Hydrotech Pools Inc

Buying a new house and I used Hydrotech to inspect the system and test the pool and spa for leaks prior to purchase. They were very thorough and the 2 men who did the work were very professional and couldn't have been nicer. Communicating with the office was easy and responsive. Great service all around.

They were able to fix problem quickly Spa no longer losing water to pool. Definitely would use again.

It turned out pretty good, still I think little bit of leaking in, but I talked to the gentleman and he said it was roundabout half an inch leak still and I am not sure that is the right answer, but. They said they would come back, but they said it is little bit of a water difference in a weak will be really difficult to find. I didn't spend anything extra. I would not recommend them because they are only here for couple of minutes and still losing water somewhere. They were responsive and were here right away and punctual. I would not use them again in the future.

Two young men came and one got in pool and swam underwater with a chemical device that detects leaks in my vinyl lined in ground pool. They found about six small leaks and put patches on the leaks. The next day my pool's water level was still down at same level. I phoned the company and told them about it and was assured that they would come back when in the area. As of yet, they have not attempted to contact me about a return visit. It was a wasted $99.00.

We originally bought an Angies Big Deal for Pool Leak Detection. The tech that came out was VERY thorough ~ in and out of the pool. He determined that the leak was in our heater not the pool itself. He then said he would have his manager come out to confirm and talk about equipment options. the manager called that afternoon and was out the following day. He talked about the different types of replacement heaters and gave us a price on the spot. We called a couple of different pool heater companies and HydroTech's price was very comparable and lower in some cases. We scheduled the replacement and again the techs were knowledgeable and efficient. Very pleased with the whole process!

We were loosing about 3-4 inches of water a day in our pool. We called and they were here the next morning, after introductions they immediately started and found a total of nine leaks. They repaired each one and we haven't added one drop of water to our pool since. There were two guys, very professional, very fast, and very polite. We will definitely call them if we ever start loosing water again. We highly recommend Hydrotech Pools Inc.

They were on time and professional. I have moved my service from my original pool company and I should be expecting them some time this week.

They were very nice. They had to get into that pool which I had just refilled with water and its temperature was around 76 degrees! They scoured the pool and spa for leaks and found several. They repaired it right then and there. He also got the pump working again as it got stuck from salt deposits from being off for so long due to the fact that there was not enough water in the pool to keep it running. I had called another leak detective who charged $265 just to show up. If repairs were minor, they might have been included in that price. I cancelled. Looked up on Angie's List and found Hydrotech Pools. Saw they had a coupon for the same thing and took advantage knowing I could trust Angie's List. They were here a while and getting the pump started gave them a hard time yet they did not charge more for that. Between that, their politeness, professionalism and knowledge, it makes good business sense. They might not have made a lot of money on this call but I know I'll give them a call again when the time comes to replace equipment, update pool tiles and when we can afford to get solar panels installed to keep pool warm.

On spring and summer of current year, I have so many problems with my pool. One pool problem after another; Smith pool motor 1hp had to be replaced and strong wind destroyed many screen panels of top portion of pool cage and as these was not enough, the pool was loosing noticeable lots of water. Fortunately I had joined Angie's List and when I got E-Mail with "Big Deal -- $99 for Professional Pool Leak Detection" I purchased that DEAL in a split of second and never regretted it. I have been pleased with performers of Hydrotech Pools company 2 very nice and knowledgeable people. Leaks were fixed and an oral instruction was provided and I will use them again and recommend to other pool owners. It was my pleasure of dealing with of Hydrotech Pools company. Thank you.

Great staff ,performed most of the services in one day. They had to cut through the cement and dig out and replace pipes. Backfill and add a new layer of cement . No more air in the pipes and loss of water in the pool. They cleaned up the area very nicely. I would definitely use them again

They found the leak in just 15 minutes and fixed the problem.

I was suspicious that our pool may have a leak. It was very timely that Angie's list was offering a groupon for pool leak check from Hydrotech, so I purchased it. The company was quick to call me to schedule a time to come out. They came a couple days later. The tech went into the pool and checked all drains, etc for leaks. A small leak was detected in the area of the skimmer and it was filled and repaired. I received a follow up call to make sure I was happy with the service.

