Description of Work: We used Action Appliance Service. They repaired our washing machine.

Description of Work: I was in desperate need of a repairman as my dryer stopped heating & I had a ton of laundry. I contacted Action Appliance Service in the afternoon & they were able to come out the next day as soon as I got done working in the AM (it was season so that was a very quick response!). The tech called right on time as promised & was here within the time frame he gave me. He cleaned the inside of all the lint for me & was able to repair my dryer immediately as he had the part on his truck. Very professional, very nice & I would most definitely use them again as well recommend them to friends.

Description of Work: Discussed Hotpoint Clothes Washer leaking water, being a 16 yr. old unit. He would repair if we wished, but recommended that we purchase a new washer and dryer because of the age and the poor quality of manufacturing. Excellent serviceman, and would use Action Appliance Service if we have a future need for appliance repair, and recommend others using Action Appliance Service.

Description of Work: Checked to see if dishwasher could be repaired & but needed to buy a new one as parts not current

Description of Work: Contacted them about my dryer and got great info as to my problem and told to buy a new dryer,since it would cost just as much to fix. He could have easily came out and charged me for a service call . This is the second time he has helped me over the phone free of charge. Would do business with him always. How often do you see where a business doesn't take advantage of you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Description of Work: I called Bill to have him come and check out our washer that sounds like an airplane is landing when it is in the spin cycle. Literally seconds after I left my message, he called and told me exactly what it was, that it would be a waste of money to replace the transformer which was causing the noise and that we would need to buy a new washer. That's a great repairman - prompt response and honest with you. I will definitely call him back whenever we have appliance issues in the future!

Description of Work: Absolutely the best most honest repair person I have ever worked with on anything! Bill has come out on several occasions for different repairs. What is incredible he will recommend that I buy a new dish washer rather than pay him to fix the one I have because the parts alone would be close tp the cost of a new unit. It took him over an hour to diagnose the problem but he only charged me for the initial service call.

Description of Work: The control panel in my GE Profile fridge was out. Bill Letchworth, the owner, followed service checks which indicated bad boards. He eventually had to come out several times when the indicated boards did not solve the problem. He eventually found a short in the wiring under the fridge. Never charged for the multiple calls. Said it wouldn't be fair even when I offered to pay him more. Fabulous guy!
