I was very happy with the results. Alba painters took down my ceiling fan and moved furniture. The room looks great with no slop. Good job.

My purpse in contracting Alba in the beginning was to "test the contractor", as we wanted the entire interior painted. I found them on Angie's list and purchased a certificate. Another contractor contacted us in the meantime, and made such a ridiculous offer, that we contracted with them. I had to reschedule my appointment with Alba several times, and Eduart was exceptionally accomodating. His communication was exemplary. The day I was finally able to allow him to come, hey and his brother arrived promptly, even waiting as I had run out for an errand. They were extremely friendly, efficient and very, very clean. My only regret is that I don't have more for them to do. I would absolutely hire them again, and highly recommend them.

We cannot say enough good things about Eduart and his team. Our project was very labor intensive and detail oriented. Eduart's skill and attention to detail was exceptional. He used skilled techniques and the appropriate equipment to make sure the outcome was high quality. Our doors look brand new and the paint on the walls and other surfaces look amazing. He was aware that I was not sure about the color we chose for the kitchen and took the time to call me prior to painting that room to verify the color. He offered to paint a different room that day so I could choose a different color if desired. He was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely skillful. He offered to return after the movers came to do touch ups. We are waiting for our new furniture to arrive before he comes back. We appreciated Eduart's professionalism, promptness and responsiveness. We are extremely satisfied customers and would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Fast estimate....reasonable price for the amount of work....came and did prep work right away....professional quality workmanship...perfect clean-up....excellent customer service. I have no complaints and will use Alba Painting service again! Highly recommend Alba outstanding job!

Working with Alba Painting (Edwart) was a great experience. Edwart came out and took a look at the cabinets and provided me with a very competitive quote. He explained why the quote included the costs that it did and he was even wiling to provide a quote immediately following the walk-through. He went to far as to ask me why I wanted to paint the cabinets rather than just leave them as they were. How many contractors would ask that question knowing they may lose out on some business? All of the people from Alba painting were punctual, honest, and willing to share information from the start of the project through the end of the project. Edwart provided me with a good understanding of the process. He explained in detail what he would need to do and the time that it would take to complete the work. He provided a timeline that was in-line with the dates that I needed for completion. *** Please note that the cabinet doors, drawers, and cutting board needed to be removed for the painting and this was not included in the work that Alba painting performed. Just so everyone understands that the work of removing and hanging doors was not included in the work or the quote of this job. When the cabinets were completed I was a little skeptical at first that I had made the right decision. The cabinets looked OK but not great. Edwart stated that he would finish the doors once they were all hung. He said he needed to sand them and give them a final coat for them to look finished. He was exactly correct and they look great. I've had a couple of people look at them, including our new renters, and all have commented on how great they look. Overall we have had a wonderful experience working with Alba painting. The only area for improvement is for Alba Painting would be to provide their estimates using a standard Proposal or Quote form. We received our estimate on a piece of lined notebook paper. While I had no issue with this I believe some would question the validity of the quote. Edwart is very knowledgeable and he is a person that pays attention to detail. He does much of the work by hand which results in more time but a higher quality product than you might get from other painters. We would highly recommend Alba painting to others and we will likely be using them again to paint the cabinets in our downstairs apartment, when the time comes.

Did not really know how to use oil based stain which I requested. Overlaps showed. Did advise the stain might not be even because of old stain. Those parts also showed but that was ok.

We had Alba Painting LLC paint the exterior of our home. It took them a day and half to paint 1400 square foot home. First day 2 gentleman came out and the second day only one came back to finish up. They did a good job.

Both jobs of painting he did for our home were great! We will certainly use him again when the need arises!

I called Alba Painting based on positive reviews on Angies List. Eduart was very accommodating in scheduling an appointment for the estimate on short notice. I felt his pricing was fair given the scope of the project. Better yet, he was available to begin the work on short notice. The quality of the work performed was excellent and completed in the time he promised.

They met the promised schedule and did the work quickly, missing nothing and left it spotless.

We ended up paying above and beyond the big deal of $129. We ended up spending $400. Overall, the work was about average. The owner is pretty conscientious, but the helper he had, was not. He had some drips and tracked some paint on our patio. We did have mentioned it. He readily came back and made it right.

It Went well . The estimate and job were started and promptly. Price was dead on to estimate,,NO ADD-ONS. No Additional "nickel dime" up charges. Easy to work with.

Estimate was not useful in that not being based on looking at the job, it provided me with no information to base any other decision on.

