Replaced my home's original 1988 double front door with a new impact rated fiberglass door approved and certified by the Miami-Dade County Building Code. This Building Code for products and installation requirements is one of the strictest in the USA. Installation required a Building Permit and final inspection approval by Miami-Dade County. Doors were installed in one day and inspection the following day. A prime example of true quality craftsmanship and job know how. The professional installation by their MASTER CARPENTER was a pleasure to witness. Excellent overall services and I would highly recommend their services.

Jamie and his team were great to work with. The project was extremely complex and beset by multiple delays and complications--none of which were related to the windows or doors. Jamie was always responsive, professional, patient and we always felt he was on our team. When the custom windows were found to have a manufacturing defect, he was there to help facilitate the repair. We knew he would get things done right. The focus on quality work and a quality end-product was demonstrated many times. Easy to communicate with, rapid response to questions and concerns and ultimately a fantastic result.

After looking for five months for a reliable window company we found SRW&D on Angie?s List. I called Jamie Schaffer and two days later he was at my house and same day we received a quote to replace 14 windows and a sliding door with new impact windows. Price was very competitive; we received estimates of over twenty thousand dollar for the same job and couldn?t find any positive review of those companies. From the beginning everything went smooth; the windows were ready a week earlier and they started the job right away. The installation was done on time, professionally, and extremely clean. We couldn?t be happier with the whole process and we wouldn?t hesitate to work with SRW&D again. We would recommend this Company to Friends and Family because of the amazing job they did. I came to SRW&D after a nightmare situation with another window contractor (that I am currently in litigation with, so cannot name). I contracted with Jamie with oversight from my attorney, not that I needed it. I mention this because Jamie was wholly willing to work with me and my attorney to word the contract exactly and deal with my own gun-shy approach to hiring another contractor. He wasn't rude or unprofessional about any of my requests and bent over backwards to make me comfortable with the contract. First thing to understand is that his price is highly competitive. He won't be the cheapest, but you don't want to hire the cheapest for this; however, he certainly won't be the most expensive. As I said, competitive. He and his crew were professional from day one. Next, one of the windows had some structural damage, so he referred a structural contractor and professional stucco repair person to fix that. They then covered the opening and made it weather tight until the new window was in a few days later. The windows came in a little early, and his crew started right away. I have to be at work early in the morning, so I actually gave them a key so that they could come and go as they needed. The men left my place cleaner than they found it! I've never had contractors clean up after themselves. They even mopped! I have two dogs that I kenneled while they worked, and they graciously let them out before they left. The install took a little longer than estimated; this was because I have a very old house (91 years) and they ran into a couple of unexpected hold-ups. However, they stayed through the duration and finished the job... more importantly, they did it right. There was a snafu with the permit, however, Jamie was on top of it and got it resolved quickly. The permit issue was not his fault, but rather an issue with the City of Miami being unable to process appropriately. I speak from experience. That department is a nightmare. They removed the old glass and bars and dumped them for me. Again, it was a tidy and clean process. All in all, I am exceedingly happy with how the install process went. It was a breath of fresh air after my last contractor experience. I cannot recommend them enough. I only wish I had contracted with them the first time around!

From the first estimate to the job finishing it was amazing. No problems what so ever. They were not the cheapest, but were on top of everything, follow up phone calls, work was exceptonal . I was very happy with this company. Well from the get go. I advised them about not being the cheapest but they did give me a discount and they were really on top of things, very professional, the work was amazing, the workers professional the job A+, they cleaned up after them selves and no banging no nothing unbelievable What a great job, so happy we used them !

They did an excellent job of protecting the house from debris, minimizing the escape of cool air and preventing introduction of mosquitoes with tension poles that suspended plastic sheeting inside the room so all work was done in essence outside. Professional, courteous, competent installation and pristine clean up. We LOVE our new door and highly recommend Superior Replacement Window & Door, Inc.

Jamie Schaffer and his crew of installers did an absolutely tremendous job installing hurricane windows throughout our house. They were exactly on time and on budget, installed the windows quickly and cleanly, and responded promptly and professionally throughout. They worked tirelessly, including on weekends, and never left a mess. The windows are outstanding. You get what you pay for, and when you get windows or doors through SRW&D you absolutely are getting the best service. This was a major, major investment and project for us and we decided to go with Jamie and his crew over some cheaper options. The only reason I graded the pricing at 'B' is because they were more expensive than some of our other quotes. But we are so glad we opted to go with them -- it was totally worth it, no question. I have already recommended SRW&D to several of my friends and family and I will not hesitate to do so in the future. You absolutely cannot go wrong using them. Very friendly, polite, and professional. They have their Angie's List ranking for a reason -- they are the best.

Jamie Schaffer and his installation crew were all excellent, professional, timely and provided great service. The order and permit arrived sooner than expected and the installation was scheduled right away. Jamie always responded quickly to my questions. I would 100% recommend them and use them again if needed.

This is a superior company. Their communication and follow through is excellent. The arrived when they said they would for the quote. The had the product ready when they said they would. They came out on the scheduled day(s) (two days) to replace the windows and French doors. Two men who came out to do the work were respectful of the space and worked around an office setting quietly and quickly. The work was immaculate. There was absolutely no clean up. They took away the old window s and door as requested. This was a best of best experience. The office has been transformed.

