Was quoted $95 and charged over $200. Repair took 15 minutes including his phone time. In called to discuss and they never called back. Will never use them again.

Great, another company told me it had to be replaced. These guys fixed it in under an hour.

Once they got to my house, the work was done perfectly. They were also on time and sliding door works great. Knocked down to B because they scheduled me and they knew it was an impact door and I took time off work and when they called to confirm and I reminded them it was impact they had to reschedule me for the following week because they didn't put the correct notes the first time. Also they were not cheap but did good clean work .

The woman who helped me when I called was great. She took my information and scheduled an appointment for me right away. Then the day before the appointment she called to confirm which I was very impressed with. Then on the day of the appointment when no one showed up I tried to call several times with no answer. Finally hours later she called and said he was running late. I told her I would be out until around 5:30. She said she would let him know and hung up before I could say anything else. I have not heard back and I won't be calling them to reschedule.

It went good, It took a while to get him over for the quote. He did an excellent job.

They didn't come out on the date they originally promised, but they were punctual. He came early, I think. They were professional in their behavior but the substance of what they did was terrible. It was well presented with a tablet and all those kinds of stuff. Basically what it would have boiled down to is it was a service that wasn't really necessary and they were overpricing. They were way out of line on pricing. They were charging me $55 for something which costs $6 at the hardware store. They were supposed to get back to me with an estimate but they never did so because of that, I went and looked at it myself and basically, all the door needed was a little bit of a clean out in the track and some WD-40. It was all it needed and it worked perfectly fine after that. Instead of telling me that, he told me I had to pay for labor and pay for parts which were all way overpriced, and that's what really got me upset. Those were not needed at all. They came across as very, very sophisticated and professional but he barely looked at it without even examining the thing in question. That really got me upset plus he was looking at something else, one of my windows and he took 2 of the parts to check whether he could get a part and he took the parts and never came back. I left messages to at least return my parts, and he never did. I've read the reviews and basically speaking, they are good reviews which is why I went ahead. Our experience was very, very bad. The overall picture is that they were horrendous. They were terrible.

I made an appointment on Monday for Friday. On Thursday night they called to confirm the appointment for the next day. On Firday they called and said the repairman was in the area an hour before my appointment time and could he come early? I said yes and Edson was at my house in 5 minutes. He gave me an estimate to repair 2 sliding glass doors for $245.00, which I thought was a good deal, since I could barely get the doors to open. He said the track on one of the doors might be bad and that would be an extra $120.00. I told him to do the work. He replaced the rollers on the top and bottom of both doors. The track was OK so I did not have to pay for that. I have to be careful now with the doors that they don't bang into the wall since they slide like they are on ice. He was in and out in a little over an hour and a half. Very professional. This company is great.

On December 21 a technician came to our home to look at the job and give an estimate. He said he could complete the job in one day, but that he was not available until December 30. With the holidays upon us it was completely understandable. I accepted his estimate of $650 for the repair and we set the appointment for December 30 at 9am. I received a confirmation call on the 29th from the office which is great! On December 30th the tech arrives on time but tells me he has a problem and cannot do the job that day. Why didn't I get a call earlier to tell me? He said he would leave the materials and come back the next day but it would have to be early- 8am. The next day he shows up an hour late (despite his request to start at 8). After getting 2/3 of the way through the job he tells me he cannot complete the job- he is not feeling well. I ask him to sit down, bring him some water and tell him to come back when he is better. He said he would come back Saturday morning. I did not hear from him on Saturday morning. He called close to lunch time to tell me he is near my home and to see if he can come- but I have already left home and gotten on with the day. We had to reschedule for nearly a week later. It is January 7 and the job is now finally done. However- I came home this afternoon to find that he dumped all of the old screens plus various other work materials including his personal tool box into my waste bin which was just emptied. He filled it nearly to the top- so I spent the rest of the afternoon emptying the garbage into my car (yuck) to take it to the dump so that I will have room in my bin for trash until my next pickup. The good thing is that it appears that he did a nice job on the actual work. Unfortunately it was a lot of aggravation to finally get to the finish line and I would have appreciated it if he had taken the old screens and his personal garbage to the dump, rather than leaving the mess for me. He was a very nice man but the whole thing was not as professional as expected.

