We received a quick response of which we appreciated, because it is rough being without the use of your kitchen sink. They were quick and efficient and very reasonable in cost.

They were prompt. Two men got right to work and explained what they were doing, as the proceeded. Everything was complete and cleaned up within about one hour. From the quotes I got - they were very fair and offered a 10% discount to Angie's List Members on everything they did. I could highly recommend this company for this service.

I called them to come replace the guts in all three of my toilets. The young man left and I paid them for it. Two of the three of the toilets did not work after he left. He made two trips after the installation and finally he was able to fix one toilet but I still have two toilets not working. I called them up and they were supposed to send the owner out to fix the problem and that has been six days ago. I have not heard from them since.

The Tech picked up the trim and returned a few hours later that same afternoon, and installed and checked out the new equipment . It looks and works just great. A welcome improvment over the old faucet and well worth the money. The cost of the new faucet and the work to install it was very reasonable too. The ProTec people were just great; nice guy in the office who listened to my proplem and promptly scheduled their Technichian to check it out. The Tech, Matt was very pleasant and professional and worked quickly and efficiently. I would certainly recommend them( as a matter of fact, I already have.) and will use then again when the need arises.

Technician was Matt. He was very pleasant, courteous, clean, and professional. He asked the right questions to get to the bottom of the problem quickly and got after it immediately. The problem was a stubborn one, and he was persistent until it was resolved.

Our kitchen sink dropped from the counter top and our first response was to check Angies List for either a plumber and/or a kitchen cabinet store. The plumbers prices were less expensive and after making a few phone calls, decided to go with Pro-Tec. We heard water running in the master bath when no water was on in the house. Checked the meter, sure enough, that dial was just spinning away! Called another plumber on Angie's list and he wanted to send out someone to "find" the leak for $300.00 and then he would come and fix it. Decided to try someone else and called Pro-Tec. They were swamped that day, but had someone in the area who came by and found and fixed the leak. There actually were 2 leaks. They were fast, efficient and fairly priced. That evening we found a small problem -- no water in a couple of places in the house. They came right back out and fixed the problem. Again, they were very knowledgeable and fair. I will never call anyone else for plumbing and I recommend them to any and everyone I know who needs plumbing service.

I had/have a leaking toilet. I called around 6 p.m. the night before so to make arrangements for someone to come out. Spoke with the guy and he advised that he could have someone here first thing in the morning at 8:00 a.m. I then arranged/cancelled my work day so to be here - in the morning hours to greet the plumber, etc. I waited until 8:30 a.m. before I got a bit concerned. Called and spoke with Brandon who advised me that something really strange happened - that my name had somehow gotten completely removed off of their scheduling list. He opted to try to squeeze me in later in the day - but I declined, figuring that things had already gotten off to a bad start - why go even further. I should have called a more reliable company in the first place - now calling other plumbers this morning - they are all booked up - it will be yet another day with a leaky toilet and yet another day of cancelling my work schedule to accomodate and greet yet another plumber.

This company is an example of how the work and business should be done. The best experience I've ever had! It all started with the water backing up in the downstairs bathroom of our condo. The first plumber I called (my friend recommended) gave me an estimate that I could never afford. Besides I had to pay for the estimate! That is when I turned to Angie's list and started calling all plumbers listed here. But nobody was taking the job, because it included outside plumbing/digging. By the time I called Pro-Tec Plumbing, I did not think anybody could do this kind of work! They scheduled an appointment, came on time, did a (FREE!!) estimate, which was almost a fifth part of what the first plumber estimated! I could not believe it! They made a detailed description of the job to be done for our Association and when I had an approval in my hands, they scheduled an appointment right away. They were working all day. They had to dig up the sewer line leading from the townhouse to the main sewer line. They replaced the pipes. They also took such a great care of the landscaping, that you could never tell that the place was dug up! They replaced the sod and put fresh mulch that they purchased upfront. What a job! I never heard from the Association (the Board sent me a letter saying that I would have to pay the Association's Landscaper if he had to fix our landscape, but it was not necessary). I would certainly use their services again and recommend them to all my friends!

