC unit was making a scary noise last night. I called Reynolds because a friend recommended them AND BECAUSE THEY HAD GREAT REVIEWS ON ANGIE'S LIST. Dan was here within an hour of my initial call. He explained that the noise was caused by ball bearings in my AC motor. He quoted 375 to replace the motor. Within 2 hours, it was in and paid for. Couldn't have asked for better service. Sue was right - he didn't attempt any upsell of any kind. Looks like I've found a new AC company!

I was not in residence at the time of installation but have been told that the men arrived on time and completed the work in the same day. I was very satisfied with the look of the installation.
