Jose and his team are truly world class professionals. After doing a superb job remodeling two bathrooms for me last year, I called Jose to remodel yet another bathroom and take care of other projects around the house. He and his team, of course, did not fail to deliver. They were punctual, efficient, courteous, and most importantly, delivered impressive results at an excellent price -several guests have already raved about the bathroom they just remodeled. I can't imagine ever calling anyone else for any type of construction or remodeling project -you shouldn't either.

Michael Jordan of Contractors! Joel Ramos and his staff did an amazing job with the remodeling of my bathroom and the flooring of the entire apartment. Their professionalism, efficiency, attention to detail and attentiveness were exceptional. Their prices were very fair. I would rehire Mr. Ramos and Unique Construction in a heartbeat!! Anyone who does not hire them is doing themselves a disservice!

Everything went great. From the contract process, to the start date, to the costs. The workers were great. Joel is very professional. The project began on the start date given. When the workers saw that it may take an additional day, they offered to stay late instead. They still had to come an additional day but as promised he was there bright and early to finish the job. I would rather have one more day and everything is done right, than to rush to finish. I would like to get a quote on another project but I guess they are booked :( No one has called me back. Great experience with Unique Construction.

Working with these guys was an absolute pleasure. I’m sure you don’t often see the word pleasure used in relation to major home improvement projects but that is the word that most adequately describes the experience. Their pricing is extremely fair. They are super flexible as we had a number of changes and additions on the fly which they handled with zero issues. The quality of the work was outstanding, from tile work to electrical work to finishing walls and so on. Their plumbing and tile work in particular was outstanding. There was also fantastic communication through the two weeks, receiving updates every day. The project took that long because we kept adding more tasks outside of the bathroom which again they accepted in stride. Their tradesmen were clean, courteous and punctual as well as being very good at answering questions and explaining what they were doing. What we expected to be a painful and expensive experience turned out to be so much better. Will definitely utilize them again for any project, large or small.

On time everyday and did great work. Very courteous and asked my opinion on some things to see how I wanted things done. Didn’t track in dirt or anything. We had them remodeled our other bathroom 2 Year’s ago. I highly recommend them.

All went perfectly fine with all 3 jobs. Whenever there is/was a question or problem, José calls, texts, or comes by to solve it. This is an A+ company with A+ employees who do A+ work, at a fair price. I think the small bathroom renovation/addition cost about $8,000, plus we paid for the fixtures and the tile. Our other jobs were a new kitchen ceiling with recessed lighting, and renovating our dining room. Sorry, I forgot the cost, but it's always reasonable, fair, worth it, for sure.

This was a complete remodel of my master bathroom, down to studs in the walls. Unique did all of the work including plumbing, tile, drywall m, painting etc. José and his crew were excellent. They provided reliable, honest and professional service, with high-quality work and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills too.

Jose their director of purchases was the person that gave us quote and point of contact throughout the entire project. He was very professional and easy to deal with. However, the workers although they were nice people they lacked experience in advising us with time in advance how we wanted our sink and other fixtures placed on the wall. They lacked attention to detail. The plumber also lacked experience and was not able to fix a leaking pipe. My husband ended up fixing it with other general workers of the same Company. Overall I gave them a “B” rating because they were nice people and the job was fairly priced. However I don’t believe I would hire them again as attention to detail and professional recommendations lacked throughout the bathroom remodel. I really had to be watchful the whole time to ensure things ran as smooth as possible. Also they did not advise us the step separating the shower from the bathroom floor would end up uneven due to and unevenness of the house. Perhaps they could have told us in advance to see if we wanted to fix it and hear other recommendations to ensure it looked it’s best.

Initially spoke to Joel, explained what I needed. He was pleasant and sent someone (I don't care to remember his name) to give me a quote. I knew that what I wanted was a relatively small job so I spent some time going through Angies list finding people that looked like they undertook small jobs as well as the bigger ones. I was also very clear with Joel about what I wanted. This person who turned up to quote told me that he was surprised that he had been sent to me as this was too small a job for them to be interested. Why send someone to waste my time if you are not interested? (The guy at one point said my request was 'too low end' for them, and he asked about building a step into the shower; I was confused about why I needed a step for a walk-in shower (no-one else has mentioned this) and then he said it didn't matter as my bathroom was too small anyway!) I write this review for those who don't have mansions and high budgets - this company is not for you.