We are gradually replacing all of the windows and doors in our home and use Superior Replacement every time. The job is always done as promised and in an extremely professional manner which, unfortunately, can be rare in South Florida. They work clean, using plastic tarp to section off living areas and clean up after. This was a full five day job and at the end of the day, there was no mess and we were fully able to use the house. The doors came out beautiful -- the crew even did our stucco work. Price was better than competitors on the doors as well. No downside. Highly recommended.

Everything was done promptly, professionally, and extremely cleanly. All furniture was covered in plastic and dust was vacuumed as drilling was taking place. There was literally no cleanup and no additional finishing work required, unlike a previous company I have used.I would use this company again in a heart beat and recommend them to my friends.

I ultimately went with another company. not because of SW&D, but because we had a family relationship with another contractor who offered a similar price. Had that not been the case, I would have gone with Jason and his organization. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others going forward.

Everything about this experience was excellent. The estimates were provided quickly and were explained thoroughly. I was given good guidance on which manufacturer to chose from, including visiting the manufacturer's showrooms with Jason from Superior. The time-frame estimated for manufacture and installation was very accurate. Permitting was completed without any fuss. There were no surprises in the process, which is something that every contractor should strive for. What I believe sets this company apart from others was the attention to detail. Their quote included removing some of the old hurricane shutters and doing touch-up on the interior and exterior finishes after installation. The work on the touch-up, patching, etc. was excellent. There was no need for me to hire someone to come in after the installation and do that work, which is a huge savings of time and money. There was no damage whatsoever to the existing tile window sills and tile trim in the bathrooms. The installers were quiet, respectful and pleasant to deal with. They cleaned up after their work every day (and I joked that they left the place cleaner than when they found it.) When it came time for the final inspection, the installers met with the inspector, provided progress photos, etc. Jason, Jamie and the installers all were professional on every level. I don't often take the time to write reviews, but this job warranted these positive comments.

We had a few contractors come out for estimates and SRW&D stood out from the get-go. They were professional, thorough and provided an estimate within the promised time frame. Working with them was easy from the beginning of our project. They explained the timeline of services and were always available when we had questions come up. The windows were actually manufactured four weeks earlier than we expected. Jamie was very flexible with working on us on the final payments since the project was going to be completed earlier than anticipated. I had heard horror stories from colleagues about what a nightmare window installations could be and so I was a bit worried about that but the process could not have gone more smoothly. They were in on Monday, at the time they said they would be and worked efficiently to finish installing our 11 windows, French door and front door. They were done by Friday and Jamie came out on that day when we met with the county inspector and everything checked out. I could not be happier with the company we decided to go with. They pointed us in the right direction and finished the work on time and most importantly, on budget. Our windows look gorgeous and we've received numerous compliments from friends and family. The experience with Superior was terrific. From the efforts made by the sales rep to work with us on a number of options and costs, to the owner's direct involvement in final pricing and measurements, to the flawless installation, we were very pleased with the entire process. Although installation of the door locksets were not a part of the installation, we purchased the locksets and Superior's team, installed them for us at no cost. There were no hidden costs and no delays. We would recommend them for the quality, service, and price that we received.

I am completely satisfied with this company's product and service. They were very prompt in scheduling my first appointment. They measured and went over all of my options in detail. They were extremely knowledgeable regarding current code standards. They were very patient with my questions regarding every facet of the process. They delivered the product in approximately four weeks, as promised. They installed the items over the course of several days. The installers were thorough and cleaned up after themselves as they were working. They repaired any issues caused by removal of windows and/or sills. The inspection went well. Jaime and Jason are very buttoned up professionals who take their skills very seriously. Both were very involved in every detail throughout the entire scope of the project. The crew was also excellent. They were thorough in details, clean, polite and very considerate of when the family came home. The crew also went above and beyond by changing headers and frames in order to do the job right. Labor and material was not quoted.

James and Jason are great. I read several reviews on Angies List and asked for a few quotes. I ended up going with SRW&D because they were professional and the price was right. They are not the cheapest company out there but they are not the most expensive either. I dont mind spending a little more if the service and quality justify it. They were very responsive to my eamils or phone calls and very forthcoming with adivce or information. They laid out in detail what needed to be done to achive what I wanted and expeained every cost to me. I greatly apprecaited their honesty when it came to aspects of the project that could not be done due to code restrictions and they worked with me to keep it within my budget when unforseen issues arose. I still have some window work that needs to be done and I will defintiely call them again when I am ready for the next project.

His sales consultant, Jason Spiegelman helped us decide what was for our home as far as design and made us feel we were dealing with people who knew what they were doing. Jamie, then came to remeasure all the windows and doors which we did in the first wave. 4 Doors and 3 windows. Everything that was stated as far as delivery times and how long it would take to finish each door and window was exactly as stated. The installers were exceptional in that they not only did a superb job of installing everything they cleaned up daily so we hardly knew they had been there during the day. I was completley comfortable leaving them at my house when I had to go to meetings. I felt completely at ease as they did their work. My wife and i decided to complete the job this year and we again got competitive bids. I told my wife someone would have to impress me significantly to move away from Superior based on their previouis work. We hired them to complete the rest of the house and as before they were exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring this comapny to complete your job. You will not be dissatisfied and your money will be well spent.

Jamie visited our home and arrived when he said he would. We did a walk through and explained what we were looking for. Jamie went above and beyond and explained all our options. He never overpromissed us and the work was done exactly in the timeframe he provided us.

Could not have been happier! Door looks beautiful, work well. They were prompt, timely, professional and to out great surprise installed a system that kept any dust out of the house completely. Everything was perfect and we have already recommended them to friends.