We arent ready for the painting just yet,,,,,,

The experience has been good because of the level of professionalism and being willing to work with us on our timeframe and to be flexible I can't yet read the painting because the project has not occurred yet but the experience of thus far has been positive

I bought two room coupons from Alba Painting on Angie's list and also had them come out to quote a whole interior. I had put color swatches up in a bedroom before we left to the winter, but when we decided to sell the house, we needed the bedroom done ASAP. I called Alba from Florida and they arranged to meet me back in Milwaukee and paint the bedroom and kitchen that same week. He was very polite and accommodating, and fit his work around my schedule. The work was excellent (I am a painter and know the difference) and he was very efficient and clean - put everything back exactly where it belonged and did not leave any mess for me to clean up. I highly recommend - great job and nice people to work with.

I wasn't able to redeem the coupon at this time for personal reasons, but will contact this company in the future when I can have the work done.

They finished my bedroom in less than four hours. They were very professional and efficient. I highly recommend them.

Showed up everyday on time. Worked almost non-stop except for lunch. Moved all furniture and replaced it, taking great care. Protected carpets and cleaned up everything when completed.

Ok job but be advised that he just paints over imperfections in the walls. Only nail holes get filled Also, prefers to use his own choice of paint.

Eduart was on time for both the estimate and day of service. I appreciated that he checked in with me the day before both appointments. He gave clear and accurate instructions for the purchase of paint and how to prepare concerning furniture, etc. The job was completed very quickly and I am thrilled with the results. They put the drapery rods and furniture back in place and I appreciated that greatly. I plan on hiring them again and will recommend to friends.

I purchased a special deal from them through Angie's list for $199 to paint one room. The deal was for two coats of paint and when I purchased the paint, the paint store said that one of the coats should be a tinted primer because the yellow paint they would be painting over would likely show through otherwise. So I requested the painters use the tinted primer first and then apply the one additional coat using the regular paint - still just two coats of paint. When the painters arrived, they said they would charge me more because according to them, using a primer, even if it's tinted, takes them longer because it is a different consistency. I assured them that I've painted numerous rooms using one coat of tinted primer and one coat of paint and have had no coverage issues and it didn't take me any longer. They were adamant that they should charge me extra even though it still amounts to two coats and then proceeded to tell me they have to find a way to feed their families and pay for the gas to get to my house. I refused to pay extra and asked for a refund because I thought this was unfair, plus with all the extras it was beginning to get rather expensive to paint this small nursery that I could just paint in a few hours myself. In addition, to the above, we had numerous other issues with this company. When I set up the deal I asked them if they wanted to come and see the room that we had selected to identify if there was anything special I needed to know about or do prior to their arrival to do the work. They said they should come out and look at it, which they did (incidentally, at this time they never mentioned that using a tinted primer as the first coat would result in an additional charge, nor did any of the fine print on the deal). When they came to inspect the room, I mentioned that the peaks on two sides of the room where the ceiling meets might be a couple inches above a 10 foot ceiling height and since they are so small (maybe 6" by 6" at most) I would paint them prior to them arriving to avoid any additional charges. They instructed me not to do that and that since the area was so small they would just rather include them and wouldn't charge me any extra. They then measured the room and said the room was larger than they would agree to do through the deal (it is a baby's nursery and an average to small size bedroom) so they would need to charge me an extra $100.00. I initially agreed thinking that this must be in the offer and I overlooked it. When they came to do the painting my mother in law asked them why they were charging me an extra $100.00 for such a small room and they told her it was to paint the (2) 6 inch peaks where the ceiling meets on each side, which I specifically asked they not charge me for since I would paint them myself otherwise. I then went back and looked at the offer details and realized there was no minimum size so they should not have charged me extra for anything based on the conversation we had. Finally, when they arrived to do the work, we asked that they cover the furniture and put down canvases (as the deal offer identified they would do). They said they didn't bring any and didn't need to do it - we should just "trust them". Finally, their demeanor over the disagreement was unprofessional as well. They proceeded to yell at me for "wasting their time" and "using their gas money". I have hired numerous professionals to do work in my home, including several painting companies, and have never felt as uncomfortable with a contractor in my home as I did with these individuals. They were terribly unprofessional and just kept telling me that they needed to feed their families and pay for gas as if it is my responsibility to bear these burdens for them.

We wanted to have the job done in an efficient manner - if I recall correctly, I contacted him on a Friday, and he came out on the next Monday to paint the room when he knew that I needed it done soon. He was up front, and acted professionally. The quality was very good - no complaints.
