Pure Air

I have used this company before for a new a/c unit. They prepared an estimate for some duct work and then were supposed to prepare an estimate for another repair. I never heard back from them with the other estimate nor did they follow up on the initial estimate they prepared.

Terrible. Would never do business with this outfit. We tried to get a refund for the work that was never performed, and finally gave up.

They came out about a week or 2 after I scheduled them and they stayed within the offered price range. They did what they said they would do.

He checked the AC and said it didn't need any freon. It was fine. He inspected the unit and discussed it with us and was very nice.

It was fine. He came out done the work he was supposed to do.

Everything went well. No problems found with our system. Especially liked the suggestion to put in filters on each return air vent to prevent gunk from building up in the duct work. We will definitely be doing that.

Technician was polite, professional and took the time to explain things and answer questions.

Very kind and professional technician. However, they told me I needed a new system and the cost would be several thousand dollars which was all a sales pitch. Got a second opinion from Lamont AC Services and they gave me an honest evaluation, remediated the issues and are exceptional all the way around - very trustworthy.

I called Pure Air at 12:30PM and by 2:00PM they had their tech at our condo to save us from baking in the heat. Anytime I call pure air they are always polite and professional. They never try to pressure me into anything. I called around to get a few quotes on a new system and on a freon recharge, and Pure Air gave a competitive price if not cheaper than any other quote. As stated above we always expect to spend a bunch of money on freon (to buy us some time, until we can afford a new system) and Pure Air always cuts us a break each time! I highly recommend this company, they are honest, professional, and very helpful. Before finding Pure Air we actually got ripped off by another company. Everyone always asks around by word of mouth looking to find a company that is just honest. If you are like me you don't even want a deal, you just want an honest company that does a good job at a fair price. Well, Pure Air has my vote in this department. Thank you again!

Pure Air was punctual and efficient in their evaluation. They gave important advice and suggestions for keeping the system operating at peak form.

TK OR TJ - SORRY CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH BUT HE WAS A VERY NICE AND KNEW ALL THE ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. AT THE END OF THE SERVICE WE DISCUSSED A MAINTENANCE CONTRACT WHICH WAS VERY REASONABLE AND I SIGNED UP. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.

After having another vendor come out yesterday and not only charge us an exorbitant amount for what they did, we were told we had mold (no they didn't do any testing) and we should invest in an UV solution to the tune of $4700. After I looked up the price of the part they charged us $175 for, which was actually a $18 part, I began questioning their intent and recommendations. They were pushy about signing a $99 service agreement which would have taken the UV solution down to $3495. I did not sign an agreement and politely told the gentleman that we would get a second opinion, to his visible dismay. My wife works in commercial insurance and asked for a recommendation from coworkers and associates. She called and setup the appointment with Pure Air immediately. Josh came out this morning promptly. I told him what what had happened and what the other vendor had done and that I wanted his recommendation based on what he saw. Basically we had water dripping in the air handler unit. The other vendor came out, said the check valve was bad and would costs $175 (that was the $18 part and 5 mins to fix) and that they system needed cleaned/drain backflushed $291. Total $466. Then came the mold scare, blower motor needed taken apart and cleaned, we really needed a UV solution and that mold was basically being spewed throughout the house. So all the while Josh was taking things apart he was explaining things to me to help me better understand. I am a network engineer by trade so HVAC is not my strong suit as evident by grossly overpaying the vendor the previous day. Not only was Josh very experienced, he was able to help me understand why everything that the other vendor mentioned was not needed. My condenser, which was just replaced last year, looked great and that the blower motor did not need taken apart and cleaned. There was normal buildup in the plenum but after looking at vents throughout the house, there was no evidence any of that was making it that far. Long story short, Josh was honest and to the point. He could have also tried to sell me a bill of goods ut didn't. The total costs for Josh's time, information and education was $0. I asked him about when should we do service based on his findings and he said February'ish. You can absolutely bet that shoudl anything happen before February with my home AC or pool heat etc., Pure Air is whom I will be calling. Guaranteed I will be using them in February no matter. Glad to see that there are still some responsible and respectable vendor choices in Naples Florida.

I got an email stating the dispatcher, Morgan, would be calling me later on today so that they could set up time for scheduling. I never got a phone call from that provider at all. This made me feel a little nervous in moving forward with them, which has caused me to request a refund.

My rental condo's A/C unit went out - just as the season's first renters were arriving. So it was important that the job was done quickly and professionally. Pure Air responded with a same-day service call, showed me the problem (unit was unrepairable), and offered a good replacement system that could be installed the very next day. At first presentation, the price was initially high, but they were able to come down a bit and throw in a couple extra years of free maintenance. The installation experience was great... the installers showed up right on time, were very professional, and busted their humps all day long without stopping. I'd definitely recommend Pure Air - they're not the cheapest, I'm sure, but... you get what you pay for.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out good. They are a good company. The only thing that was good about them, was that they told you what was wrong, but they didn't push you to do it.

They never showed up, or called. I spoke with with their office and they wanted to reschedule. I am going to use another provider.

Novie showed up on time and was very professional. He thoroughly examined the system and solved the problem which was that it needed coolant. We ended up buying a service contract because we were so impressed.

I was not satisfied with work done from a different company, so I wanted a second opinion to make my mind at ease. When he came out, he said everything was fine and would not even take a payment for a service call fee. I will be using their services in the future for my A/C needs.

It went well. They did a good job. It was a Big Deal purchase. There was no additional charge.

It went well. They wound up replacing my AC unit which was more expensive than I expected, but the people who worked on it were great.

It turned out fine. They came and did a professional job. I actually signed out with them for recurring contract so that was good.

It worked out fine except that some things happen out of coincidence. After two weeks when they serviced it, the whole system blew up. They came out and defrosted it but ten days later, it blew up again. For the first service, they charged me an additional three hour. Then when they came back, they charged me for the parts.
