Ed and his staff did a great job. Deck looks perfect. Ed was very punctual, explained the process, answered any questions, and kept us informed on when the work would be done. Would definitely use their services again.

The project is scheduled forMay 2021. Down payment was made.

Ed and Romeo did a fantastic and timely job! Ed is a great communicator, and obviously very experienced with decks. They came out and did the power wash within days and stained the deck within a week. Excellent work all the ay around!!

A-choice Painting did an excellent job on my deck and bathrooms. Ed Coka and one of his associates were very careful when they stained my large deck this summer. Therefore when they finished staining, it looked great! They always take pride in their work and it also showed when they painted two of my bedrooms last year. A-choice Painting does quality work at a reasonable price. I definitely will be using A-choice Painting again. I highly recommend A-choice Painting.

Ed did a great job. He doesn't just spray the stain on but sprays, and then rubs in with a brush to fill all the gaps and protect all of the surfaces. Was prompt professional and courteous.

A-Choice painting did an excellent job for us. We had both interior and exterior painting done. They did an excellent job at all the prep work to ensure a lasting durable paint job. Everything was cleaned up after the job. Ed the owner is easy to get a hold of and communicates with you well during the process. We highly recommend A-Choice painting!

deck staining and interior painting

This was a terrible experience. The good was that he was prompt and communicated when he was coming. In addition he repaired and painted a bathroom ceiling that so far looks excellent. Also the price was low but unfortunately I got what I paid for. It is too bad that these reviews don't allow pictures any more. There was no attempt to capture or clean up all of the paint chips that were scraped off during the prep process so I have spent hours cleaning up these paint chips that likely have lead in them from some of the early paint layers (the house is from about 1945). Just laying down a tarp would have saved me hours of clean up. Then a portion was painted with a sprayer, but they also sprayed on white paint on our red brick chimney and upstairs window. A portion was done with a sprayer and a portion was done with a roller and it is very clear where the transition occurred with two different shades of white (due to different amounts of paint being applied). In addition it has been less than a week and some of the paint is already peeling off, leaving exposed wood, or bubbling. Even basement windows that were painted ended up with significant amounts of paint on the glass. I was definitely misled by all of the positive reviews. I should have noticed the red flag that he intended to do all of the work on a single day. I'm so frustrated by the experience that I plan on correcting as many of the mistakes as I can by myself rather than having the painter return. I wish I could find a painter that takes pride in his/her work.

A-Choice Painting is a great company and Ed is the best. The project went smoothly. The crew was prompt and punctual. They take pride in their work and the quality of their work is outstanding. Working with Ed was a real pleasure. He is extremely kind, pleasant, responsive, and excellent with interactions and his work. When he says he will call you back he does. When he says he will do something he does. And he accommodated me by doing the work and some specific smaller details that I wanted done without disagreeing or trying to talk me out of it. This experience couldn't have gone better. And my house looks great! Next year I hope he will do some painting inside my house. Marlena

Would not come out to Pewaukee for such a small job. Would only come out if he had other jobs in the neighborhood. I suggest they post on Angies site which areas they are willing to serve.

Don't bother they'll never call you and or call you back

Fine. Easy to work with. We hired another painter before A-Choice. Did not do a professional job. Then we hired A-Choice Painting. What a difference.

Ed was great to work with, from start to finish. He quickly set up a time for an estimate and was able to work my project in without a long wait. I was very happy with the job he did—the results were great, and Ed and his co-worker were very efficient and considerate throughout. They also did a super cleanup. Recommend!

Very courteous and professional. He came out on time the day he said he was going to look at the project, got me an estimate when he said he was going to, and performed the work on the day he said he was going to be there. Looks great! I would recommend him to anyone!

We were very pleased with the painting job Ed and his assistant did on the exterior of our house. The price was fair and the work done was excellent!

Scheduled a Saturday morning appointment with them to get a bid to paint the exterior of our house. The guy didn't show up. I texted him at the number he gave me, and he ignored me. A week later, still nothing. Very unprofessional. Maybe they are fantastic -- if they bother to show up. We'll never know.

Beautifully!!! They did an incredibly great job and they did it quickly. I found my painter for life and it's Ed and crew at ALBA! They were polite, punctual and neat. Ed went out of his way to do things, I know other painters may not have done and all within a constrained time frame. Kudos to Ed and Alba. Ed is now the only painting contractor I've ever put in my contact list.
