They were prompt, professional and meticulous.

It went great. Eduart came out and powerwashed the deck. It brought back the original look of the cedar, and looked terrific. He then came out a few days later, after the deck had dried out, and applied a coat of semi-transparent stain and sealer. Even though the deck is thirty years old, it looks like new, thanks to Alba Painting.

Professional High Quality Work. The work was perfect. They even took apart my gutter and cleaned it because it was plugged. We started with the deck and loved his professionalism and quality of work, then we had him paint the garage and the exterior. We now hired him to paint the garage floor and some interior.

He did a pretty good job, but the original Deal of $200 for the area that we had did not include the railing and the railing ended up being twice the cost. So, it took $400 to get both done. He is a nice person. He is very professional and he did a B to a B+ job. At that point, I had already agreed that I was going to do it. It would have been good to have known the price of the railing upfront. He was very friendly. He was helpful in helping me pick out the right stain and got it done in a week after his initial meeting.

Eduart had promptly provided an estimate and came early on the day we agreed upon for the staining. I found Eduart and his employee to be courteous, hard working and professional. They were mindful of our plants and bushes and our neighbor's garage, I was very happy with their work and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Mr. Coka, owner of Alba Painting, refused to perform the project that he advertised on AngiesList and for which he was paid by credit card. Mr. Coka walked off the job after I told him that I only wanted the deck power washed and stained for $199 as he advertised. While he admitted that the deck surface was less than 200 square feet, he said he couldn't make money doing just that work; refused to do it; and walked off the job site. He refuses to answer emails and he still has my $199. It looks like I'm going to have to sue him. Oh, and now he is advertising on Angie's List doing up to 150 square feet of deck for $159. I purchased the Angie's List deal knowing full well we had a large deck w/railings, steps and a skirt and that the cost would be well beyond the original Angie's List offer $. The contractor was professional, curtious and very neat. He and his assistant left no mess and I was fully satisfied with the end product and cost. Will use again. Cost breakdown: Angie's List deal - $199, overage due to size - $940 + we bought the 4 gallons of stain/seal.

They did an excellent job. They were very prompt. Eduart arrived with his crew and went to work immediately. They did some initial drywall repair work which was very well done. You cannot see see any of the bad spots they fixed. The painting was done very neatly and professionally. I am extremely pleased with the work that they did. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them in the future when we have the exterior of our house painted. They were great.

It was an excellent experience. Edward Alba came to my house to give me a quote on the project on Sunday afternoon, March 6. I felt comfortable with him immediately. He said there will not be one drop of paint on my woodwork or furniture. He pointed out a crack in the ceiling that I recently had hired some dry wallers through Angie's List to fix. He questioned whether the dry wallers had used tape. I said they did. So neither one of us is sure why the crack was forming already. But he said the paint would cover it. He also pointed out some spots where the dry wallers had neglected to spray texture paint. He saw things on my walls that I had missed. As far as his painting job. He told me that I didn't have to do anything. He'd move furniture, remove outlet and light switch covers, etc. I did remove everything from the rooms that I could, to make it easy for him. He was able to start that next Thursday, March 10. He was on time and brought another painter on the first day. They applied two coats of paint in all the areas, except the two walls where I had accent colors - one in my kitchen and one in my living room. Edward returned on Friday and finished those two walls. I couldn't believe how quickly they finished the job, and it looks beautiful. They did excellent work. The only unfortunate part of my experience with Alba Painting was that my AT&T U-Verse was out on Friday when I got home from work, and I discovered my modem box was left unplugged. So my friend had to help me move my entertainment center to get at that plug so I could plug it in. That was simply an accident and I do not hold that against him. When I called him, because initially I didn't know why my phone, internet, and TV were out, he was very concerned and couldn't understand what could have happened either. I called him back after I discovered the modem being unplugged and he was very apologetic. It was an honest accident. My overall experience was still excellent.