The pool was losing 1.5" of water every other day. The pool tech checked all the underwater pool features for leaks. A leak around the underwater pool light was detected and sealed using a marine underwater epoxy putty. The loss of water stopped and after one month since the service the pool is not losing any water. Great job!

What a delight to call folks about a pool issue and not only get a quick response but also get accurate information. Faith did a fabulous job replacing the filter and left the job site spotless! Wooohooo for professional quality work. Will definitely call again with any future pool issues.

I would say that we have been quite happy with the service that we received from Hydrotech and would reccomend them to friends and neighbours. We have a pool with some issues and we had to have a tree removed which damaged a pool pipe and the owner has been great for sorting thru it and his staff have shown up when they are supposed to, knowledgeable, effective, well equiped, and he does have a reliable work crew and they are quite nice.

We thought we had been losing water for a few months. We purchased the leak detection service through Angie's List. Hydrotech contacted us promptly. Scheduling the appointment was easy. They showed up when they say they would. The individual who did the testing was very personable, Easy to deal with. Promptly found the leak (settling crack in the skimmer). He patched the crack and provided us an estimate to replace the skimmer.

Showed up on time. Courteous. Professional. Did the expected services.

I was loosing a lot of water. Hydrotech came on time and thoroughly examined all possible sources of the leak and applied epoxy to several places which had small leaks. No more leaky Pool! Thank you Hydrotech.

They did not find the leak the first time so we did not pay them anything. They came back without an appointment when we were not there and they left a note saying that they found the leak and it was in the seat of the spa. They guarantied to find the leak for $150 and the owner of the company sent my husband an email with the total cost for the additional work that they are willing to do to fix the leak. The problem is we are not there now since it is our second home so it will be completed when we go back there in October. We are going to contact them by that time. I was upset that they came and they did not notify us but it did not bother my husband. I liked to be there and they came when we were not there and then they said that they found the leak and no one came back and showed us where it really was but they did a good job in the fact that they looked everywhere for the leak. They were there three times and we were there for two of their visits because they had appointments and they missed the third appointment. They were supposed to come on a Friday and they never showed up. We did not call them on it because we figured that they cannot find it but they came the following week. They should have followed up with us and said, "Sorry, we did not make it today but we are planning on coming next week. Will you be home? Will Friday work for you?" There was no understanding that they can come and go whenever they want to and fix the leak. That was not how it was supposed to be. But we knew that the leak was not in the pipes and in a lot of places because they checked a lot of places. They put a lot of effort into it and for the money, if they just said to me, "Here is the leak," after all the searching that they did, I think it was worth $150. Maybe I should have called them and told them, "I am really happy that you found the leak. Have the guys come back out and show us where it is." Because we still do not know if there are leaks all over the whole seat or if there is one specific leak because the seat is like 8 feet long and 1 foot wide.

When a expense comes up we are always afraid of the unknown. I called Hydrotech and from that moment I knew I called the right company. From the start they are professional and get the job done in a timely manner. I felt that the owner Damian is one of the most honest contractors I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Top notch company and I will use them again.

When we contracted with Hydrotech Pools we had nothing to worry about. They are a very professional company and the do what they say they are going to do and do it right. Its not common these days to have companies follow thru and give outstanding service and Damian at Hydrotech did just that. He went above and beyond and they continue to do a good job because they also take care of the weekly service on my pool.

They have kept my pool looking great. They are priced fairly, and their employees are punctual and curtious. We are hiring them to do additional work for us and would use them if we move and need to upgrade or build a pool.

This company did an excellent job. Work was completed when promised. The different crews were each very professional, efficient, pleasant and hard working. Each crew cleaned up as they went except the paver crew. Would highly recommend all aspects of job including the pavers. (Note: The paver crew were artisans creating a beautiful design in stone for us.)

They were prompt, did the job ( two visits over two days) and left after cleaning up. The repair has proved effective with no further leaks. the pool looks better for the acid wash.

Overall is the renter was happy. I referred this company to my sister, who live in CA and also has a property in Port Charlotte, she has her pool heating system didn't work, but Mario does not service this.
