Description of Work: We were selling our house and the inspector found the drain pan under the water heater not to be up to code because it was cracked. After calling around, many companies were unwilling to take on this job unless we were replacing the water heater. Pro-Tec Plumbing was willing to come do the work at a reasonable hourly rate and thanks to Angie's List I also got a 10% discount. Now we can close on the house, worry free. Thank you Pro- Tec Plumbing for your help! we will call you again if we need anything at the new house.

+ -1 moreI was in need of a diagnosis and repair on a mixer valve in my bathroom shower. I called Pro-Tec and spoke with Branden and explained the problem and the fixes my brother and I had tried and the fact that this was my only available shower. Branden was able to get Rick out to my house within 20 minutes. Rick troubleshooted the problem with my brother and told my brother some options that he could try on his own; otherwise, Rick could order a part, with expedited shipping, and have me up and running within a couple of days. My brother followed Rick's instructions and was able to fix the problem on his own. Rick was very user friendly, gave us clear and sound advice, and I will definitely call again for any other plumbing needs I have.
Description of Work: Water would not come out of my shower faucet except for a trickle. Rick came out and provided us with diagnostic information regarding my mixing valve on the shower and some possible solutions we could try on our own. If those didn't work, he would be able to order the part that he felt would be the next step and then he could come back and install that part.

Description of Work: ProTech called me right away after voicemail was left and the service was scheduled for the next business day. Brian came (he was punctual) and actually wowed us :). Very professional and the service provided was outstanding. New plumping pipes needed to be constructed for our new sink/countertops and also hooking up the dishwasher including replacing the garbage disposal. Cost was very very reasonable and we definitely will use ProTec Plumping again for near future projects. Thank you.

+ 2 moreI was very satisfied with the service. The water tank was l8 years old so it was probably time for a change anyway but I was not expecting such a large expense on the day before I was due to return home to Canada.
Description of Work: Tray under water tank was filling up with water. Called the Air Conditioner company that installed the AC to report same. Service man came to my home and inspected the AC and said the problem was not with the AC but with the water tank. I called Pro-Tec Plumbing who arrived on time and installed a new water tank. Two hours later the tray was again filled with water. Called Pro-Tec again at around 5 p.m. and reported the problem. The service man later arrived at my home and discovered that the problem was not with the water tank but with the AC in that the condensation pipe was leaking because it was blocked and required to be flushed out which he did. I called the AC repairman who originally had said that the AC was working properly, when in fact it was not, and reported the findings of the plumber. The owner of the AC company came to my home to confirm that this was indeed the case and refunded me the service call I had paid to him.
