ACTION APPLIANCE SERVICE

Great. Bill identified the problem. A part needed to be ordered, which he did, and then installed the part. This is the second time I have used Action Appliance Service.

This was a very important repair since we were about to have nine family house guests arrive for Christmas vacation and the refrigerator would receive heavy use! A part needed to be ordered and the service call had to be timed to our return from our own out of state travel....with little room for error! Action Appliance ( Bill) arrived on schedule, on time and worked with the same professional, courteous service I experienced on a previous service call. This is my permanent appliance repair person...I highly recommend this company.

Bill was an awesome - very trustworthy - since we were not there - very professional and friendly. I can't tell enough people how impressed we were. A+ in our book!!

Very well diagnosed by the technician. There was a big noise from the frig which was diagnosed as a bag being caught in the freezer and causing a gap which froze up the back panel. I emptied the frig and turned off the circuit breaker per the tech's advice. He said the fan was rubbing up against the block of ice that had formed. The next day it was all defrosted and the frig was working again.

Dishwasher was assessed and it was recommended to be replaced due to age.

It is great now and I highly recommend Action Appliance

We live in Pennsylvania and the refrigerator in our condo in Naples, Fl needed a service call. We called Bill at Action Appliance Services on July 10, 2017 - based on the good reviews on this Website. I left a message about what we needed. He resonded quickly and stated he would be able to help us out. He explained that if the problem was with the compressor or the sealed system (Freeon leak) he would not be able to service the appliance. We would have to contact a certified Samsung service provider. Based on his experience, he further explained that if it would turn out to be this type of issue, the repair would be more than likely expensive. We knew going into the service call that he may not be able to help us and that we would be charged a service call. The fact that we are not presently in Naples, FL, we had to ask Bill to contact our Home Watch person and coordinate the service call. He did this and called us back and two days after the initial call on July 12 when he had the answer to our problem. Bill is not abe to repair the refrigerator because the issues are with the sealed system. It's challenging to find technicians or contractors to work in a unit where the owners are not currently not occupying. Thanks to Angie's List and other reviewers we were able to find Bill and schedule a service call with an technician who demonstrated integrity and honesty and made us feel comfortable having him in our home while we were not present. I highly recommend Action Appliance Service and espcially Bill.

They made arrangements with my tenant for a day and time. She was pleased with them. They were on time and took care of the problem. I was informed after the work was complete and was email a invoice. Was easy on both myself and the tenant.

Bill figured out an alternative model ice maker that would work, and it's functioning perfectly. He is highly professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Action Appliance.

I called the owner Bill Letchworth and he sent one of his servicemen out, Mike. Mike was punctual, pleasant and professional. He spent time asking informed questions to diagnose the problem and came up with a likely fix which involved a thorough cleaning of the coil fan and air circulation system. He advised me to keep an eye on it because it was possible the problem was with the relay. As it happened it would not hold temperature but did so for longer intervals. I emailed the owner on Saturday and he responded.... on Saturday and said he would send Mike out first thing Monday morning as he was aware we were leaving on Wednesday. Mike stopped in. Further analyzed and researched the problem, and after listening for awhile to actually listen to see if he could hear the problem and he did and replaced the relay. I was charged the normal charge LESS the trip charge for the first visit. This was more than fair. I had called this same business about a year ago with a clothes washer problem which Bill diagnosed on the phone and told me he could fix BUT then went on to say I would be better off buying a new machine given the age and reputation of washer that was giving me the problem. This company is everything you would want in a business of this sort. Honest, responsive, competent and reasonable.

He asked if I could get the plastic knob off and look at it carefully for a crack. Sure enough it was cracked and that allowed the knob to spin and not engage the actual timer. He gave me the part number and I ordered it myself and installed the new one. It was refreshing to meet such a caring, honest and helpful professional. Thanks Bill.
