Paid for a full day of painting services by two "professional" painters. Two young adults showed up, one of them either half asleep or half stoned. I would never select the option to pay for the day again, but rather advise that you pay for the job. They painted for the day and left three rooms and two bathrooms only halfway done. Not a single room they started was finished!! The owner then called and said he'd be happy to have one of them come back the next day to finish the job, for an additional $200. Yeah right! So now I have the upstairs of my townhouse half finished in every room. Worse off then when I started with this company. When they arrived one of them had to leave to Home Depot because they didn't have all their supplies.I left them in the house for a couple of hours and when I came back one of them was on the phone with a woman (he had her on speaker phone so when I walked in I could hear the conversation). During the original conversation with the owner when we discussed the work to be done on the phone, he said that in a day two painters could finish 3-4 rooms. When I raised the concern that the service he provided was unacceptable, he said that he "had notes about our conversation and that he had told me it would take about two days." When I reminded him he said they could finish 3-4 rooms in one day, he simply retorted that it doesn't work that way because the paint has to dry and they have to come back. Save yourself a lot of frustration and expense...hire a professional painting service to get the job done.

My overall experience was positive with them. Pricing could be a little more better and I did not feel like I got a break for being a repeat customer. The service guy named Alex was a complete pleasure and had me and my family very comfortable with him being in our home. He cleaned up after himself after every task and was very efficient with the time he was here. The only factor that was not a pleasure, is that now weeks later I just discovered we (Alex and I) missed the pull down lever for the blinds. Other than that slight oversight I would highly recommend their services. Also, I never contacted them about this factor either. So, to be fair, they may have come out to correct this if I did.

Main job was to install attic ladder, all the measurement was provided before hand as well as job description, but once on site the attic ladder could not be installed due to the size of the opening and an A/C Duct. However, other jobs around the house were completed, such as overhead garage racks & cabintes, mirror and two curtains in guest bedroom. individual was prepared and communicated well. Communication and responsiveness over all was positive.

Awful. I was expecting them to repair my fence which was really loose. But when the gentleman arrived he said we didn?t have the concrete correctly in place so he would be able to help us. So that the coupon didn?t go to waste, he said he could adjust the gate which was a little hard to close. It took him 15 min and he was gone. He also mentioned to my husband he needed to make it quick since he had to be in court for a child support case for his daughter. I called the owner and told him I felt ripped off, we paid $99 for 15 min of work. He said that?s the way these things work sometimes. I asked him for an estimate to actually correct the fence, and perhaps he could apply a credit. He said that was a possibility but I never heard back from him

Both times I've used Reef Tropical I was very pleased with the services! The cleaners were very prompt, polite, and respectful. They both did absolutely wonderful jobs, and left my house sparkling and smelling like new! I will definitely use them again. Also, I really appreciated the wonderful service provided by Victor, who schedules... He has called to confirm, and follow up with me each time which was a very nice personal touch!

The installer was Alex. He was punctual, professional and hard working. He had to tear down original closet system, patch and paint walls then install new system. The job took 2 days which is what we had anticipated. He encountered some problems with the old walls but knew exactly how to deal with the problem. Alex worked a total of 12 hours, 6 hours each day non-stop. I would highly recommend handyman Alex from Reef Tropical Cleaning and services.

owner very persistent in a good way in making initial contact - i wasn't quite ready for him but he kept following up til i was. we discussed the work that needed to be done, and made plans for his worker to show up. as promised, the gentleman was punctual and spoke no english, but i speak enough spanish to work around that. the work was done satisfactorily - i had to leave him once he got started so a couple of small things got missed, which i'd have been able to get addressed on the spot, but such is life. good service, fair price, recommend.

told me I would have to supply the materials. when I said that I didn't know what materials would be needed he told me to ask for a refund.

I purchased this deal to have help painting trim in a rental apartment. I was under the assumption that this was a professional painting business with skilled labor but I was mistaken. The work was completed yesterday (June 30th) but I am redoing everything by myself today. I believe the gentleman that came to do the work was nothing more than a day laborer that I could have picked up myself at home depot. The overall quality of the work was lazy with uneven coverage and paint left all over (window, wall, floor, etc.) I am extremely disappointed with this special and do not feel the quality of work completed warrants the $33/hr rate.

The company was nice. The painter was nice. The quality was average. There were paint marks left on the baseboard. He also got the initial color wrong in the bedroom. We had to get another gallon of paint to fix. The painter himself was very nice though

He didn't fix the bottom of the fence He left me all pieces of wood piled up for me to throw away Instead of cutting the fence around a tree that was growing into the fence, he did the easiest thing which was to nail the board on to the tree, I could have done this, however the difficult task of cutting around the tree branch so the fence does not come off again, he did not do. The tree branch will continue to grow and since he did not cut the fence around it and leave space for the tree branch to grow it will just come off in a few months and I will be stuck with the same problem again. But other than that it was fine and had I been there to supervise the job and tell him how to best do it, most likely it would have all come out fine.

They showed up on time and did excellent work. While my home looked like it was in need of exterior painting, the quality of their work will allow me to postpone the painting project and our home looks like new again.

This company is easy to do business with, from scheduling the job to special requests. The handyman showed up on time and went right to work. I had quite a long list of things I needed done and everything was completed quickly and correctly.

The service went well. It was our first time using Angie's List. We were anxious. The 2 guys were professional, on time, and had pleasant personalities. They were at our condo for 3hrs and we paid $199. They hung several frames, pictures, etc.. They also fixed doors, replaced tricky lightbulbs, fixed couch legs on our leather couch, etc.

First, the painter arrived later than the scheduled time. Second, he used blue tape (that we had to provide) on everything. Not just the difficult areas...he blue taped every baseboard and trim. Next he proceeded to paint the trim with a roller...who paints high-gloss enamel trim with a roller? At this point it was obvious to me he was not a professional painter. After he was "finished", he left the blue tape on the wall and told us to remove it after 4 hours to give the paint time to dry. When we removed the blue tape, we noticed dozens of mistakes...he stuck the tape to painted trim areas...he painted past the blue tape with his roller and got pain on the walls...and in a few areas he pained the wall and covered it up with blue tape...we also found areas on the trim that were not even painted like on the top of the door trim. We took pictures of the work as we couldn't believe it ourselves. We had to completely redo the trim and baseboard paint as well as repaint some walls. Needless to say we would never reuse this company or recommend them to others. I feel we should receive a full refund of our Angie's List Big Deal purchase.

The two young men did an incredibly GREAT job! I had A LOT of pavers to clean (2,300 square feet) and the job that they did was incredibly good. They were neat and pleasant and I couldn't have asked for better resultsw. Thank you!
