The person from Superior window and doors who came really knew his stuff and replaced the lock in 10 minutes and took the time to explain exactly how it worked. This was a 12 year old hurricane back door and somehow they could figure out exactly which lock would work. It took a little time to research , but my contractor and Superior windows made it all work out and worked together to replace the lock. I was really pleased. We hired a company to install new impact doors and windows. After the doors and windows failed the county inspection, we had another contractor take a look at the work. He told us that not only did was every door and window installed improperly, but they actually created "life/safety" issues. I called Superior Replacement Window & Door. Jamie came over and confirmed what was previously told to us and we decided to hire them to correct the work of the original company. Best decision we ever made! Jamie and his team came in and removed and correctly reinstalled every door and window that the original company had done. His team worked on our home like it was their own and completed the work on schedule as promised. What a great experience! Someone else had put in the windows and doors previously, but the thresholds for two doors presented a terrible danger as about two inches above the floor, and people were constantly stubbing their feet and grabbing the door in hopes of not falling. Superior Replacement earns the title. What a group of professionals, who not only did a great repair, but also were prompat as well as meticulous with the cleanup. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a fair price and superior work.

We have hired this company 3 times. First to repair / replace a problematic window (leaks), then to replace all of our existing windows with storm windows as well as garage door replacements. They gave competitive bids. They have experience in dealing with City of Coral Gables building department for permits and inspections, and were responsive from beginning to end, prompt and on schedule. The process from signing to actually getting the job started was very long, but that was due to the city permit process and the window supplier. The company communicated with us regularly on the status of the various stages. We have always been pleased with their work.

The process of deciding where to purchase impact windows and doors is a tough one. There are so many companies and so many different factors that it seems overwhelming. I got several quotes, but the one that stands out the best is Superior Replacement. Jamie Schaffer was outstanding from beginning to end. He went out of his way to explain every detail. He made himself available to accommodate my schedule. And he was honest in letting me know what works best for my house, why it did and was happy to concede if his company could or couldn't provide it. I never felt pressured and never got this service from anyone else. Superior Replacement was also one of the cheapest, comparatively. And they had some better products. Every company says they have the best, but Jamie went through specifics and provided justification. He was willing to work with me at every step and was never pushy. He wanted me to be happy with the process and with the final result. Unfortunately, I couldn't initiate my project as soon as I would have liked, so I didn't move forward. But when pieces fall into place where I can begin my project, I will not hesitate to go with Superior Replacement. There's something to be said for honesty and someone explaining every step without pressuring you to buy.

Earlier in 2021, we had 4 impact doors installed at our house. When Jamie came by for an estimate, he answered all of our questions, took measurements of the doors (which he did again after we chose SRW&D), informed us of what the lead time would be for delivery, and provided an estimated project start date. The project timeline went as scheduled every step of the way. Prior to installation, Jamie met up with us at a local hardware store to help us choose hardware for the new doors. We gave him our must-have specs and narrowed it down within minutes. Installers were early or on time each day and, since this was early to mid-2021, they were masked up while working in and around our home. Work was completed within a few days (2 days to install 4 doors, 1 day for inspections and to address any concerns we had). Installers also cleaned up after themselves each day before leaving (making sure nails, debris, etc were picked up). A few months after installation, I noticed an issue with one section of paneling on one of the doors. I called Jaime and he came by the next day to see for himself and take some pictures. After he reached out to his door manufacturer’s rep, a replacement door was ordered. Since this was unplanned work, we had to wait until we could be squeezed in and an installer was available (not a problem for us as the door was still functional and this wasn’t an urgent request). Shortly after the replacement door arrived, we coordinated an install date and time for the repair. I would not hesitate to work with Superior Replacement Window & Door in the future. The quality of work, level of effort put in by every single person on the project, and Jamie’s willingness to make himself available to answer any questions we had via email, phone, or text, made the entire process a smooth one. For reference: Our project was for 4 doors (1 solid, 2 with a half glass insert, and 1 with a 1/5 glass insert), permitting process included, totaled to about $9,100 for materials and labor.

