Description of Work: Maintenance of Air Conditioner. They made it sound like I needed new air conditioner right away, very pushy. Talked me into a maintenance agreement, because they made it sound like I had to do this, because I was going to have a problem.

Hello, Looks like we have a 2007 Goodman system here. Nothing wrong with that, however Goodman is the lowest rated HVAC manufacturer available for dependability. This is according to Consumer Reports ratings for dependability. It is also an R-22 system, refrigerant that is being phased out now for the last few years. I don't see anything on the invoice in regards to your system immediately failing. But please keep this in mind, any system needs regular maintenance. We look forward to servicing you in the future. Description of Work: Bought a service coupon for the AC. The AC went on the fritz. This is our vacation home and my daughter lives there full time. Set up a day and appt which was good for both my daughter's and Pure Air's schedule. Appt was for a three hour window. The tech was to call when they were out about 15-30 mins from the home. Never received a call and the appt was never met by the company. Pls note that I scheduled the appt on the phone with their scheduler who confirmed it with the supervisor who was standing next to her at the time. I called the next day and the scheduler was shocked. I asked that my coupon be refunded which they did through the mail a bout 5-7 days later. Had another Angies List AC company out at a better price and received a quote to replace the system. After getting a second opinion and quote went with the Angie's list contractor. Pure Air lost the opportunity for a $6000 sales.
