My husband interviewed several companies, including two national companies and two local companies. We chose Total based on the Angie's List ratings and on my husband's interview with the company representative, who was also the owner of the company. The estimate was not the cheapest one, but while all the companies presented well, he had the greatest confidence in Total, in terms of knowledgeability and treatments in our particular areas of concern. We appreciated the concern for the environment, the future inspections/treatment plan, and all the information we now have about termite and pest control. Treatment was prompt, punctual, and professionally done. We were very happy with the service we received.

I had an extremely short time to have the service done. The guy was able to come out the same week I called! I'm in the military and my schedule changed at the last minute and I missed the appointment. He was really great about it, came back the same day and completed his work! -- AND he was the best price!! I am very happy with my service :)

Unsettled at coming across visual evidence of termites in my shop, I called Total Household based on a single report on Angie's List. Dan set up an inspection within a couple of days at which time he surveyed the evidence, explained the whats & the whys of that damage, and suggested specific treatment for the infestation. He was knowledgeable, professional, courteous; didn't try to sell me a service or further treatment I didn't need for the particular problem I'd called him on. He arranged to come out three days later--on a Saturday--and treated the problem; he was quick & efficient. I don't want to generalize too much from a relatively small experience, but I got a solid impression from the man and would not hesitate to call on him again.

I have been using Household Termite & Pest Control for two years now, and I couldn't be happier with the service I have received. It's a locally-owned company, and the owner is always prompt, courteous and professional in returning calls, addressing our needs and concerns, and going the extra mile to insure that we're satisfied customers. On a couple of occasions, we have experienced minor pest problems that were not related to the company's service and not covered under our contract, but they were glad to come out and take care of our extra problems at no charge. We switched from another pest control company, and the improvement in quality of workmanship, service and cost has been remarkable.
