Description of Work: They replace a defective fan that was overheating my computer. He took extra time to find and order one from China that saved me about $80.00. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Will use them again .

Description of Work: Had a problem with my emai as I could not receive messages and kept getting a popup to enter my username and password for gmail. I've had gmail for approximately 1 1/2 years and never received this popup before. Since I could not remember my password I could not recover from the problem. Bill called and resolved the problem for me over the phone and did not charge me anything! He is extrmely knowlegeable and very professional. I will be mailing him a check for $25 even though he told me there would not be a charge. Guess who is going to get my computer service in the future!

Description of Work: I've been having ongoing difficulty with my computer freezing up when I try to open or stream video files. All the fixes I have tried to date, including computer manufacturer technical support, have not worked. I searched Angie's List for a local service that could help. Bill D'Antuono, the owner of North Naples Computers, was very helpful when I called him as a result of the recommendations I saw on the List. He volunteered very clear and helpful steps for me to try in solving the problem. I haven't followed those steps yet but was very impressed that Bill would be so helpful and at no cost. He talked to me for almost a half hour. His kindness and technical knowledge is very much appreciated. I also know that if these steps don't work I have a place that I can take my computer to have a professional fix it.

Description of Work: Initially, Bill provided free advice over the phone regarding a potential antivirus problem. The next day, for completely unrelated reasons, the computer's capacitor blew out and we called Bill. He recommended that we bring the computer tower to his location and gave us an estimate of $75 for the labor and $30 for a new power supply. He also offered to double the memory in the computer with memory salvaged from discarded computers and to tune-up our computer. The total with tax came to $111.30. He not only saved my computer but now it runs much faster. Bill is a nice person, has fair prices, and it is a pleasure to do business with him. We highly recommend his services.

Description of Work: Mr. Bill attempted to fix my older computer but it was just that "too old and too tired". I worked with Bill in having him build me a new computer which so far is functioning great. I know I would call on Bill again for his services.

Description of Work: I telephone the owner, Mr. D'Antuono, and left a message. Within an hour, he returned my call and suggested that he could walk me through the process of re-connecting my printer to my laptop via wireless. He said it would save me the price of a service call. Mr. D'Antuona spent at least 1/2 hr. detailing how to do the procedure and I took notes, since I had to leave for an appointment. He said to call him back, if I had any trouble with re-connecting. A day later I got time to try to do it and it worked. I called him that day to thank him and said that I would send a small check for his help and generosity.

Description of Work: Oh my goodness, what a nice individual, who has more computer knowledge in his little finger, then I would hope to grasp in a life time. He will pick up or allow you to drop off your computer, whatever works best for the customer. I had crashed basically my laptop that I purchased from Dell in October 2009. I had all the warranties for two year coverage on this particular laptop. My computer had a Windows' glitch, that literally wiped my computer out. Now, after at least 4 hours of semi-patient waiting with dell tech advisors, bottom line this particular problem was a Windows' issue, and they could not be of any help to me. I am now having panic attacks!!!!! My nephew referred me to a local company to have everything reloaded, and I took a step of faith, and found North Naples Computers, from Angie's list! I found Mr D'Autuono (Bill) an honest,patient computer genius,when it comes to understanding what a 54 year old self taught computer operator is in trouble. I will never, again, struggle, or be intimidated, to ask for HELP again. He returned my call within 24 hours, called to make sure I knew where he lived, and reconfirmed my delivery time. Within less then 18 hours, he called to say he had saved my computer, updated all software, and would drop it off to my condominium. The only time we discussed pricing, was when I asked for an estimate for the computer repair. I was not asked or told that we only accept cash, check, credit card, etc...and not to forget the time for a service call, and diagnosis of the computer....I was encouraged by not being questioned on how I was going to pay for the repair. The business card is accurate when Bill lists his services to include: Custom Built Computers, Upgrades, Repairs, On Site Service, Tutoring, Internet Access, SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!

Description of Work: Restored all functions and cleaned out bad programs on laptop computer. Cleaned out bad programs on desk top computer. Set up secure wireless system for both computers.

Description of Work: Our computer was not behaving, was very slow and not backing up it's stored info properly. In addition, the computer has never been able to perform any automatic updates. All issues were fixed and he also installed anti-virus program and memory free of charge.

He called the company for us and fixed the problem, getting us a refund of $70. My CD drivers were worn out, he ordered new and replaced them, showing me how to work them.

Description of Work: My computer was slow as molasses and needed something to increase the speed. Also my printer was not working properly, and between print jobs, I had to turn off the computer and restart it to get it to print again. In addition, my security system slowed down my computer. Mr. D'Antuono fixed the problems, and now my computer speed is fast, and my printer works as it should.