I originally selected Alba Painting to wash and stain my deck with a promotion. In the end, I decided not to do the deck, but Eduard applied the money toward some painting to be done indoors for me during the winter. Today he painted my living room and entry hall and did a great job. He was prompt, efficient, and showed great attention to detail. I especially appreciated the little extra things he did, such as filling cracks, helping me to remove the window coverings, and giving me tips for my future painting projects. I highly recommend that you check out this personable professional when you have work to be done on your home or deck.

This was a deal on Angie's list. They painted a bedroom. Worked quickly and efficiently. I was a little disappointed that they did not fill small nail holes but just painted over them.

Arrived on time, got to work, kept us informed, finished job - well done.

Eduart was professional, arriving when he said he would and was done and gone in 4 hours. He put all the furniture back and the paint job itself is excellent. I will certainly use him again on my next room!

Eduart painted my home and 2 sheds and did a very good job. He kept me informed of when he was going to be here and arrived as scheduled. He was very good to work with and was very tolerant of my 2 out of control obnoxious dogs.

It was horrible. They wouldn't come out and give me a quote. The gentleman who owns the company told me that considering how many people had bought that deal he would lose so much money if he went out to every place and gave a quote. I wanted to know what the deal would all cover then I would have paid for one and bought the paint myself and bring it to the job or bring it to my house. I wouldn't receive the deal with the paint because he was a contractor and he said, "Oh yeah I do, so just give them my name and then they'll give you my discount." and I still wanted some kind of a quote. I wanted to know what I was getting into so I took the measurements and I gave him the measurements. It ended up that he changed the quote several times and I ended up talking to someone at the paint store and then they said that they still thought the quote that he was giving me was way out of line. So I ended up having and I had told him originally too when I had asked him for a quote and he said he wouldn't give me the quote and I said I am going to call Angie's List and he said, "Well, go ahead and get your money back." So he came and he power washed my deck and then when I was talking to him about having the painting done and I said I am concerned about some of these issues and he said, "You're not going to pull out on me now, are you? I mean I have already started the work." I mean I was like, "Yeah, I think I am." So, did I get ripped off because I paid a lot of money to my deck just power washed? Probably absolutely, but it would have been a lot more money if I would have let him come here and paint my deck with a quote that he gave me. I wasn't home when they came to do the deck and when they power washed it there were areas that didn't seem to be power washed.

Purchased the $199.00 deal to wash and stain my deck. In the end it actually cost me $1,132.00 including the stain which I had to go out and purchase myself - $163.00. Not a great deal! The "deal" was $199.00 for a 200 square foot deck. My deck is approx 300 square feet. Railing was extra. I have about 40 feet of running rail. Though offered as part of the deal, no loose board repairs were necessary. The deck was stained but no sealant applied. You figure it out. Seems outrageously overpriced, but I did accept it--and I admit it was my mistake to proceed after learning of the estimate. On the other hand, when he told me the estimate to complete the job was $770.00, even though I thought it was expensive, I assumed that included the $199 I had already paid Angie. No such luck. At the end of the job I learned it did not. Learned an expensive lesson. The job was done and the deck looks fine, but nothing extraordinary was accomplished. Certainly not for the price charged. Given the job required about a 4 hour power wash by one person and a 5 hour stain job by two people. I estimate that the hourly rate charged was about $69.00. I would not use this vendor again.

I have used Alba Painting twice over the last year. I cannot say enough about Eduart. He is very responsive and prompt. His pricing was very reasonable and he finished the job in less time than he estimated. I am so happy with the work he did, my cupboards look amazing. I will use Alba Painting for all my painting needs.

He came to power wash first and back about a month later to finish the stain and seal. He was helpful in advising me which stains to buy.

Did not go well. The day of scheduled service they called to inform me that the price would be double that of the of the special due to a small overage of square footage. I was willing to pay an appropriate amount to cover the overage but this felt like a classic 'bait and switch' tactic. When I articulated this the proprietor proceeded to personally attack me verbally by telling me that I was "an awful person who did not want to pay anything". What I was most disappointed by was the complete lack of professionalism displayed by the owner and no semblance of customer service skills.