Called plumber on a Sunday at 12;45p and arrived at home at 2:00p..very knowledgable courteous and efficient. Quick to respond to emergency call very attentive and kept all promises. Such a reliable company would use again anytime.

Price seemed to be fair, response and installation time was great. Will definitely use Pro Tec Plumbing again in the future for any plumbing needs.

Over the weekend my husband and I noticed a little puddle of water on the floor around the toilet in the master bathroom. After cleaning it up I had noticed a small crack at the base of the toilet. The toilet was old, ugly, and now that it had a small crack at the bottom I finally had a reason to give my husband to replace that thing since I have wanted to from the day we bought the house. About a month and a half ago we had used Pro-Tec Plumbing to install a new water heater and the experience was great so there was no doubt in my mind of who to call. Even though it was a Saturday and this was not an emergency I decided to give a call that way I could leave a message to get it dealt with on Monday. To my surprise instead of an answering service I was able to speak with the office manager Brandon to get the ball rolling. He was very personable and took the time to give me a few recommendations as well as the websites so I could take a look at them. After going online I called him back and decided to go with the Kohler Highline toilet that he so highly recommended. He told me he would have a plumber there Monday around lunchtime to install the toilet, which I was very impressed they could have that ordered and ready so quickly. Sure enough Monday around 12:30 his plumber showed up installed the new toilet, removed the old one, and had everything as clean as it were before they got there. I am so thrilled that I went with Brandon's recommendation; the toilet looks great, is extremely comfortable, and has a very powerful flush as he had suggested. I could not be happier with this experience from start to finish.

I called ProTec when I needed my drain cleaned. I noticed them from the truck I saw around town, remembered the name and looked them up. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast they took care of the problem, the men were very nice. From the first phone call to the bill, all was efficient and as delightful an experience as drain cleaning could ever be.

I called Pro-Tec Plumbing first thing in the morning when my husband went to take a shower and there was no hot water. They sent a technician, Richard out within an hour to diagnose the problem. After inspection Rick pointed out that the heater was 13 years old and showed me where it started to leak on to the electrical wires. I was extremely impressed with his vast knowledge regarding the subject and that he took the time to explain all of the different options for new water heater replacement. My husband and I just purchased this home and decided to go with a Rheem Marathon water heater which came with a lifetime warranty so we never have to worry about this again. Rick came back at the end of the day with the new heater and had us up and running shortly after. I have never hired a contractor that showed such professionalism and care for the job at hand. I will definitely use and recommend Pro-Tec Plumbing to anyone looking for a plumber.

Rick came out and did the quick install of the 3 sinks and shower trims, it took about three hours. Unfortunately, the kitchen sink was not done properly. I called about the leak. They forgot about it the first time I called, but when I called back a week later they came right away. Not a big issue since the house was not occupied. The problem was when Rick did show he messed it up four times within the course of about an hour and then had the audacity to be indignant about it like someone had put a vodoo curse on him and it wasn't him that screwed it up four times. I really have to question his thoroghness and professionalism after that very unpleasant experience.

