Bugmeister's did a great job removing rats from an attic with little access. With the limited access, they had to come back several times to complete the job and did so willingly without extra charges. I called them after others were not able to poison or remove the rats and Bugmeisters got the job done! I would hire again.

Tried to make contact. They made one attempt but I got busy. They never called and followed up so I guess they don't want the business. I'll never try to contact them again.

Called Bugmeister’s and left a message. Within 1 hour the owner called and scheduled an appointment within 3 business days. Appointment was scheduled for 3PM. At 215 Steve from Bugmeister called to confirm appt and was even here 5 minutes early not costing me needless vacation time. Very thorough, responsive, and detailed. Steve was very professional and look forward to further treatments from Bugmeister’s.

The owner came to my house for the quote. He saw that I have dogs and cats. He said that because of this they would have to use a poison method on the rats that don't harm dogs and cats. I was worried about rat poison and he said that it had come a long way over the years and that if my animals did get a hold of what was put in the attic then they would throw-up. He said rats and mice can't throw-up and that is why it kills them and doesn't kill dogs. THEY USED SUPER CONCENTRATED RAT POISON. The mice or rats must have taken some of it out of the attic. My smallest dog DIED. I only saved my others because the vet got me vitamin K for them. My little baby dog bleed out in my arms and didn't make it to the vet in time to be saved. She died one block before getting there. It was horrifying. This company refused to take ownership for this. They continued to claim that what they used is non-toxic to dogs and cats. I yelled that they need to come get the rest of it out of my house. I took a picture of the container and it was super concentrated anti-coagulating rat poison. On another note: Ortho home spray works better than what they used. I saw no reduction in the the outside roaches, spiders, etc here in Florida. The fogger was a joke as well, I saw no reduction in gnats or mosquitoes. There were all these little tunnels and holes in my yard and I was worried they were snakes. these people took pictures and called me 3 months later to tell me they believed it was possum. Another company came out (they work with animal control) and told me exactly where the mice and rats were coming in and what I needed to do to keep them out. They saw the holes and tunnels, also that my dogs are right on top of them and they agreed with my further research that they were not snake, but in fact molechrickets. I DIY crushed eggshell coated in raw sunflower oil. now they are gone. Who can with feel pride in their work when they work for a pest control company and they kill my dog, and don't have enough sense to know a possum can't fit in a snake or a molechricket hole. I made the mistake of trusting what I thought were professionals. My advise would be to not believe only ratings and a personable owner. Personally interviewing these companies when they come to give you your quote is a must. I believe only then do you find out what some other company should have said or done and didn't. Please don't make the mistake that I did.

They were very professional and easy to deal with. We were able to meet with them for the inspection the day after calling and treatment was scheduled for a couple days after that. Everything went flawlessly with the exception of one thing... I first tried to schedule an appointment with them via Angies List. After not getting a response for a few days, I simply called.

I have an above grade home and wanted a termite inspection. Dan came out, suited up, went underneath the house and crawled from one end of the house to the other in 90+ degree weather. When he came out he told me there was no sign of current or past termite activity. He also looked over a wooden out building and said it was fine as well. Long story short any guy that will do all that it 90+ degree Florida weather then tell you that you don't have any problems it one honest guy! Best 50 bucks I ever spent. The week before he put out bait because we had rats in our ceiling and in our garage. He crawled up in our ceiling a total of three times for both visits. The cost for treating our rat problems was 125.00 and he was here for about two hrs. So I thought that was more than fair. Especially having to crawl up in a hot ceiling twice.

We had a great experience with Dan and his son. Dan came out the day after I called him, to identify a mystery bug and to write an estimate for termite prevention. He was on time, friendly, and efficient. He didn't immediately recognize the mystery bugs but took them in a bag to identify. He called later to say that they were plaster bagworms, they weren't a big deal, and he would spray a little extra in the infested wall when he came back to do the termite treatment. (We haven't seen any bagworms since.) Dan and his son came back the next week to inject a termite barrier in the foundation, which took about half a day. They drilled inconspicuous holes in the mortar, put in whatever chemicals they needed, and patched it all back up. They brought their own mortar for the patches, but they were just as happy to use color-matched mortar that I provided. They were quick and friendly about the whole job. They wrote us a termite bond and will come back as needed to retreat. Dan has a great reputation here, and it's well earned. He's proud of it, too, and he made clear he'll do what it takes to keep his customers happy. I believe it.

