"On November 21st I got to see some real professionals so let me say thank you to start. I thought I was a good roofer but seeing this team made me rethink efficiency and teamwork and I always appreciate reality checks. Those guys were here ready to work and I was greeted by Omar and a gentleman from Texas that I cannot remember his name. Both were very conversational and cordial like they were both guests at my house. The work started at 8:00 am with at least 8 young folk here stripping off the old roof and they worked right through their lunch. I pointed out to Omar that I wanted to trim one of trees with branches overhanging the roof and when I walked out to do it, that task was already completed. I did notice the degree of tarp use in keeping the site clean and the attention everyone took to make sure it stayed that way. They stripped the roof, replaced the plywood that needed replacing and installed the new shingles with just as much care, even with the guy that came out periodically to see the progress. I noted that they were very careful not to hit that guy when he came out! Then the clean-up started with as much vigor and frankly, I have never seen anything like it. Everyone participated, had the same attention level and treated the yard like it was theirs. They were done by 5:00 pm and I have only found one nail since then. Of course, I tipped them but did not think I tipped them enough! I would thoroughly recommend Guy Brothers Roofing for any job that they took on because of the level of service, the level of great work and the level of respect that the entire crew demonstrated on the 21st. "BEWARE!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!! Was hired to do a job before Thanksgiving and due to lack of ability to consistently show and do their job, this is what my Thanksgiving with family consisted of, thanks to the handyman not finishing a job he started. All communication ceased and he didn’t return, now I am left to look at this horrible job and will now have to find a company willing to come work behind a shotty handyman. I am a firm believer that his reviews are not really customers because this was unprofessional and unbecoming of a business owner. Trustworthy is not a word Task Guru should ever use. My cabinets have been cut and I have been left with lights that are inconsistent in size. I have holes in my walls and they took my face/switch plates and even my switches to where I can’t even operate my dining room light. I have offered chances for them to come complete the job and even requested the return of my switches my either bringing them or me picking them up....crickets..."
