Description of Work: We purchased a deal they had through Angie's List to have them take a look at our a/c and perform routine maintenance. He cleaned our filter, flushed the line, added algae tabs, tested float switch, etc. He made sure everything was in working condition.

Description of Work: They do great work, they brought us a portable AC unit for our bedroom while we waited for our unit. They did a great job explaining the cost to repair our current unit and weighing the pros and cons of repair vs new system. We opted for a high efficiency 2 stage system from Rheem and are very very happy. It was a significant investment, but they took the time to help us optimize our duct work (we added a new return in the bedroom) to make the bedroom the coolest room in the house. We did purchase the nest thermostat which is a upgrade but is very cool. The two stage system was worth it, runs more at lower speed drawing out more humidity. If you live in Florida and own your home, investing in a high quality AC and getting a good install is well worth the investment.

I had an air conditioning issue just recently after the could spell and they were here in less than an hour. they fixed the problem (capacitor) and agreed to sign me up for a maintenance plan in exchange for the cost of the service call and capacitor. i was kind of surprised after dealing with other companies in the past because he already had me for over $150. i can tell they want long term customers because they agreed to service it for the next three years for less than $300. great company!!!

Description of Work: PURE AIR CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE. I WAS TOLD INITIALLY THAT MY 5 TON UNIT WAS GOING TO HAVE TO BE REPLACED. BUT AFTER CHECKING IT OUT, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT IT WAS OPERATING FINE AND DIDN'T NEED TO BE REPLACED AT ALL. THAT WAS MY INITIAL CONCERN ALSO. COULD NOT REPLACE THE FILTER AS I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING TO HOLD IT IN PLACE. APPARENTLY THEY ONLY USE WASHABLE FILTERS. I WONDER WHY THEY DO NOT KEEP OTHER FILTERS AVAILABLE FOR THIS OCCASION ?? ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SO MANY SIZES I CAN UNDERSTAND THE REASON. BUT THAT IS PART OF WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. CHECK THE COIL BUT I WAS TOLD HE COULD NOT GET TO IT. CLEAN THE OUTSIDE/INSIDE OF THE UNIT. SAID HE PUT PELLETS IN THE PAN TO PREVENT ANY GROWTH. CHECKED THE OUTSIDE UNIT FOR GENERAL OPERATION AND COOLING. CAME INSIDE AND CHECKED THE TEMP THAT WAS COMING OUT OF THE VENTS. ALL ALL APPEARED TO BE GOOD !!

Description of Work: This ac company gave my landlord an ac estimate for his house and the rental I'm in. I was shocked when they put both air conditioner in on the same day. They also did air duct cleaning. No call backs, passed permitting and ac inspection. The new air conditioning system is much quieter than the old heating and air conditioning system. I would recommend this air conditioning contractor to anyone I know. Very happy with the air conditioning repair that was done few months ago as well to keep it running for a bit while my landlord Bill was making his decision on what air conditioning units to buy.

They came out over the weekend and fixed my air conditioner with there free hvac service call coupon. As we all know air conditioning is a must in naples florida. I was so happy with the air conditioning service I received that I signed up for their ac maintenance plan and had them do my duct cleaning. They seem to carry the best air conditioning units as well so I know that my air conditioning needs to be replaced down the road I know who to call. I have used many hvac companies in the past but none repaired my heating and air conditioning system as quickly as Pure Air. Five star hvac service in my opinion!!

After I placed a call, that evening a gentleman came to help me, he checked on the air conditioning unit, confirmed its condition and quoted a price for replacement. He owned the company and due to the holiday, did not want to bother his employees on Christmas Monday.

Description of Work: Pure Air came over to install a new air conditioner. They also replaced and serviced the replacement air conditioner whenever there were any problems. They provided the service in the period starting from March 2010 and ending in March 2011.