This is an outstanding company. Everything was above expectations, but the work ethics was particularly amazing. They were always on time, and did not miss a single day as it unfortunately happens with other contractors. In fact, Oscar and Kevin, the guys who did the work, were coming earlier and were waiting outside to start exactly at 8:00 and leaving at 5 pm. They stayed, with our permission, after hours (to 8:00 pm) to finish the project faster, and also worked a couple of Saturdays. The quality of work is also amazing: we are not experts in miniscule details, but we do not see any blemishes, they did exactly how we asked them to do, and when we needed professional advice they helped us to make a decision. Tiles are perfectly leveled, lights, switches, showers, accessories, etc., everything is exactly as planned. Communication with Joel, the manager, was always enjoyable. He was listening, making suggestions, giving advice and was always available on the phone or in person on a couple of occasions when we needed him. No pushing, no patronizing, yet he can give a constructive advice if you ask him. The logistics was arranged perfectly, so work went smoothly and there were no wait for the electrician or the plumber to come; even the debris was removed on the last day as promised. "Tomorrow morning, Electrician will do the lights." Guess what? At 8 in the morning, electrician shows up and does the lights. They finished on time, if not faster; there was one day lost when we changed our mind and asked to make a change (our own fault in the design). There is nothing negative that we can say about them, and frankly, we do not see a reason to look for another company.

Very professional, clean, and got the job done on time. Would definitely recommend and I'm planning on using them for some other work in my home.

I received a couple of estimates from individuals that would work on my bathrooms. The estimates were around what I expected. The individuals seemed to be experienced and pictures of their work seemed very good. But one always has some doubt. I went ahead and called Unique Construction after reading their reviews on Angie's List just to see if by chance they would be in my budget. Yes, the estimate Jose gave me was very comparable. I must say, I have never dealt with a more punctual, professional and thorough company as Unique. They were at my house at 8 o'clock every morning to work on my bathrooms. Joel was very courteous and responsive to any questions we had. His employees were very professional and considerate. I was extremely pleased that my bathrooms were complete in 11 working days, much faster than I anticipated. I don't know if I will have any other projects that may arise, but if I do, I will not hesitate to call Unique Construction. Very Satisfied with their services.

Awesome experience. We have been impressed by this company and the people working in. From the initial quote to completation it has been a great and easy experience. We remodeled our entire guest bathroom in just 5 days, as promised. Quality is impeccable, everything went smooth, very good communication and workers are not only good but extremely polite and clean. They protected the premises every day leaving a few or no dust at all. The supervisors, Jose and Jose were esquisite, taking care of our fully satisfaction. The workers Kevin, Oscar and Randy were a blast to see at work, punctual, professional, very nice to talk to. All nice and genuine people. Price was overall very honest. We recommend this company eyes closed and no doubt we will use for our future master bathroom remodeling. Thank you !

What a great experience! Everything went exactly as Joel said it would. His workers were on time, courteous and incredible craftsmen. We were so impressed and grateful for the excellent job they did.

Our experience working with Unique could not have been any better. Joel came the day I called and gave me an estimate that evening. His workers showed up every day 15-30 minutes early. They were all extremely respectful and hard working. If they took breaks, I never saw it. Joel managed the project and would come every day to answer any questions we had, and make sure the project was coming along as planned. He was very attentive to our needs and a pleasure to work with. Our bathroom looks great and was completed in the time frame we were told in the beginning. it has been several weeks since the project was completed and Joel still calls to make sure we are still happy with our bathroom. I have already recommended Unique to several co-workers and they are currently doing a job at my parents house as well. We also plan to have them come back soon to remodel our kitchen. It's a relief to know there is still a construction company in Miami that is honest, punctual, and stands by their work.

Both vanities are still in great condition hanging on the wall and we are very pleased with the work.