I hired Pro-Tec to install a shower pan and drill out a broken screw in my shower tub. I had a sunken shower and all the plumbers agreed a shower pan for a below-ground sunken tub should not be necessary but the City required it. The original plumber I used said it would cost $500 to do the work. The City Inspector said that was too much so I called Rick at Pro-Tec and he quoted me $200. I would first like to say it pains me to have to give someone such a bad review and particularly Pro-Tec because I have to give them an A for responsiveness and find them generally very likeable. The concern is regarding quality and judgement. They basically took it upon themselves to add a number of items to the work list without asking me that more than doubled the cost of the original quote, but not even that is my major gripe. The problem was that the work they did was not only unnecessary, but created other potential hazards and concerns that they did not acknowledge. What they did because the wall was open where the two bathroom sinks were when the wall tile was removed is that they took it upon themselves to cut the pipes into the wall without asking me and added PVC extensions. The city inspector passed it and said a lot of plumbers are doing this these days, but the City requires no leak testing because they had not come up with a good way of doing so. Also, instead of drilling out the screws on the tub overflow, Brian cut out the pipes and installed PVC. When I complained, Rick called me back right away. He was polite and reassured me that these were all good things. At this point, I did not want to switch plumbers again so I went along for the ride.Unfortunately, later I discovered that the hubris and reassurance were questionable at best. Later, they had to come back five times to fix leak problems once for the shower pan Brian installed which Rick fixed right away. Trustingly, I gave them the benefit of the doubt on the that one. Unfortunately, when had them come back a second time to finish the job, Rick ended up coming back four times in the course of about one hour to finally fix the kitchen sink leak. He was indignant about doing it instead of being apologetic as if someone had placed a curse on him or something, and it wasn't him messing it up four times and not checking his work properly. Now I am relying on prayers that the work in the walls is correct. They also installed my tub overflow about 3 inches too low after replacing the pipe that did not need to be replaced and was work that was not requested or authorized.

I sent an email to Pro-Tek through Angie's List and got a rapid response from the company owner who quickly answered my questions and set up a mutually agreeable date (within days) to install the toilet. He even offered to come much sooner, but I was unavailable to meet him.The company technician, Billy, arrived promptly, in an identifiable company shirt, ready to get to work. He was professional, polite, pleasant, and very competent. In no time, he had my new toilet installed and working properly. I asked him about the possibility of installing a vanity and, after looking it over, said that it would be possible for him to do an installation on a new vanity. I will be contacting them again for their services -- not just for installations but for other work as well. We even discussed the challenges of replacing my sink, disposal, and dishwasher in the kitchen.I should mention that the condo is at least 40 years old and all the appliances and facilities are original from the 70s. Even with that as a challenge, Billy had no problem at all in taking care of business, quickly, efficiently, and reasonably.I highly recommend Pro-Tec and will be calling on them again.

I found a plumbing company with an A rating on Angie's List in Naples, Florida where I reside. I received a call from the owner the same afternoon and he came by to take a look at the situation. A 350 LB cultured marble tub that was in the way and I hated to even look at it any longer. It was a crucial first step in a remodel plan and I could not get any other company to come over without giving me huge estimates of entire bathroom remodels. I just wanted the freaking tub out! Rick from Pro-Tek Plumbing asked if the 13th would be OK. I said great. Two young men showed up and disconnected the tub. They installed the shut off valves I had requested and attempted to load this monstrosity on a hand truck. The idea was to not shatter cultured marble shads all over, so an attempt was made to get it out in one piece. This was tough. It would be an understatement to call it back breaking hard work. These two young guys never gave up, got it through the bedroom, slid it on towels across the tiles foyer without a scratch. They made it to the garage door and had to use a sawzall to get rid of the faucet fixture stem and out to the truck they went. Then for ease of removal and my enjoyment it was broken into one hundred pieces which was swept up to the last spec of dust.These guys got the job done and I would call them back. I intend to use Pro-Tek for all future plumbing during the remodel and any that arise in the future. They are a keeper @ a reasonable fair price. Jeffrey L. Cooperstrein

The person answering the phone was very helpful and able to schedule someone to come out when it worked for my schedule. I called Pro-Tech for a stem valve issue in one of our showers. Usually this should be easy to remove, and I would have done it myself but it was so corroded they needed a blow torch to heat up the pipes to get the old one out. I had purchased all the parts I needed because I thought it would be easy to do. They used all my parts and didn't try to charge me for anything new.Brian, showed up exactly when I expected him. He was nice, friendly and was able to get the job done. Brian even put on the new shower handle for me just because it was sitting in the package next to the tub. The cost was very reasonable for all the work he had to do for this crazy valve.I would call Pro-Tech again.

They are absolutely fantastic. Their service is very satisfactory. They work in a timely manner and I am very comfortable with their fees.
