Description of Work: Service was very basic, primarily an inspection and cleaning. Filter was new, so it was not changed. Inspection revealed mold on our condenser coil in extreme amounts. No previous service has ever mentioned this. Service person showed photos taken with his phone and proposed various, rather expensive services that could correct the situation. We were alarmed by the prices quoted and will be seeking a second opinion before taking any action. Still, very good price for inspection and basic cleaning.

Description of Work: I FIRST PURCHASED A CERTIFICATE TO SANITIZE MY AIR DUCTS AT THE COST OF $199.00. WHEN SCOTT CAME TO MY HOUSE TO DO THE JOB HE SAID I SHOULD HAVE THE DUCTS CLEANED BEOFRE I SANITIZE THEM.I AGREED TO DO THIS AT AN ADDITIONAL COST OF $776.00. SINCE I WAS GOIGN AWAY FOR AWHILE THE JOB COULDN'T BE DONE UNTIL I RETURNED. PURE AIR THEN HAD A SPECIAL THRU ANGIE'S LIST FOR AIR DUCT CLEANING AT $299.99. I CONTACTED PURE AIR AND ASKED IF I PURCHASED THIS CERTIFICATE WOULD THEY HONOR THE PRICE.I WASTOLD THEY WOULD AND I HAD THE ENTIRE JOB DONE (CLEANING AND SANTIZING) FOR $498.00 INSTEAD OF $975.00. I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE JOB AND COST AND REFERRED PURE AIR TO A FRIEND WHO HAD THE SMAE SERVICE PERFORMED AND A NEW AC UNIT INSTALLED ALSO AND SHE WAS VERY HAPPY.

Description of Work: The technician checked out both the inside and outside units for the air conditioner. The inside unit was old but still working, however the outside unit was very rusted and the efficiency was poor. We decided to replace the air conditioner and the technician helped us to schedule a replacement very quickly.

Description of Work: They replaced our A/C system in our condo (air handler and compressor). They were on time and took just slightly longer to finish than originally forecast. The workers were very conscientious and worked in a very neat, clean fashion. We did the work at a time of year (December) when they are not busy, so were able to negotiate a good price.

Our pricing of ac equipment depends upon the system being installed, thermostat, UV lighting, duct work, etc. Pure Air is competitive in our pricing and we do also include a 1 & 3 year preventative maintenance program with all new installs which includes: No trip charge for service calls, priority service and scheduling, 365 day/24 hr emergency service if your ac does not cool or has any problems, 20% discount on parts, 20% discount on labor after the first hour and 10% off new equipment. We also maintain manufacturers warranties. The plan also provides a yearly preventative clean and check to maintain and avoid issues which increases the life of your new ac equipment and maximizes efficiency to reduce energy cost. If you would like to call our office and speak with the owner I am sure he would beat or meet our competitors pricing with a comparable product if not the same product quoted if it is at all feasible.
