(03/01/2010) I wanted them to replace the rollers at the bottom of the sliding doors and the frame as well. I haven't called them back yet. They came out in January and did the quote. The guy that came out explained everything to me. He was very courteous and he was right on time. My experience was good. I am considering using their services. UPDATE (04/12/2010) I got an estimate on January and called them 2 months later to get the job done. Very punctual to give me the estimate and also when they came to do the job. They are very professional and pleasant to interact with, also the sliding glass doors close so smoothly now.

We called Sunshine and they came out later that day to put in new rollers that were different from what we had been trying to fix it with. Like they said in the advertisement, we were able to open it with one finger when they were done! We are very happy with the work and would definitely use them again.

This is a great service company. I wish all service companies had such a fine work ethic.

It went perfectly. He was pretty much exactly on time. He got right to work and explained everything he was doing as well as the additional pricing of the screen. Our back slider is the biggest impact glass slider that PGT makes. It weighs a ton. I helped him get that door out of the track and he really earned his money (as my help was minimal). He adjusted the rollers as well and we were good to go. Really nice guy and great service. Highly recommend.

The service was prompt, and the quality of the work was excellent. I did not compare prices with those of other companies because I did not get estimates.

They slide with only one finger. They came out when they said and everything was fine.

Frederico came back exactly when he said, did the work himself. He replaced all the rollers and eliminated air leak problems in a couple cases (even though we never mentioned this problem - at no added cost). The windows slide and lock with a fingertip. The work was done relatively quickly and when finished,everything was as clean as before the work started. What a pleasure to work with this company and this person. I would recommend Sunshine unconditionally for their work, fair pricing and professionalism.

The technician showed up right on time. After he inspected the door he provided two estimates- one if only the rollers had to be replaced and another if the track also needed to be replaced. Fortunately, only the rollers had to be replaced. He did the work, showed me the parts and cleaned the area. I asked him about another sliding door that was not as bad. He proceeded to clean and oil the tracks resulting in a marked improvement. I would highly recommend this vendor.

Specialist arrived promptly at appointment time. Introduced himself professionally and courteously. Came into home, viewed the problem slider. Explained in detail the repair required, the cost, and the warranty. I approved for the work to be done and the job was finished in approximately 30 minutes. Specialist provided a clear and concise bill, gave discount as advertised (without any prompting). I am very happy with the work done.

They came and gave us an estimate, then made an appointment to return. They were on time. It took two men to handle the doors. They replaced the rollers and fixed the lock and then cleaned up the patio and move everything back in its place. They were very professional. We recommend Sunshine Door Specialists, Inc. to anyone who has a door problem.

Doors function perfectly now, even though they are almost 50 years old! Only complaint I have is that the tech should have put a tarp or other protection on the patio where he worked, as the removal of the old wheels left an oil and corrosion stain that was difficult to clean up.

When I called Sunshine Home Services, there was someone at my house the next day to provide an estimate. They built two new screen doors for my sliding glass doors that were installed about 10 days later. The screen door for my front door had to be returned to the shop because the door was cut too large. It was installed two days later. I have used this company before and once again was very satisfied with their work.

We called to ask if they could come take a look at the door and the owner directed one of his technicians to our house within 30 minutes. Ricardo was extremely professional and helpful. He took a look at our doors and gave us a price quote immediately. He even offered to fix one of the door handles for free. He was efficient, courteous, and professional. He completed the work on the door within 30 minutes. I have no complaints what-so-ever. This was by far the best experience my husband and I have had with home services since we moved to Miami in 2005. I highly recommend this company.

One of the window cranks broke due to the bar being bent from windows that were installed when we purchased our house in 1970's. He came over, removed the bar and gave me an estimate. He was unable to find a new part but he took that broken part to the machine shop. They were able to repair it and installed it a couple a days after taking. They did a great job. They were polite, professional, and timely.

After initial contact, Someone came to see the work that needed to be done. Since items needed to be ordered, a deposit of $150 was requested. A date and time for the job was given, and kept. Both doors now function well.

Overall, person did a pretty good job. Arrived a bit late but called to inform me ahead of time that he was running late. Listened closely to the items needing repair. Was sensitive to my budget issues in trying to have screens with very small tears repaired rather than a complete replacement of the screens. Did a good job on all the items, including the high up items requiring work from the roof (dangerous work). Took about 3 hours to complete job. Did leave one section not completely secured to the frame but given where it is, that may have been the only option.

I called on Tuesday November 17, and was able to set up an appointment for Wednesday, the 18th. I found the office staff very pleasant. I was concerned that they wouldn't come to Southwestern Broward County-because they are in Miami. The door specialist came to my home as promised. I thought I would need service on 5 sets of doors, he said at this time, I only needed work on 3 and that the other 2 would probably be ok for another year or so. He was very honest. My sliding doors work like NEW! I can move them using one finger as the ad promised. I was told that the new screens and screen door would be ready the following day, which they were. They were delivered promptly! I am very happy and recommend highly!

Appt scheduled for 9am; tech arrived on time. He spent additional time cleaning out track; incredibly hard worker; did a great job; very professional and courteous. Have nothing to compare too with regard to how much he charged us but felt he gave us our monies worth.
