Description of Work: They replaced outdated A/C unit. The installation was quick and they were very thoughtful in supplying a temporary cooling unit for use in the interim. Would recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC services.

Description of Work: Pure Air performed a routine maintenance on the two A/C units of the house I recently purchased. I appreciated how the tech went above and beyond by explaining the type of units I had, the features, how to maintain them, etc. I was really impressed by the service and professionalism. It surpassed my expectations.

Description of Work: An A/C tune-up was paid for and scheduled through Angie's list. The first technician that arrived was not aware I had already paid for the service. That was not a problem, since he just marked the invoice. Total services paid for was $59.00. | |Judging the time the tech was at my house (20 minutes), I began to question the quality of the work. The owner of the company contacted me and set up another appointment so he could check out the work. The first tech worked at his company for just one day. | |After examing the work, the owner offered to do a second, more comprehensive tune-up. I told him to proceed. He did an excellent job. He charged me a total of $89, $59 of which I originally paid. I told him I had already paid for the service, but paid the additional charge. I also found out there was other problems to fix, estimated at $2,500. | |There are communication problems within the company and Angie's List. No one repeated my complaint verbatim. I had to explain the problem each time I communicated the issue, since no one comprehended what I said. I finally took matters in my hands and resolved the problem. | |With regard to the work performed, Rob did an excellent job, and I would book him again.

Description of Work: Standard summer A/C service. Tech was polite and knowledgeable. It had been two years since the last service on our 5-year-old unit, so we decided to purchase the 3-year maintenance contract, so we wouldn't let it slip so long again. We needed refrigerant, but he only had a little over one pound, which wasn't enough, so he had to come back the next day to finish. He was punctual for both visits and called a bit ahead of his arrivals to let us know he was on his way.

Description of Work: I originally purchased the $59 coupon from Angie's List. I had to call them to make an appointment for the following week. My first appointment was cancelled and a 2nd was scheduled a week later. They did keep the appointment for 06/20. They found a problem with my duct work, made a temporary fix, and gave me an estimate. I accepted the estimate, asked for some additional work, and signed up for their 5 year maintenance program. Scheduled the work for the following Friday 06/27 and paid in full. They cancelled again on me yesterday 06/27. The gentleman said he would call me back with a new date/time and try to come out today 06/28. As of this date/time, I have not received a call back. I called their office number and you get an answering service. I work out of town Mon-Thur and their receiving a message from me on Monday does not help me resolve this situation before I leave town. I am extremely disappointed with this company. They appear to be too busy to provide quality customer service.
