Description of Work: I contacted Edward Alba regarding the deal for $199. I requested that he come to my house to discuss what needed to be done and to provide me with an estimate for additional work and proof of insurance. He said he would come out the day of the scheduled service and provide me with an estimate that day. I responded to him that I don't do business with contractors unless I have a written estimate prior to the date of service. I informed him that I wanted to cancel the service and that I notified Angie's list. I don't know if my credit card has been charged yet. All of my emails to him are documented in my Angie's list email account.

Description of Work: Excellent workmanship. They were really good. I am very very pleased with how quickly and thoroughly they worked. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They moved appliances, furniture, whatever needed to be moved. They did not cut a single corner. The lines between ceiling and walls are perfect. they did a really great job that increased the value of my house.

Description of Work: He was on time. A little | Communication error, however, we worked it out.

Description of Work: Ceiling of kitchen, trim, wall and ceiling of small bedroom, and ceiling and walls of another bedroom. I am very happy with the work and amazed that he did it in a day.

Description of Work: He painted my bedroom, bathroom, and powder room. He did a very good job, however, I feel that I paid way too much to have those rooms done. Yes, he put two coats on, but since then I had to have the drywall redone. The knockdown that the contractor put up was very poor. So the contractor re-drywalled the knockdown over the new paint job. Then it had to be painted again. So I now have a painter who will do my bedroom and my bathroom for $200. He is in the process of doing it now, and it looks beautiful. I will use this contractor in the future. He is very very fair.

Description of Work: Alba Painting came in to my condominium and painted everything. Front entryway, kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom and inside closets. Great communication, clear expectation of schedule and great work. Thank you. I rated the price a bit lower because it was expensive but overall I think it was worth it.

Description of Work: I called to set up the cleaning. He wanted to know where Wind Lake was. He also wanted to know the size of the deck. He figured it would be another $400.00 to do the job. I said we couldn't afford $600.00 and he told me to get our money back.

Description of Work: The guy came to my home with punctual manner and measured my concrete based backyard patio for the pressure washing service. Problem was he had over counted number provided(860 Sq feet) more than actual (750 sq f) and tried to get extra charge due up to 800 sq F space limitation. I have pointed out this space deference then he refused the job done and gone with the words of " the job too small" I 've had wasted time with him and hassled refund retrieving...

Description of Work: Painted stairwell and hallway. On the way out, the painter noticed an old stain on some ceiling tiles in the living room from a roof leak several years ago, and said he thought he could touch it up. The stains really looked dreadful, but I didn't think much could be done to fix it (short of a new ceiling). Using a practical approach, the painter first tried using just the extra paint from the hallway, but the stain kept bleeding through. He made a couple of phone calls to inquire about how best to fix the problem, and then stopped back at the paint store to pick up a special primer. He applied a couple coats of the primer and then painted over the primer, and the ceiling looks terrific. He did not charge me anything extra for this service, and went above and beyond the call of duty! Although Alba may not be the least expensive, he is quite skilled and knows his business well, and does a quality job.

Description of Work: Service was purchased as an ANGIE'S DEAL. The painting job was that of my residence's back hallway. Eduart of Alba contacted me promptly after purchase was made. All phone conversations/messages were timely and professional. After date and time was scheduled, Eduart was prompt, flexible about a special consideration and proceeded to work efficently all the while being personable and professional. I would gladly hire again, and feel good about referring to friends and family.

Description of Work: Painted a difficult bathroom, burgundy over white, and had to do multiple coats, he was very pleasant and spent the time to do the project right. Overall we were very satisfied with the results, and will have him back for more painting in the future.

Description of Work: Prepped walls, by filling nail holes and cracks with spackling and sanding, taped and covered flooring, helped with removal of some furniture next to walls...main job was Painting dining room and kitchen. VERY professional, followed all requests to the letter, VERY good clean-up, EXCELLENT paint job. Absolutely NO COMPLAINTS...HIGHLY RECOMMEND this painter!
