Reef did a fantastic job in pressure cleaning our roof and walkways and most importantly in painting the exterior of our house. We had some detail work with accent colors and multiple areas that needed patching from other repairs. Reef did such a great job that the house looks brand new! Hector and Hector (the painters) were a joy to work with and they took great pride in their work. Highly recommended!

The staff was punctual and diligent. They explained the process to me at my request. I was very satisfied with their knowledge and ultimately with the results. Once finished they made sure to hose down all areas that required hosing down. Reef Tropical Cleaning & Services accommodated all my needs. The appointment was set up and a text sent to confirm time and date. Roof looks brand new!

Alex from Reef Tropical came to do the job. He was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. Did a nice neat job. Went out of his way to make sure it was completed not only to my satisfaction but to his.

They could have taken the quality of the pay less than the quality of the work.

There was quite a bit of clean up that had to be done regarding the ex-pond that I had. I helped him with it, he worked real hard, he got the job done in time.

I originally bought 2 Angie's List Big Deal coupons for $299 for 6 hours each. When I called and talked to the owner he became difficult to work with because as I listed out the work, he brought up all of the restrictions associated with the deal, such as no electrical or plumbing work. The biggest restriction is that all 6 hours of the deal are REQUIRED to be done in ONE visit. The work cannot be split up into 2 jobs, such as a 2nd coat of paint if the first coat isn't dry after applying the 1st coat. Another restriction is that the deal includes only one worker, so if any of my jobs require a 2nd worker, it cannot be done without buying another deal. I was up-sold to add another person at the same price as the original Big Deal of $299 to get all of my jobs done, so I ended up buying 3 deals in total. About some of the other restrictions, I was quite surprised that hanging a new light fixture in our bathroom was considered to be electrical, so they would not agree to take that job. In addition, hooking up 2 new outdoor garden hoses outside was considered to be plumbing job and they wouldn't take that either. On the plus side, the work that the son Alex did was very good, both in quality and professionalism. He did a good job of installing a closet organizer in a spare bedroom. The other people sent to do perform work, however were not very skilled and took their good old time getting things done. I believe this is why some jobs that were planned to be completed were not done due to lack of time. The 18 hours of work i purchased should have been plenty of time to complete everything. I would not recommend this company for the Angie's List Big Deal. They might be okay to hire outside of that but there are way too restrictions on their deal. I've hired many other handymen for jobs, and this is the first that couldn't perform tasks such as hanging an outdoor garden hose or new bathroom light fixture.

I'm not exactly sure what the story is regarding this company as in my opinion, its legitimacy is suspect and questionable at best. I repeatedly had to chase the owner down to determine when they were going to come to conduct the roof cleaning. While the owner did respond to me, it always seemed to take anywhere from 3 days to 24 hours to get a response initially. After settling on a date, I then received excuses of weather, broken equipment, etc. etc. While all these things may be true (giving the benefit of doubt), this exchange is ridiculously too complicated just to have my roof cleaned. After approximately 10 emails and 2 confirmed times and dates with no shows on both dates for a coupon I paid $169 for but ended up being $450? There are plenty of other options out there at similar pricing that will cause less stress on your life for something so trivial as a roof pressure washing. Legitimate companies that do this full-time, for a profession, and do it with pride and professionalism don't need 10 emails to get business done. It's simple, seamless, and easy. Had I allowed the game to continue with this company, I'm sure I would have figured out that they outsourced the job to someone in Orlando anyway since they are based out of Miami. Keep looking, there are good companies out there - this one is just not one of them based on my initial exchanges with them.

This is the second time I have used this company to paint my apartments. They were very puntual ever morning. They covered all the floors so as not to get any paint on them. Their price was better than other quotes I got. The workers were courtious. They made sure to leave everything clean. I plan to use them again.

The job went very well. I live in a historical part of Miami off the Miami River so I needed a Certificate of Appropriateness for my paint colors from the preservation board of the city of Miami. Reef Tropical Cleaning & Services is aware of the application process an advised me how to obtain the COA which was very easy to complete. After my paint colors were approved, Victor and his paint crew came out and assessed the exterior of the home. My house as I stated is historical so it has some unique architectural characteristics that require special attention. Reef Tropical Cleaning & Services paid attention to this and did an excellent job. They arrived on time everyday, early in the morning and ready to work. If you are an early riser, they will meet with you prior to you leaving to go to work to discuss concerns or questions relating to the job. They also were careful with the landscaping which I really appreciated. I also hired them to do other jobs such as patio screen installation, drywall and window blinds installation. I definitely recommend them for your home improvement needs. (The Approximate cost of services below reflects the house painting service. This does not include materials.)