I found superior replacement window and door on Angie’s list, after unsuccessfully finding a referral from friends and family. They have great reviews on Angie’s list. We had a great experience with Jaime during the estimate process. He came to our home, was very knowledgeable, and very professional. We proceeded with the estimate to replace three or four doors. There was a bit of a wait for manufacturing, but the doors came in a little faster than expected. The communication during that time was excellent. The installation process was amazing. Jamie’s installation crew was phenomenal. They were very nice, very respectful, and did an amazing job. They really thought of everything. They were very attentive to every question or request we had. The installation was done quickly and perfectly. We are very happy with our doors, and are considering doing our windows very soon. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.

I just want to call out Jamie Schaffer for helping me resolve an issue I had with a door I purchased from his company 11 years ago. I contacted him because I wasn't sure how to handle the problem and thought he might be able to tell me who to contact. He not only remembered my home but said he would come and see what the issue was. He came as promised and spent quite a bit of his day helping me resolve my issue. He was able to contact the right person to fix my door and requested I text him letting him know when the door is fixed. He really went above and beyond to ensure my continued satisfaction. I recommended them prior to this because I was very happy with the whole installation process but now I am even more convinced I picked the right company with my window and door installation. Superior Replacement Window & Door inc. was a referred to me by a friend that had all her windows and doors replaced by them last year. I had 3 quote to replace my front door and patio doors, but I'm glad I decided to get a fourth quote. James the owner was very professional. He explained the benefits of doing a recessed threshold on my doors. He demonstrated that by recessing the door threshold I wouldn't have a piece of metal sticking up in front of my doors and would avoid having a trip hazard. Its an upcharge on the installation price, but worth every penny. None of the other companies brought this to my attention. His quote was competitive. My entire experience with SRW&D was excellent! This company was recommended to me by 3 different friends who all loved their work. I got quotes from 4 companies. They were not the cheapest, but I went with them because of the work I saw they did at my friend's home. From Robert who came out to give me the quote, he was knowledgeable and very helpful helping me pick what I want. Then the owner Jamie came over and went over every single opening with me and made recommendations that no other company had pointed out to me about my slider installation. He was so helpful, and you could tell he wanted it to be done right! My installation was a dream! I replaced every opening in my house and the installation team, lead by Alejandro, were very professional, courteous, polite, and neat. They not only installed the windows and doors, but their, masonry, stucco, tile and woodwork was absolutely perfect on every opening inside and out! The Palmetto Bay Building Inspector commented on what an amazing installation job they had done. "One of the best I have ever seen!" In life you get what you pay for, and I paid just a little bit more for SUPERIOR service and quality, I would recommend them to anyone!

I would like to thank James and his crew for doing a really fine job on the installation of my windows and doors. James' installers were very professional from the get go. The windows look great and the attention to detail regarding the trim work on the Sliding glass doors and the 2 doors were superb! Even after payment was rendered, i had a few minor Caulking issues which they came out and fixed immediately. I am extemely satisfied with the entire project and wouldn't hesitate to higher them for future projects.

This is the second time I used Jamie. The first time was so good that 15 years later I used him again. Best price from all the quotes I recieved. All the work was done incredibly well, fast and reliable. He told me it would take 5 days and the morning of day 5 they were packing up and having final inspections. I also had a manufactures defect and it was fixed immediately.

Jamie and his team did an outstanding job replacing 5 french doors. Our house is old and has had many modifications. Jamie and his team took the time to come up with a plan for each unique door configuration. The V&V doors he recommend were perfect and not as heavy and overbearing as some of the higher end models while still meeting hurricane codes. All the workers were very timely, very courteous and extremely neat as well.

Before the end of the hurricane season, we got new windows in our home. We highly recommend this company for that. They handled everything with professionalism and care. Great prices.

I could not be happier with the results! Installation went extremely well (quick and clean), much better than we anticipated. My only comment is that Jamie is not your typical sales guy... he won’t push (good), but sometimes he forgets to follow-up on quotes (not so good). We just decided to replace our sliding doors with them as well. Hopping to have the same experience we did with the windows. Update as of 2/12 After installing the PGT windows we realized that one of the sliding doors had a minor glass defect that couldn’t be removed with polishing. The glass had to be replaced. Jamie, the owner, took care of reaching out to PGT and follow-up with them regularly until the glass was replaced. I couldn’t be happier with their service and attention to detail!