The job performed was good and punctual. Done quickly. The only objection is the verbal estimate did not match the invoice (not really an invoice, a handwritten note on a notepad) that was given to me at the end of the work. My mistake was to take a decision too quickly and only trust an approximate price given to me during the inspection. I did not realize that many screen (covered pool screen) were going to be replaced. I did not expect to pay $1400 for a door and 13 screens. In the future, I will make sure to have a signed estimate before the job is done. When you deal with covered screened pool, it's not as advious how many screen needed to be changed, and so many more screens were changed which I did not expect. I still think they did a good job but I will probably not use them again.

They were fantastic, I submitted the request on Sunday, I heard back from them on Monday morning and scheduled a quote for Tuesday afternoon. The technician was onsite on time, the diagnostic was performed in 5 minutes. Immediately after seeing how well they have been I approved the quote and he went to work. 45 minutes later he was done. We are enjoying our sliding glass door as it should be. Very excited and I would recommend them any day to anyone. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

Sunshine doors did a fantastic job fixing my glass door. My old glass door was probably 20 years old and never maintained. It required some serious muscle to open and close. My son could not do it. I had Sunshine come and they replaced the rollers without even taking the glass doors off. I can move with one finger now. They could have taken advantage but they didnt. Awesome job! Thank you!

We are very pleased with the service. The employee gave us the estimate and explained very well what he was going to do. He was punctual, very polite, clean and did a good job.

The technician who came to my house was Junior. Junior was very professional, pleasant and efficient. Work was done on same day as the estimate was done, which I was pleased with. I neglected to mention the coupon that appeared on Angie's List to Junior, so he did not give me the discount. However, when I called the office to claim my discount, they immediately sent me a check in the mail ! Unheard of in these days and times !!! Would use them again ! A+++

They did a good job. It was only one guy and the only problem I had with him, it was hard to understand him because he doesn't speak Spanish and his English is limited so he speaks Portugese so it's a little difficult. But, he was very good. What I liked about them was that they came, they gave me the estimate and the price was right and I told them to go ahead with the work, I gave him a deposit, he came the next day and did the work and that was it. He emailed me a picture of what the worker was going to look like and his name so when the guy did come, I'd know what he'd look like. They're about average in pricing. They know what they're doing. They had to work around our schedule since they're in Miami and I'm in Broward County which is the next county up. They had to arrange it in order to make sense for them to come out here and give me an estimate.

They subcontracted the job to another guy. Price wise, they were about the same with other companies. I like Bobby who did the job.

We have been fighting with opening our back sliding glass door for years; apparently this is a common problem that is very easily remedied by having the rollers replaced on the door.... I finally contacted Sunshine Door Specialists, who I found on Angie's List, and was happy I did. They provided me with a general price range based on my description of the problem and scheduled a technician to come out and give me a quote within a day or two. They also explained that if I was okay with the quoted price the technician would be able to perform the work right then and there. As an added bonus, this company will also email you the name of your technician along with a picutre so you know exactly who to expect. The technican showed up about 40 minutes late but did call within approximately 20 minutes of the appointment to let me know he was running late from another customer, so I didn't view this as an issue, it happens. The technician was polite and knowledgable and ended up formally quoting me the same price as was given to me over the phone and even brought to my attention that I would receive a discount for stating that I found them on Angie's List. Overall, this was a great experience; I would definitely use them again in the future and refer them to anyone looking for services of this nature.

The sliding door was done same day of the estimate. The windows on second appointment. The technician arrived bit late but apologized. He was very professional. They had a coupon so I saved some money. They confirmed both appointments the day before and even sent me a photo of the tech by email for safety. Very pleased with the work and service.
