"While I can't speak on the quality of their work, I can speak on one one of their hpeople. On Wednesday afternoon around 2:00 my family and I went into the North Lakeland Lowes. We were there for quite a long time trying to get some specific concrete masonry to repair the exterior my home. We had a cart of materials next to the pros desk and were checking out when no one was in line. We were asked if there was anything we still needed and when we mentioned that we still needed some masionary planks the staff at Lowes tried to help us find the last few things we needed. After a considerable amount of time trying to get these things done we finally decided to check out with what we had and be on our way. When that moment came up there was a misunderstanding. A man wearing a shirt with this business on it, clearly working in his professional duties, had a confrontation with my father-in-law. As a school teacher by profession what this man did was over the line. First as we approached the pros desk he said a really snide and uncalled for comment along the lines of "Hey old man, don't try to cut the line...the end is back there." Finding this man comments to be set up by him as clearly confrontational. He nothing and just stood where he was. Now, in this man's defense, he didn't know we had already tried to check out prior to him and the line's formation and my father-in-law could have made an effort to explain the situation; however, given the "old man" comment I don't blame my father-in-law for not trying to explain. After getting mad like a "child in a lunch line" and a resounding "f$%k you" from my father-in-law for the old man comments. The man started talking about how he was going to beat my father-in-law down in the parking lot. This man is half my age himself and I'm 42. My father-in-law is 67. He could have easily beat the snot out of either one of us. Here is where things really matter. I wouldn't be writing this at all considering the misunderstanding because i can see where the confusion took place; however, this same man from Southern Pros...once things had already descalated and all the ugly comments by this man were over, decided to wait for us in the parking lot. Thank God we saw him before leaving the store because This man had now removed his shirt, was bare chested, and ready to beat a man three times his age down. We had the Lowes managers escort us out to avoid that could have been bad situation. With all that said, I have an estate my dad left me that I might be repairing and needed help with soon. Based on this confrontation, I will never allow this company anywhere near my property, quality work or not, and will encourage anyone and everyone who will listen to STAY AWAY."

We are Native Outdoor Maintenance. Our goal is to provide customers comfort through knowledge, experience, and expertise. We take great pride in our abilities to manage risk, time, and efficiency. Allowing us to be competitive in highest quality at a fair price. *We do not ask for deposits on small scale jobs. We don’t want our first time customers to worry for any reason. We keep it simple. When the job is done to your satisfaction, then we make payment arrangements. We like our trees pruned according to ISA standard practice, not leaving behind hazards, unsightly chainsaw marks on the bark, or leave broken or ripped cuts. We take excellent care of our STIHL equipment, and our highly maintained equipment takes care of you! We show up to the job site prepared for the task at hand. We set standards on job clean up. Unlike many unprofessional companies, we take the extra time to protect your investment with us, by leaving the job site clean. We do not leave behind small debris, leaving the customer with an unnecessary mess. Lawn Maintenance Our lawn maintenance is exactly what it is. We strive to leave our yards in a “maintained” state. Unlike many other companies who charge annual clean up fees, we believe if your property is being properly maintained, there shouldn’t be extra costs from lack of maintenance. Weeds, and debris build up in flower beds. And because we do tree work also, we can build a custom plan to add in all of your tree care needs into your monthly bill. We do not require a contract, we believe that you should be happy with your chosen lawn maintenance professionals and should not be obligated to pay someone for a year if their service is unsatisfactory If firewood is your thing, become a lawn customer and receive free delivery, on firewood orders, on your scheduled lawn maintenance day. We can also offer many other outdoor needs, such as mulching, laying sod, yard clean-up, pressure washing, landscaping, etc.
"These guys were ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! They are PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, NEAT and EFFICIENT! They removed 1 dead palm tree, trimmed 10 mature foxtail palms and 6 mature sylvester palms, and trimmed a 30 yr old laurel oak. A team of 4 showed up on time (early in fact) with trucks, ladders, and saws. The sylvester palms in particular needed significant trimming, and they were surrounded by gardens of tropical plants. The guys were careful not to damage any of the underlying plants. They worked like trojans and thoroughly cleaned up after the trimming was complete. During my talks with Jason the owner and Tom, the operations manager, it was clear that these guys had extensive knowledge of how to care for the palms and LOVED their work! These guys were so good, I'm considering setting up a maintenance contract with them to trim my palms twice a year."

Tree and yard care
Tree and yard care
Depending on the areas that a lawn care company specializes in, most companies offer a core set of services that usually include:
Mowing
Mulch
Tree trimming and pruning
Pest control
Landscaping
Leaf removal
Spring and fall cleanup
Shrub trimming and pruning
Check with local lawn care companies to confirm that they offer the services you’re looking for.
The average cost to mow a lawn is about $125, ranging between $50 and $200 per cutting, depending on yard size. Other cost factors include the shape of your lawn, accessibility, lawn health, type of grass, length of grass, and frequency of the mowing schedule. The cost to cut your grass will also vary depending on where you live. If your landscaper has to maneuver around obstacles or deal with hard to reach areas and steep slopes, this will likely increase your total mowing costs.
The recommended frequency to fertilize your lawn depends on the health of your lawn. If the grass is healthy and you have good soil, you may only need to apply fertilizer once yearly. However, if your lawn has shallow roots or poor, sandy soil that lacks the nutrients that grass needs to thrive, you may need to fertilize the lawn every six weeks.
On average, the cost to hydroseed ranges between $500 and $4,000. The cost depends on the size of the area you’re hydroseeding, the type of grass seed, slope of your yard, and other factors. Hydroseed is a mixture of grass seed, fertilizer, water, and mulch that you spray on the lawn using a pressurized sprayer. While the process is more expensive than seeding, grass will grow more quickly, and is often healthier.
Yes, it can be cheaper to fertilize your own lawn. DIY lawn fertilization saves the cost of hiring a lawn care company or a company that specializes in lawn fertilization. It’s important to handle fertilizer carefully to avoid the potential dangers of getting fertilizing chemicals on your skin. Also, using the wrong type of fertilizer or misapplying it can permanently damage your lawn. On average, the cost to fertilize your lawn using a professional lawn care service is about $250 and may be worth checking into as professionals tend to have the equipment and knowledge to apply the most effective blend of fertilizer to your lawn for the best results.