We discovered an infestation of termites in our house when a local contractor was removing the exterior panelling for a stair rebuilding project. Since we were right in the middle of that project and it included exposing a large segment of one wall to the elements, we needed someone to come out as soon as possible to assess and treat the problem. Household Pest Control (recommended by others on Angie's List) came out first thing the next morning, did a thorough inspection, and sent a technician to drill holes into each foundation cement block and inject a termite treatment. The price was well within the expected range for such work and it was begun that very afternoon. This meant that there was only a one-day stoppage in our other projects which was greatly appreciated. My husband was very impressed by this firm and since they were out we asked about our persistent problems with fire ant hills in our very large yard. This was a problem we had been treating with the usual DIY products over the years with very spotty success. For a very reasonable fee of $100 they sprayed the entire yard and within a day, the problem was nearly eliminated. Unfortunately, it rained the day after that treatment but Household indicated that they would retreat the yard if ANY ants/hills erupted over the next week. One did and so we called them back and they came over and retreated the entire yard at no extra charge. We have not seen one ant hill within the boundaries of our yard since: this is a great result. Indeed, we have certainly spent much more than $100 on other kinds of treatments over the past decade. Finally, at Christmas, we got a signed card from the staff at Household, along with a certificate for 10 "bugsbucks" to be applied to future services.

Just bought a vacation home (townhome) in Pensacola. We live in Indianapolis so some of the issues associated with coastal home ownership is new to us. We discovered some dry rot on some of the wood trim on the home and a collection of dead bugs (this was a foreclosure that has been empty for a while). I spoke with Daniel and decided to get the termite treatment. It was explained there are two types of homes in FL... those that have termites and those that will have termites. After some discussion it was discovered that since the termite treatment cost is based on ground level square footage not the total home square footage, I decided to move forward with the treatment. Daniels son arrived in a timely fashion and explained what he was about to do (drill holes in the garage floor along the common wall and then pump the chemicals down these holes then drill holes along the outer perimeter on the 3 remaining sides and do the same. The owner Daniel dropped by during the process and answered my remaining questions and checked on the progress of the treatment. While there I agreed to have them give me a general pest control treatment. Everything went well and the job was completed as described

We recently moved to Florida and, having no experience with local companies, turned to Angie's List to find an exterminator. There were several to choose from and after reading reviews, we decided to go with Household Termite and Pest Control. We called for an estimate and were pleased that they could come out so quickly. They gave us what we believed to be a fair estimate and scheduled them to come back for treatment. Danny and his son came out on a Saturday and treated our home for termites. He explained exactly what he would be using and what he would be doing. He answered all of our questions and even sprayed our entire yard. I told him that that morning I believed I had heard something scratching in my walls. He went up into my attic to check for rodent activity and laid bait for us. So far so good as far as our termite issue. I have every confidence that if any issues arise, all I have to do is call and they will be addressed quickly. I would recommend this company.

This provider is amazing. When we first moved into our house it was a pest nightmare. We had TONS of roaches, silverfish, ant, earwigs and spiders. Once they started their quarterly service, we hardly ever see a pest anywhere and if we do, it's dead! In the beginning, they came out once a week or more if I needed it, to get to the bottom of the problem. They came out as many times as necessary with no additional cost to make sure we were 100% pest free!

The service was excellent, I could not ask for a more professional team to do the work. Dan and his guys graciously rescheduled around my ability to have someone there (they also had to do an inside wall to an adjoining unit). The work was first class, priced more reasonable then others I was looking at, and the customer service was excellent. I would definitely recommend them again and I will use them again when needed.

The experience was great. They're very professional and competitively priced compared to some of the larger termite control company. They did a good job.

Dan came out as promised and surveyed our home for termites. He found none, but I had him treat our home to avoid any future infestation. Dan came on time for the initial visit and for the second treatment visit. Household Termite and Pest Control is one of the few companies I have found that provides treatment and coverage for Formosan termites. Our Church across the street had Formosan termites a few years ago, and that was a mess. I was extremely pleased with Dan's work and have an annual contract for review and treatment if needed. I would gladly recommend Dan to anyone.

He ndicated that we had nothing serious to worry about, and declined an offer for payment for the inspection. It is refreshing to deal with a company so honest and helpful.
