Description of Work: Dismantled front door locking mechanism - reconnected loose screw which prevented proper operation. Lubricated all moving parts to the door mechanisms and tightened the screws on the hinge so that the door smoothly opens and closes.

Description of Work: When I called Key Locksmith, I had an appointment the next day. I needed my parents home re-keyed and Jon Chavers was the provider that arrived that day. He was on time and very professional. The locks on my parents house were very dated and he need a special tool to do the job. He went back to the shop and returned with the equipment and it was no time before he was finished. He cleaned and adjusted all of the locks and made 10 keys for me. I would definitely recommend this company. They truly believe in customer service!

He was such a nice young man, very professional and had me in my home within 30 minutes. Not only did he let me in, I also had him to rekey all the locks at the same time.  + -1 moreWe hired Key Locksmith Services which we found on Angie's List with a very good review. The owner's name is Key and he couldn't have been more professionsal. My husband had the first conversation with him and was quite impressed. I followed up with a call to him to provide Key with an understanding of what I wanted as well as asking him several questions and what his recommendations would be. He is an excellent communicator and made me feel that he was the person for the job. We made arrangements for him to perform the task that week. Once Key was in the house and inspected the situation for himself, he called me to discuss each and every lock. He provided me with recommendations and options so that I could make decisions. As usual, he explained everything with clarity. The job was bigger than we originally anticipated, but I believe his price was fair. I would highly recommend Key Locksmith Services and if I need locksmith services in the future, this company would be the first one I would call.
Description of Work: Some locks replaced and some re-keyed to ultimately have one key to fit all doors except one which was re-keyed for a different key. Some door handles replaced.

 + -1 moreWe were working against a very tight schedule, and Mr. Powell agreed to do our job the same day we contacted him, after he finished his last already scheduled appointment for the day. He told us he anticipated he could be at our house between 4:30 and 5:00 PM, and he arrived well within that time span. He was cordial and professional, worked quickly, and carefully tested each key he made in every lock before announcing the job was completed. I have no reservations about recommending him to family and friends.
Description of Work: We had Mr. Powell re-key 4 new, installed dead-bolts and 5 entryway locksets (at a home we had just purchased and closed on that morning) so that we would have a single master key for all the entrances. We also had him make 4 duplicates of the master key.

Description of Work: Key replaced the entrance lock on a condo I recently purchased. He met us at Home Depot to help us choose the exact lock we wanted. He stocks locks but I wanted to learn more about them and make my own decision and he helped greatly with this step. He then came to the condo and replaced the deadbolt with an electronic one and also the door knob.

 + -1 moreTwo weeks ago I contacted Key Powell because he was on Angie's List. He was proud to be on Angie's List. We come from Mass. and were not disappointed. Key and I arranged a time to meet and was very flexible. He was professionally dressed, polite and introduced himself. After he changed the locks and through our conversation with Key, it was apparent that he had a lot of skills about property management. We were so impressed that we arranged to have him manage our property.
Description of Work: We had front door lock replaced, mailbox lock replaced, as well as a code on a lockbox changed.
